I got rid of my demodex by rubbing castor oil on my eyelashes nightly and washing my face numerous times a day. Also, I find changing my pillowcases more frequently helps.
Yes. Little creeps live in our hair also. Yuk. Tea tree oil before shampooing, or in shampoo, helps kill them off…so does the peroxide if you color your hair!

I used to have bad dry eyes- felt like someone stabbed a needle in my eye. My ophthalmologist suggested intentionally washing my eyelids with baby shampoo or gentle soap while in the shower. Use a small amount and gently scrub your eyelids and then rinse completely. I have not had an issue with "VooDoo Doll Needle in the Eyes" in a few years now!

Tea tree foam ( ocusoft demodex /we love eyes / naviblef if u in Europe ) twice a day, 1 eye at the time, 60 seconds ( timer or count till 100 quick is circa 1 minute ) then rinse. Stopped eyelashes loss and kills bacteria and mites. First month 2 a day then once for manteinence FOREVER :)
Love the thumbnail. It looks like the mite is seated on his throne in the Kingdom of the Eyelid Mites and is beckoning you to approach and present your argument for a bilateral trade pact.
I’ve suffered for over 11 years with these. Every time I would ask dermatologist or eye doctors they would say “ everybody has them.” But not everybody has an over population of them. They were making my life miserable. Finally, my ophthalmologist prescribed Xdemvy and it has been like night and day for me. I’m going into my 4th week of treatment and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m now looking into ways to build up my immune system to hopefully prevent this from happening again🤞🙏
My eye mites started building up after my cataract surgery. I could actually feel them moving around. I searched the internet and found eye mites and immediately knew I had them. Ivermectin cream once then the next week took care of them or at least got them under control. No more problem a year later and if they regrow I know what to do. I believe the topical antibiotics from the eye surgery cleaned out some bacteria that were limiting the mites.
Hi, all i know was my eye lids were always red, had what i thought was sleep in my eye lashes and suffer dry eye to the point i couldn't do anything because my eyes were watering all the time for up to good 30 mins, i was advised baby shampoo, how awesome it can't hurt me cause it's for babies, the trick is to wet eye lashes, put some baby shampoo on 2 fingers, enough for both eyes, rub the opposite fingers, then apply to eyes, wash in at all different angles to free up the crust, massage for anywhere up to 5 mins, the longer the better i feel, i used it till my eyelids were normal again, after that everytimes i saw redness return, i would treat again, now i haven't had to treat again for a long time. The baby shampoo has low ph so it doesn't burn as bad, it doesn't dry the skin out either and lastly it's cheaper than most products. I hope this help someone, like this vid helped me understand the unknown. In a way it's like having dandruff only on ur eye lashes...
I heard about using baby shampoo many years ago. I do this treatment a few times a month, just in case! The thought of these things on me is horrifying but I know most people have them. Now that I just watched this video I think I’ll do it tonight! Lol
Just happy to help, i just know it helped me and i have a good optometrist that gave me this advise due to cost, he told me he could sell me other products but $20-$30 a bottle when baby shampoo was just $10 and last for months...goodluck with it and i hope u all get relief...

Doctors in France tell patients to simply to use a clean washcloth, wet it with water as hot as you can stand it and to press on washcloth onto the eyelids and just press, this will warm the oils and waxes around the lash base and they will flush out naturally the Demodex along with warming the crusty junk along the edge of the lids...

A solution for my 60 plus year acceptance and defiance of Demodex blepharitis infestation of my eyelashes. For 60 years I have suffered with this daily frustration. I had tried all, and nothing had worked. Until Aloe. 25 weeks ago while cleaning a fresh aloe vera, Aloe blepharitis, I applied a small piece of the freshly cut leaf to my eyes, as well as my face and hands. I knew that aloe has properties that are beneficial to ones skin. I said maybe, why not, it's one of many, blah blah, and said this may work to minimize the Demodex blepharitis that was been my longest frenemy. The next morning on awakening and doing my daily ritual of eye attack, I noticed less crumble. Odd. I did not think of the results for the rest of the day. The same day I prepared another Aloe to drink and again used the skins still containing gel to bathe my eyes and face and hands letting the gel dry in place. There was no irritation from the Aloe gel that was left on the skin or eyes. The next morning on initiating my daily eye ritual I noticed virtually no eye crumble. This time I said maybe the Aloe is responsible. I said this with an assurance as NOTHING HAD WORKED in the past. So. This third day I did the same with a freshly cut leaf that had drained of it's latex, the yellow liquid that flows so freely from the leaf when cut for several hours. NOTE, the latex is an irritant and a laxitive so be aware. My eyes, face and hands were once again bathed in Aloe gel. The next morning it was conclusive that the Aloe had vanished the mites. Even less than the virtually no mites of the previous morning. For 25 weeks now I have been applying the gel some days on some days off but consistently over 80% of the days Aloe was used. I would even apply the gel 3 to 5 days a day from the skins of the cut aloe. To date, 4 Oct 2017, no irritation of eyes, face or hands. AND NO MITES. NO Eye Crumble. Will this work on all I do not know. I do know it worked and continues to work for me. Hope this helps many. PAZ from Chiapaz, Mexico UPDATE Today, 4 October 2017. I am still free of Demodex bl
I've been using castor oil. My eye doctor was surprised how good my eyes looked at last cleaning and asked what I was doing. It's always given my good eyelashes and eyebrows growth too. I put on eyes then sit with heat om eyes.

