I have a friend that used to have an indoor painting business and she always said that the most important part of the job was the caulking, and that it did take practice to apply it properly. She called it “putting the eyeliner on” because it made such a difference in the finished look of the job. Well done Simon, you put the eyeliner on beautifully!😬

Billy, you should get someone who knows plants and historical gardens to come and have a root around. I'm sure the nuns would have had medicinal gardens with herbs and other plants that look like wild plants. I dont know if anything would still be growing, but you never know? Please have someone come and cut the bramble and ivy (by the fruit trees) right away because nesting season starts earlier than you may think, and it shouldn't be cut in spring. I think Simon is right that if the trees are cleaned off and trimmed back, they may come back great. You never know, you may have some very old heritage varieties! BUT please consult someone about what time of year to cut the fruit trees, apple and pear are different than plum and cherry trees. Start watching for bulb type flowers to come up soon, my Snowdrops are coming up in one part of the garden! Hooray, spring is coming!

A friend of mine used to go to a boarding school in Switzerland and played the pipe organ in town. He said there was a small mirror on the organ so he could see what the priest was doing and know when to play the organ. Maybe that's what the small circle is on your organ.

For efficiency"s sake when you're cooking, the last thing you need is to be trekking that distance between the range, sink and fridge, plus having to navigate around that gorgeous but huge and imposing island. The fridge really should go where you're closing up the cabinet (even if not recessed).

Install a row of heating lamps above it and you can even set the little sterno burner cans for warming food right on the surface. Another thought is you will need power outlets on the island. As you cannot run power through the floor make a place for an EcoFlow inside the cabinets that plugs into the wiring going to all the outlets on the island. Cheers mate.

Billy you need to show Yannis how to paint wood - big long strokes with the grain along the whole length of the board.

I love the serenity as each of the three men are involved in their individual tasks. Alex showing us close-ups of their hands repeating moves with grace and precision. Gentleman Simon explaining his tips and techniques is always welcome and informative. Such small graceful motions make such a big difference to the appearance when you step back and view the whole.
I was actually surprised that Billy didn’t already have a proper brush for cutting in, but Simon is happy now. Alex does the most smooth edits, and marrying of music to image…these a profession grade instructional videos, a pure joy to watch. Watching these men work is like watching a master flowing through the movements of tai chi.🖤🇨🇦

Love seeing Yanis Cracking On with his own projects! He has clearly learned from the best. I predict that he will be in demand in the future😊.
Simon is a perfectionist, & his work shows it. Stove looks amazing, Billy. Such a great addition. Mick did incredibly work in the garden. I remember it from the beginning. Some drone footage of the whole property would be appreciated.

An old fashioned trolley might work well in the kitchen, to take things out of the fridge and storage bring items to the counter for preparation. 😉
