Maybe it doesn't get mad, but rather scared. You can hear a heartbeat sound near the piston-like part everytime it stomps the ground, so when it stomps faster, this heartbeat also gets faster. Its speed increases really quick, like the heart rate of a panicked person, desperately trying to get rid of Agent 8 from under it.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. It’s so disappointing that they couldn’t give us more than three bosses for the entire campaign. It gets so repetitive having to fight the same three bosses over and over as you keep climbing the Spire with all the different Palettes.
It didn’t feel like that at first, but after playing SO for a few weeks and having the boss fights down pat, they (and honestly Side Order in general) feel kinda lacking in content. Still fun thou, and we’ve been able to squeeze more out of this game mode with self imposed challenges like hackless runs or only using ink mines.
Honestly I find this very creative mainly because I figured out that asynchronous rondo has this attack anytime you go under him after me going a bit too far under him I didn't know that he gets faster and faster to the point it's impossible to dodge I also didn't know that you could technically defeat him like that not exactly because you did have ink under him which I'm assuming you got the poison ink palette on so to be expected
Yes I had poison ink. Also pearl did throw a burst bomb. Funny thing is I found out about it when I tried to hide under it during its sting ray attack.
@@Honorary_Shark yeah I also realized by hiding under him but not enough to where he starts using the wave breaker you can actually completely avoid all of his bomb attacks and stingray
@@Zora.pk76 It only does the wave breaker attack if you're under the lowest layer. Leave the smallest one intact and you get a massive safe zone from everything but the searchlight.
Funny thing If you never break the smallest segment this doesn't happen, you'd need to get under that smallest segment to have it happen and that's not easy So you *can* camp under it just that you don't have to break the lowest segment.
I kinda wish da bosses will bit harder Like asynchronous rondo would merger with octo oven and spam some snipers and missiles on the way up and you have to pakour through the rondo within a certain time limit or it will throw you off in order to splat certain layers
I still think going under him is the easiest way to dodge the black lasers. Obviously if you don't stay there after the attack ends, he does not start spamming the red waves that quickly.
I can’t decide. OE was amazing and so much fun, in some ways it introduced a new campaign that’s different from S1 and S2 story mode. But at the same time I miss entering the tea kettles and diving right into a level without having to pay/farm credits. I just wish the levels would be a mix of both S1 and OE.
I hate how all the bosses in side order are just glorified mob spammers except for elusive bounder, and even it spawns enemies if it hits a bumper. So much wasted potential...
If i had a nickel for evrytime Nintendo used an EMP for circular boss in a genre. Id have two nickels. Which isn't alot but its weird it happened twice right?

it genuinely saddens me that there's only 3 random bosses, they're so cool but once you learn each one, none of them are particularly difficult.
Missed opportunity to add more bosses. They could have made, let’s say 5 bosses, that way there’s more variety instead of the 2/3 we fight
They also sing :>

"Deadly Dance Hall" on rigorous mode would be like
bros playing jump rope of death

it really was the definition of fuck around and find out
And I did >:]
Pearl was tired of 8 fucking around so she obliterated it with a singke burst bomb
Dunno why she was so tired. It’s not like she’s the one jumping over it’s sound waves.
fun fact: only the lit up layers need to be broken, so if you never destroy the lowest layer, the boss wont be able to do wave spam
Ooo. I knew about the first one, the lit up layers (thanks to Squid School) but I didn’t know about the other thing. Thanks
Asynchronous Rondo probably: how f$@king elaborate do we have to make this fight *inhail* GET DOWN HERE
Luckily it didn't start a singing battle or you would be done for
You got Pearl for that.
As a self proclaimed deadly dance hall god, I love that they added this

50/50 pearl might have thrown a bomb
Seems like she did, based on the drone gauge