I’ve been experiencing Bleparitis when I turned 50 so it’s been 6 years. What has helped me prevent the awful eyelid inflammation and infections has been what my ophthalmologist recommended: use Ocusoft Lid Scrubs pads rt after removing makeup, wash with baby shampoo and use Thera tears Antimicrobial eyelid cleanser just spray on eyelids or on a pad and do not rinse it.
I’m 73 and it does the same. One of the things that really helps is rinsing my eyes with an eyewash that has boric acid (a saline solution is cheaper and will work also after you have an eye cup), along with blink eyedrops, antihistamine eyedrops when I need them, and a lid scrub. I use OcuSoft. They are pricey but I cut each little cloth into eight smaller ones. Start with eyelashes and work my way up into eyebrows, then toss. Crimp the foil package so the remaining ones don’t dry out.
Omg!! I finally know what I have got. I can feel them moving. My lashes have been falling out . I have tried blephasol and a cream but they are not helping. Now I know, thank you

I always add tea tree oil (a drop or two) to my face cleansing routine and give my lash line and brows a good scrub. I have rosacea (or used to) and use diaper cream and vaseline on my cheeks if I have a flare. I tried the vaseline on my lash line but it really aggravated my eyes. I think if you get rid of most of it on your face, the tea tree oil takes care of the lash line. Well, it did for my anyway.

Thank you for that - I didn’t know I could use ti-tree oil for blepharitis. New Zealanders use it for lots of other things: insect bites, fungal prevention, head lice, wool wash… great stuff! Did you know that ti-tree oil and Manuka honey are from the same tree? It is native to New Zealand where the Māori call the tree Manuka. Ti-tree is the word the English settlers gave it. Its incredibly versatile: fast- growing and easy to regenerate, the leaves make good compost (and tea!), is really good hot firewood (because of all the oil in it) and has clouds of really pretty white flowers in spring. The wonder tree❤
They are slightly different species, but similar. The efficacy of the oil from each varies greatly over the whole Oceania (AU/NZ) region. For this purpose you could try either.
Agreed. This is also true for other uses of TeaTreeOil as well. It can be very damaging to the scalp if it is used as a prolonged treatment there as well.
I struggled with Rosacea and dry eyes for years, the only thing that worked for me was ivermectin cream. My skin is finally clear and my dry eye is so much better. Dry eye still creeps up now and then. Throw away the mascara tube the second you see it coming back .

I had this. I went to A&E it was so bad. My eyelids was in pain puffed up and my eye was dry and burning with conjuvitis and I had no idea what was the cause. I had difficulties opening my left eye. In the morning I had hard time opening it. The doctor examined my eye and explained to me that it's the demodex mite causing it they can get under the eyelid and cause all of this. He gave me antibacterial and anti inflammatory ointment for the eye and eye drops to keep it moisturised. He suggested me to also go and get tea tree oil, it drives out any remaining mites from the eyelid. Also I put wet warm compress on the eyelids and massage them gently as it crushes the dead mite inside the eyelids allowing their dust to come out through the tear glands slowly resolving the problem. Takes a few days to have it resolved and clear up.

I was diagnosed with that and told to use the Systane wipes to wash my eyelids. It worked really well. I'm not sure if I would want to get tea tree oil anywhere near my eyes, as it really stings on my skin.
What works for me is colloidal silver spray and organic castor oil. I use the colloidal silver if it looks like it might be coming back, just 1 spray onto the lashes but use castor oil every evening. Works brilliantly but is not a total cure. Every month or so the colloidal silver stops it before it becomes a bother. 🙂
If these demodex are mites , one thing ive noticed about mites in gardens that they quickly become immune to pesticides, so what ive noticed is if you treat for mites with a pesticide you need to hit them a day or two later with an entirely different pesticide and it usually wipes them out. , since these are on the body you probably can only use certain things but if you use basically the one two punch like with pesticides you might have greater success. So maybe tea tree oil one time and something else a day or two later.
Use diatomaceous earth in the garden to kill mites or other bugs that eat fruit. Spray or powder but only when there is no flowers. You don’t want to kill bees. Protect your eyes from DE powder by wearing glasses.
The Body Shop has a tea tree oil 'foaming' soap. Excellent for daily use. This is a serious issue for us older folks. I have certainly seen many people with this guck around their eyelid bases.
Thanks so much for this treatment analysis! In 60 yeaes, have NEVER had an eye doctor who ever took me seriously about my eye issues...drives me so crazy, i pull my eyelashes out. @@mettejensen8653 essentially the theory is that changes in the gut microbiome cause the make up of sebum to change. Sebum is what the mites feed on. Causing a population explosion. These mites have no anus, they just die, and when they die bacteria in their guts infect the pore, causing acne, redness, and many more complications. There may well be an autoimmune issue too, caused by both changes in the gut biome, and a leaky gut. Processed foods that contain emulsifiers are are a probably cause, as are other chemical stabilisers. I have found that a change in diet to that which contains no bread, low dairy or no dairy, just greens and chicken, low fat, low oils helps enormously. Lack of vitamin A foods too. There are loads of papers out there discussing the role mites, rosacea, acne and the gut microbiome have on your health. The paper I read was from 2012. But I can’t find it now. Just Google those search terms.

