The man leave skyrim being an outstanding warrior and a really powerful wizard. I wonder how the story would go for Lucien after traveling with the Dragonborn.
Bards will definitely sing about him. Dude will go from inserting his name and personality into existing hero songs to receive his very own. Also if you tell him you won't kill Paarthurnax but then attack the dragon, Lucien will leave your service and fight you. A more depressing end to the story, but shows how Lucien grew into a hero willing to stand for his believes despite the odds.
Joseph might have implanted a condition for him to not use aoe spells when you are engaged in melee combat to avoid Lucien accidentally killing you. Or he simply ran out of magicka.
Have you been helping him develop his magic? Training his magicka and mage skills when you can, teaching him new spells, and forcing him to rely on magic?
this just goes to show how much work Joseph Russel puts into Lucien, he has voice acted so many lines just for learning spells
when he learned the lightning cloak i half expected him to mock ulfric stormcloak.

I didn't know which spells he could learn so I just took all of the spell tomes. 😂

lol only moment i felt unsurely uncomfortable is when the thalmor in the bg lol just staring holes thru you lol as your teaching him bound dagger.
wish i could teach lucien lightning storm master spell he would mow all to the ground or conjure demora lord that would be really cool

His skill level must be at least equal to the spell level.
So I need to get his magic up before can give him more spells

@@BigHatLoganGaming I did, it wasn't helping, I never even once trained his other stats, only mana and destruction etc
Also giving him mana potions helps the running out of mana issue - he actively uses them from his inventory when he needs to.
