Oh Napoelon... Hero or Tyrant? Liberator or Criminal? Madman or Genius? Was true glory that?. For me Yes, Napoleon was an hero of liberty, giustice, honor, he fought against mad Kings and liberated all of Europe. Italy was liberated by Napoleon so Polony. Did so much for entire humanity. After Napoleon, absolut monarchy wasn't possible anymore, anywhere else. Today, Russians says that if the tsarist regime ended, that's because of Napoleon ideas expension (even after his death). He reformed all the newborn french republic. Made institutions strong enough to endure and survive the return of the monarchy.

fun fact: waterloo wasn't commanded by Napoléon because he had a sickness that remived his moving ability, so he couldn't command on the battlefield, so he gave commands to his maréchal Neil, that did major mistakes that led to the loss, especially sending the cavalerie lourde after british because he thought they were retiring. He did a lot of error Napoléon wouldn't have done
Napoléon actually didn't care and still wanted to go, his Marshals forced him to stay.
