Thanks for the informative video. One place I would like to recommend for visitors is Castel Mimi winery in Bulboaca. I am an American who works there as a tour guide. The winery is a remarkable place, not just for its wine, but for the results of its five-year restoration project. We get a lot of compliments from our foreign visitors, so, if you speak English, put it on your "to do" list. If you visit, ask for Edward.
Great videos! Here a Costarrican guy who got married with a Moldova woman currently visiting Moldova, great videos Julieta and yes, 100% accurate!! Hope more people could speak english in Moldova with visitors. Pura vida, Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Guys, visiting Moldovan household is definitely awesome, remember one of recent bald and bankrupt's videos? Where he drinks some wine and samogon with babushkas, and when he leaves, babushkas give him some wine to home?
Could you please do more videos about , the transport , the good restaurants in Moldova , and as well about how to rent an apartment in Moldova. Please please please , I’m thinking about moving there for studying
Hello Djulieta. I love your youtube chanel very helpfull. I will be visiting Chișinău on the 27th of March for one week. I am from Ireland but live and work in Italy. Have you any Tips while staying in and traveling around Chișinău . places of interest, sites, or restaurants. Love to here back from you and what your suggestions might be. Many thanks David Swift.
I'm planning to come to Moldova in august for 2-3 days. I really enjoyed your video about public transport. Can you maybe do other videos about airport, train station, things to see even if you are without friends from there, safeness, cost, best areas in Chisinau and no go zone? Thank you :D
There is'n such thing in Chisinau as a "no go zone". The whole city is safe, as far as i know, i have been there 3 times, and was going al around the city, without any safety concerns (also outskirts like Botanica, Ciocana, Riscani etc. where ok).
I came here through recommended videos. My husband and I were in Moldova last summer. Why didn't I see this video or your channel before we went? If I ever return to Moldova, I'm contacting you. I'd love to have a local as a guide. By the way, great video and suggestions.
I’m so fascinated with Moldova, I’d love to visit it. Is there a specific weekend in the summer to go? Do y’all have any major festivals? Is there a weekend everyone parties? I heard y’all have a lot of wineries.
I'm going back this summer! Can't wait! For me Moldova is the perfect size, perfect intensity, and it's beautiful and everythong is complicated. Love it! Thanks for the tips! Yes yes yes recommend a real gospodad? :D :D :D
As beautiful as snow is, I will never be travelling to Moldova during January! Off season yes. When I visited, I stumbled across the WW2 memorial in Chisinau. We Americans forget that many other countries sacrificed as well fighting the Nazis. So many names of young men engraved on the walls.
I personally think her accent is trash. She is trying to pull a British Accent, but she fails miserably. I stopped the video after like 2 min. Couldn't bear hearing that accent
I’m actually thinking about coming to Moldova to get my masters. I moved to USA when I was 7. 27 now and want to reconnect with my roots and get a masters while I’m at it. I also have family there. Maybe find the one haha who knows. I will also document my transition from New York to Moldova Chișinău.
farceadentus where should I know it from? 😃 I shall recall the statistics office, but I guess the % is quite ok among the young people and awful among the above 40 years old people)))
Living in Moldova with Djulieta well if you mix with your local folk, you should have an idea of how many people speak English. For example here in the UK I know most British people do not speak foreign languages. 90% of English people just speak English.
@@farceadentus Among young people it's quite common, but older people only speak russian and moldovan. Also there is a sizeable russian and ukrainian community in bigger cities like Balti, Chisinau, and they tend to speak russian better than other languages. Also in the southern part of the country is the Gagauz Autonomus Region where ethnic gagauz people live, who speak gagauz (a langauge related to turkish) and russian, but not much moldovan. So in general russian is understood by almost everyone. A basic russian helps a lot, as almost everyone (also most of the younger residents) speaks russian. But you can be ok, with english also.
Balázs Rusznyák thanks for the info pal. I’m planning to visit maybe in the summertime. I only speak English and a little Spanish. I hope I will get on fine in communicating with at least young people then! 🙂
I now walk two months in Ukraine and in a few weeks I go around Moldova FB kayak cobber I walk with my walkingtrailer..so if you see me on the road...just say Helloooooo
Trust me there's nothing to see in MD. If you need proofs please go look for * Bald and bankrupt* channel. British guy traveled around all former USSR countries and came across that it's worst place to be. It's a best place for vegans in the summer though. Fruits and vegetables are in abundance.
My mum is from Moldova and when she married my dad their wedding lasted for a whole week!
Seems like fun ;)
Luis R. They know how to party 🎉
@@luisr.6543 that was kinda normal
Isn’t that normal?
Nicee! Do you speak Romanian?

I love your village, it seems so quiet and the people in Moldova have a very natural lifestyle, I could live there no problems! ❤👍🏽

Luca Savio I will try to)) train station sounds too big for a country like Moldova))

A piece of advice: adaugă subtitrare atunci când pronunți nume / destinații turistice / etc.

So cool to see the positive side of Moldova :)
