Simon, your farmhouse has so much potential and I am sure it is going to be so cozy when it is done! It has so much character already....bit by bit you are bringing it back to life! ❤ Well done Yanis for retrieving the drone lol
Great to see Simon has returned, look forward to his farm house renovation. You have a great friend in Phil for his work on the classic Range Rover. So relieved Yannis successfully rescued the drone😮
What an amazing teacher you are, Simon! I have always wanted to know about tools and hardware and construction, but it's still not terribly encouraged for women where I live, and frankly sometimes the men I try to talk to are neither patient nor articulate. You are both. I love the time you take to show close-ups, how pieces fit together, how tools function, even details like the aluminum core in the pipe and what its advantages are. I wish I had a brother like you to teach me.
Phil has so many skills (as do most of Billy’s family and friends). I follow Phil as well because he is another interesting and charismatic character 👍🏻🤗
Thanks for the off convent content.. Thanks for protecting Michael with all the scaffolding. I was a bit worried the first day he was put in that harness. Give everyone a good hug for me.
Why an elderly, retired musician and artist like me finds videos about building restoration so interesting, I have no clue, but I do. In a world of such relentless negativity, you folks are so refreshingly enthusiastic and positive! It’s a pleasure to spend time with you. Oh, and wouldn’t I love to play Michelangelo on that chapel ceiling! 😁
I had to giggle when Phil told Billy off😂. Why is it we have to touch when we know its still wet? Yannis was brilliant climbing up the tree. As usual you all work together to make a brilliant vlog and we are all enjoying following so thank you.
You all worked SO hard this week! I love Simon's house! I hope you really did invite Phil - lol! And of course - huge shout out to Yanis for being brave and climbing the tree to get the drone!
Thanks for the extra episode Billy and Alex. That was fun. Thank you Simon for showing us around again.Well done Yannis for getting the drone back. Hello Phill always watch your channel too. Kisses for lightning. All the best.
A little nerve wracking watching Yannis climb that tree. He is such a hard worker and willing to do anything asked of him. Simon always great with explaining how things work. Billy, such a generous person - supporting all his friends’ endeavors. Maine USA
Billy I own a garage and watch phils channel. My husband used to restore cars .but no more as he died 5 months ago. It is nice to see old things bought back to life again. Nice to see what Simon will be doing to his place. Good Yanis got the drone he is a hero. Loved watching ❤
Good job with retrieving the drone, Yanis. You always seem to do what is needed. I am sure that Billy appreciates all your hard work. Glad Simon’s roof held.
"This is not sketchy at all" 😂 Oh, I was so afraid it was going to turn into a why-women-live-longer-than-men meme 😮 Kudos to Yanis for being such a good sport about it and rescuing the drone. Glad Simon's home renovation is progressing. The two months will go so fast.
Please guardian angels, don’t let Yanis end up like Humpty Dumpty 😯🫣 Well that was a nail-biter! Glad everything worked out. Excited to see the projects at Simon’s house! It’s such a beautiful place.
Well done Yannis for climbing the tree and rescuing the drone. Simons farm house looks like it's in a lovely area of France. Can't wait to see the Range Rover once completed.
Loved seeing Simon’s farm house! It has so much potential! Phil is ding such good work on the RR! He’s more like a miracle worker! What great friends you have Billy!❤
Simon needs his own channel. He's should get Ryan to film/edit on his property at weekends and in exchange help Ryan with his renovation. Simon would do well with a channel teaching building skills, he's such a natural on camera and great at explaining. Yanis needs a pay rise!
Simon you are going to have a lovely finished home! You know, I for one thank ya for all your explanations. Alex you need a shout out for your expertise for sure. Then there’s my fave , Yannis! What a happy camper😎
I was hoping to get another look at the main floor in Simon's farm house from Alex's camera eye. Maybe next time? LOL teasing Phil with going to the pub - would that have been Phil's pub - even funnier!! Shout out to Gwen, miss seeing her on camera, hope all you men are getting those rooms ready for her at the Chateau. We haven't seen an update on the ceiling in ages - hint hint hint.
I think I might have skipped a few heartbeats with Yannis up in the top of that tree. Wow!! He’s an amazing man. So happy he’s on the ground safely. The new roof and windows look great. You must be so happy to see it looking perfect, Simon. The inside of the cottage will be so beautiful. I love stone houses. Phil’s garage is very spacious. That’s quite a huge project. I hope you took him to the pub with you….I know you did. Have fun. Snowstorm here today and brutally cold. xx
Omg Yannis the hero yet again. Lol. He's fearless and someone you'd want on your team. Simon, those velux windows make such a massive difference! It's really satisfying watching your progress at the farmhouse.
Thanks for a weekend vlog Billy 😄well done Yanis. I love Simon’s farmhouse and look forward to seeing the renovations . Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone 👏👏❤❤❤xxx
You’re a brave young man Yanis. So relieved that you returned safely. You guys are an amazing team, Billy and Simon and Alex. Your filming Alex is so beautiful. Can’t wait to see Simon’s progress on his lovely old home. Thanks for explaining the crimper. What a handy tool. Your Rover is looking a lot better Billy than originally. Phil’s doing a great job.