Probably because your immune system is weakened. Many seniors get way more affected by this "condition" because their bodies can't keep the mites in check so an over abundance of them cause issues - rosacea, eyes, hair loss, etc. We always have some of them on our skin but we keep in controlled through youth.
Or just put Castor oil on your eye lids. Rub into all hair follicle. The Castor oil improves your sight at the same time. You can put Castor oil right into your eyes to breakdown the film of cataracts.

Castor oil works great! Helps lashes grow healthy and strong without parasites, and even reduces wrinkles. Non-toxic too!
Lol
Thanks so much for sharing....wouldn't have thought to shampoo my eyelids!😁 will definitely try it tho as optrex dry eye solution not really helping.
Just happy to help, i just know it helped me and i have a good optometrist that gave me this advise due to cost, he told me he could sell me other products but $20-$30 a bottle when baby shampoo was just $10 and last for months...goodluck with it and i hope u all get relief...

I’ve known about the Demodex mites for a long time, but I didn’t know there was a way to get rid of them. So thanks for the information 👍🏻🥰‼️
The best treatment I used was Selsun blue 1 percent selenium sulfide. Wash my face with it, works like a charm. I no longer have rosacea outbreaks.
selenium is a rare element that is essential for humans most humans are Selenium deficient which could be why the older you get the higher odds you will get the mites. Selenium from brazil nuts are best source how many people do you know how eat brazil nuts
Have you been to France? They also don't use deoderant, the girls don't shave their legs or armpits and they eat frogs and pidgeons.
And they let the migrants burn down Notre Dame.

PAZ from Chiapaz, Mexico

castor oil has helped my dry eyes tremendously!!!!!
I've been using castor oil. My eye doctor was surprised how good my eyes looked at last cleaning and asked what I was doing. It's always given my good eyelashes and eyebrows growth too. I put on eyes then sit with heat om eyes.
I say just use good old sea salt boil the kettle put the salt and water in bowl let it cool a bit get cotton wool pad your good to go! Feels very refreshing too! Your welcome.☮️❤️🤗
That sounds Good to me !
You are such a sport for demonstrating on yourself! Mites are nasty, ugh! I once found a mynah nest where the fledglings were killed by mites, the poor babies!
Oh wow! How did you know since the mites are not visible?
Mites cause severe skin problems so birds skin would be unhealthy with lack of feather growth

I’m so confused! My eye doctor hasn’t recommended any of these, going to your other video, Thanks so much. Why do Doctors all say different things!
This is really useful. I’m only 22 and have. Really affects me. And makes me self conscious of my red eyes
I have been suffering with blepharitis for well over 2 years. It sucks! So ty for the info.
Omg!! I finally know what I have got. I can feel them moving. My lashes have been falling out . I have tried blephasol and a cream but they are not helping. Now I know, thank you
Blephasol is unuseful!
Tto foam saved my life. (Naviblef ) Closed eyes massagging eyelids and eyelashes for 60-80 seconds let sit then rinse. Twice a day for 2 months.
Cured my blepharitis, helped with dry eyes and mgd. I keep using it now once a day letting sit 1 minute. Its perfect for long period of use because tto is only 0,002 good even for children

The dangers of tea tree oil are way understated here. If the concentration is too high it can cause serious damage to the eyes.
Agreed. This is also true for other uses of TeaTreeOil as well. It can be very damaging to the scalp if it is used as a prolonged treatment there as well.
Castor oil on lashes....side benefit? Eyelashes grow like crazy!
Thank you!!!!!

Excellent. I am experiencing these horrible symptoms at night mainly when these microscopic microorganisms decide to come out and play! So annoying..need to see my primary physician for fast relief.

I believe it. That stuff got rid of my yearslong arthritic thumb joint pain in less than 2 weeks
I've been using Castor Oil. It has helped eliminate my dry eye issues. Still struggling with Blepharitis. Although it's getting better.
Ditto!!

Thanks so much for this treatment analysis! In 60 yeaes, have NEVER had an eye doctor who ever took me seriously about my eye issues...drives me so crazy, i pull my eyelashes out.
Have never been able to wear mascara, or other eye makeup. Only relief i ever get is washing face multiple times a day.

People with a lot of them have more issues, usually too many is caused by leaky gut. University of Belfast did a paper on it.
link please. I agree about underlying issues.

We have all sorts of creatures that live on us and inside of us and eat our crud. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Probably because your immune system is weakened. Many seniors get way more affected by this "condition" because their bodies can't keep the mites in check so an over abundance of them cause issues - rosacea, eyes, hair loss, etc. We always have some of them on our skin but we keep in controlled through youth.
I suspect people don't shower and shampoo hair every day so they get these.
