I appreciate your comment about real life interfering. I had to go afk just as a match was starting last month- my son had fractured a bone in his foot previously and still needed help getting around and doing things about the house. It sucked, but like you said- it's a video game. Real life takes priority.
New to the channel (introduced by the MW5 content, stayed for the MWO), and I have to say, thanks so much for your comments on respecting teammates and enemies alike! You're absolutely spot on that, without the community of players in this game, we wouldn't be able to have fun at all. It's frustrating when you have someone afk, dc, or just doing something stupid, but matches go quick, so it's easy enough to move on and get into a new one. Having watched the community in games like League of Legends turn into a toxic mire of blame and insult, I really appreciate that MWO is (generally) one of the friendlier that I've seen.
@@swimant0 Honestly, I think it may have ended the age old Hellbringer/Timberwolf Laser Vomit Feud. The Timberwolf has always been more powerful and cooler, but the better hardpoints and ECM of the Hellbringer put it in the lead. Now though? Try a Timberwolf-S with the BH's right Torso and the 8 Energy Hardpoint layout. 2 ER LLs and 6 ER MLs with 25 DHS, ECM, TC-1, a JJ, a Light Active Probe and only a measily 2 points of armor strip, and you got yourself something that can widely out range a Hellbringer with near identical firepower, match it in speed and ECM, and completely outclass it in the utility department with better Armor, Sensors, Cooling, and a JJ. All the Hellbringer has over the Timberwolf is its hardpoint locations, but if you load the 2x ER-LLs in the left torso, you can get them higher than the cockpit, which makes laser sniping a breeze, and further diminishes the Hellbringer's last real advantage.
You can sort of do that! Take a Mist Lynx, reduce armor to 1 on every location, then add an ECM, a small laser, an LMG and an SMR-2 with half a ton of ammo. Actually, it will be still stronger than an Elemental, but you sure won't feel overpowered :D
It is so good to see your face demonstrating mechs in MWO. I know you are probably tired of it, but you are very entertaining. I hope you will be sure to include us in your content whenever it is fun for you.
I've had a 6 x MPL Phoenix Hawk build for a while now, and I like it. Its speed and the short exposure time with the low duration make it pretty survivable (if I don't play like an idiot), and that 36-point alpha strike cycles fast.

I was wondering, as I enjoy taking your builds out on the field, is there a reason you don't leave import codes on your videos? XD Or maybe I'm old and blind and you do post them, I just don't see them. XD It would really help! It's sometimes really hard to stare at the blurry screen and figure out what's in each slot exactly, and get the correct armor values in there.
Also this DWF Is somewhat undergunned. Run the PRIME side torsos and arms and you can run 2 Gauss, 2 ERLL, and 6 ERML. You don’t have as many JJ but you have one hell of an alpha.
Yeah, but having the Gauss so far apart and under slung on the arms is hot trash. Try the single ballistic right torso for better weapon grouping and the quad Energy Left arm for extra structure for your left flank; Put 2 Heavy LL and 2 ER MLs in the left arm, 1 Gauss and 4 ER MLs in the right arm, and the last Gauss in the right torso. Now you can peek around right corners with both Gauss and 4 ER MLs, and peek around left corners with 2x H-LL 2x ER-ML.
Can't say I've been having any problems with Gauss convergence with the arms, and I'd rather have the Prime side torsos for the 10% total heat gen because the alpha is incredibly hot.
@@Nopenotyou It's even more heat intensive with Heavy LLs, but the damage per heat is significantly more efficient. But besides that, I like to be able to peek around corners without sending half my firepower into a wall, and that 5% bonus isn't gonna unlock a second alpha on the follow up (I'm using the Prime Left Torso as well). If anything, it'll allow you to alpha a split second sooner, but with ER LLs, you were gonna do that anyway; you're just gonna generate a little less heat to put out 14 less direct damage.
Just want to pipe up, don't often comment but I did like to watch Mr'B vids of MWO even before I started playing again recently (thanks to MW5). I played years ago when it was beta I think, and left as I kinda sucked at it and back then the community was a bit poor as I recall (people blaming each other and shouting at each other etc over comms). Coming back several years later and how things have changed, so much for the better - the community seems mature and cool now which is great. Anyways, just wanted to say I hated the stock DWF-C(S) and failed miserably every time trying to play it (I actually like the stock warden Timberwolf in contrast), so I left this untouched after a few failed attempts at playing it - not to be deterred for long however I looked up if Mr.B had a build for it, and sure enough we have this vid - I copied it shamelessly, and not expecting much tbh since I was pretty turned off on Direwolves at this point I've now had a few games with it... and it is a MONSTER! This is a crazy good build, I love it and so much fun, even if it took me half the 1st match with it to work out how to fire the Gauss (hold button down but not for too long) - I think the Gauss killed 3 in my first match once I worked it out properly (had to listen to the sound prompts and get used to the speed of it). So Thanks Baradul - this is great - also taught me you can buy omnipods from different variants which I hadn't worked out before hah.

Another really good guass dire wolf is 2 guass 4 Er large it’s all right stacked on the c it farms really nice super good at holding a push off and nice damage soaker

During downloads, a "young cyborg" is not able to wait for their completion, just thinking or looking at the background screen - it ALWAYS "Alt-tabed" in order to dive into several social networks at once, click something and send something to someone, in parallel choosing music and dissolving srach somewhere in the comments. It is useless to call on such subjects to some kind of ethics, these are computer-brought up ghouls with a tightly "cyborgized psyche", for which human manners and values are often unfamiliar. I think you can try to define tendentious criteria that can lead a young person to the pathological state of a "young cyborg" - this is hyperactivity combined with techno-addiction. And you probably did not think how many such "mental cripples" are synthesized "right now", completely giving themselves up to immersion in the vastness of the Internet 😏. Time changes the face of human civilization, but can a human still remain a human in the end ? Or are people stagnating in stoned cyborgs sticking into digital phantasm? The question is open 😏...

I don't know if it is a meta, but 7 mpl worked fantastically for me on my Timby. I could easily eat the ghost heat.

I’m mostly seeing the TBR as either 2 LPL/5 ERML or 4xLPL. I’ve seen a couple of MPL spam versions but they aren’t as popular.
I prefer 2xHLLs/5xMPLs instead, it tears through back armor like a can-opener.