Yannis, you are a great sport. Phil, you are a wonderful friend to help Billy out with the rover. Simon, you are a real gentleman and teacher. Alex , your filming is always awesome. Billy, it is very generous to help Simon out with the piping, etc. You are all a great bunch of workers and friends.
Good to see Simon's house. The roof from last summer looks like it held up! And good to see Phil's garage and the work he is doing on the Range Rover! It amazes me the enthusiasm that Yannis has in everything he does....even climbing really sketchy trees! Hope your Dad is taking a much needed day off!
Always nice too see Simon’s place, and the help with materials and assistance Billy provides. Of course, Yanis is a natural at being in the right place at just the right time!
Yannis was brilliant at climbing the tree. Farmhouse will be lovely when it’s done Simon, you are so good at presenting on the video. Excellent post as always Billy, always look forward to seeing progress on old buildings
Very scared when Yanis climbed up the ladder and to the top of the tree. He is fearless, thankfully safely back on the ground. Stiff drink needed for all.😮🙏🏻🤗
Yannis saved the drone !!! A tree climbing hero ❤ 🎉 !!! Simon , you have a lovely property. I look forward to seeing all the improvements to come ! Billy - you have so many irons in the fire - it’s amazing how you keep everything going !!! ❤
Hi Billy- yes with your drone- as Bugs Bunny use to say don't forget to take your left turn to Albuquerque (New Mexico, USA) :D , glad that the drone is damage free. Note to self- avoid trees and power lines. :D
If the "Rover" came with the Convent it will be a thrill to have it return in a "serviceable" fashion. Great fun. I'm off to the "chronicles" channel. I am telling you Yannis is a brave man...glad he came back to Earth safe and sound. Simon's cottage will be perfectly charming and beautifully built. Having a bathroom will be lovely.
The rover is a project bought years ago at the chateau it was stored and worked on by Billy there only moved to convent last year as better storage there and allowed developments at the chateau.
The tool room is adjacent to the chapel, as an outcrop into the courtyard. It's a gorgeous staircase indeed. I don't think we ever got to see the upstairs, but there's a door leading to a landing connected to the outside spiral staircase
If you look at the video of December 29, with the extensive tour, around the 15:09 mark Billy points out the sacristy. The downstairs of it is now the tool room
Great vlog Billy, lots of content. Phil’s doing a thankless task with the Range Rover, so don’t thank him. LoL. Simons place is on the move and sooner rather than later. Yannis, wow, no boundaries. Stay well all.
Billy,Yanis,Simon,Phil, and Alex my darlings. Watching Yanis retrieve the drone was scary. I’m happy for Simon getting the help he needs. Phil is very mechanical and able to repair the vehicle. Well darlings until Monday. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🙏🕊🌈🌞😇❤️👍🌹🇺🇸
This is why I really love these people. Not only do they share their knowledge, their tools and equipment they share their love as well.
Simon is such a gentle soul. He has the sweetest spirit!
Yannis was awesome scrambling up that tree. Unbelievable. He needs a raise for rescuing that drone!
Simon, your farmhouse has so much potential and I am sure it is going to be so cozy when it is done! It has so much character already....bit by bit you are bringing it back to life! ❤ Well done Yanis for retrieving the drone lol
Yannis deserves a huge bonus $$$ for retrieving the drone from the tree. He is amazing and fearless!
Great to see Simon has returned, look forward to his farm house renovation. You have a great friend in Phil for his work on the classic Range Rover. So relieved Yannis successfully rescued the drone😮
Can't get enough of Simon. Love watching his segments. He is such an inspiration!
Love the quote: you restore things because you love them. Beautifully said.
'You restore things because you love them ' what an insight to Billy's motivations.
To be fair, Phil said it, but I think the two of them agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment.
No, they aren't going to Concourse qualify this beast?
I truly enjoy Simon's short tutorials on what this tool is and how it works.
@2:06 big smile from Yanis, love that shot..he is a good, hardworking chap.
Edited: at 8 minutes.. Yanis saves the day again, good job mate..
I clocked that too made me smile Yanis is an asset to the team that’s for sure
What an amazing teacher you are, Simon! The cinematography looks so good every single episode
What would you do without Yannis....he is like a mountain goat. And also not afraid of hard work!! ❤
Love Yannis’ sense of humour (tree top “crack on” was the best lol) and his enthusiasm.
Nice to see Simon’s place again and to see Phil.
Do you know how many people heald their breath when Yannis climbed the tree? 😮
The whole nation 😂😂😂. I felt sick until his feet were on the ground 😂
“Let’s Crack On!”, he says. Amazing!

Yanis deserves a bonus for that heroic rescue, or at least a pint of something he fancies.
I don't think he drinks. Maybe a pint of Pepsi.
Always nice too see Simon’s place, and the help with materials and assistance Billy provides. Of course, Yanis is a natural at being in the right place at just the right time!

I don’t recall the beautiful staircase when getting the tools!Awesome.
Does that go to the other apartments. We didn't get to see that part of the convent on the recent tour.
The tool room is adjacent to the chapel, as an outcrop into the courtyard. It's a gorgeous staircase indeed. I don't think we ever got to see the upstairs, but there's a door leading to a landing connected to the outside spiral staircase

Simon explains things so well that you find yourself fascinated by pipes you never imagined you could be fascinated about 🤣. I was riveted.
Amazing Job Yannis you are really an important asset to the team.would really like to see your story someday on the channel.
Very happy New Year to you Simon ,wishing all the best for your restoration , .
