People really have no idea what The Villages is like until they come and visit. You can get a very nice house, but if you’re moving here for the house, you can move anywhere. This place just offers so much more than anything I’ve ever seen in my years and travels.
Hi, Jerry and Linda! Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Your smiling faces and positive attitude always brighten my day. I am hoping to move there someday. Thank you for all of the information you provide. It's greatly appreciated.
We love love your show, Shame on you Bonnie!!!! (BE NICE!!!!) Life is to short. My GrandMother always told me if I don;t have anything nice to say, don;t say anything. Blessing to you both!!!!
Awesome show today, Linda & Jerry. Love the back drop full of pictures. Great idea. We'll, to us loyal followers, you are you tube stars to me. I give you credit, as you tubers. It's alot of time out of your days to put shows together that we get to watch & enjoy. Thank you for all you do. Have a blessed day.
This was a great show today. I enjoyed the photos of the Indiana house. Also, I appreciated Linda’s and Jerry’s comments discussing what they liked and didn’t like about their previous house in Indiana. Thank you for sharing that part of your life.
Super great show! We just finished watching it. Love the new technology with the background images changing. It really gives people a feel for life here in The Villages. So fun to see Linda and I at yoga together again. Love your shout out for us loving Collier as we do! And of course Al with Mike sharpening his gambling “skills”?😂 Regarding Bonnie, she could not be more wrong! You both are the most down-to-earth normal people we know as normal goes. Lol The only difference is having your fans approach you both to meet you as we did as well in the beginning.🥰
Happy anniversary! I know where i was that very day! Bridesmaid for a friend's wedding in Michigan. Sadly, their marriage didn't go the distance. I agree ...best neighborhood is where you live. Polo Ridge for us!
I always say the exact same thing “the best village in The Villages is your own” - every village has its own identity and charm, and something special to offer - I’m currently doing one golf cart ride per week in an objective to visit every single village. Spending time at the pools, rec centers, walking trails and any other sites in each and every village, as well as meeting and visiting with the villagers in that neighborhood - working my way alphabetically through every village - at the rate of one village per week should take me a total of a year and a half to complete.
I have lightning rods. It was the first thing i had installed when i got here. They are an amazing bit of technology! And i can enjoy the storms now without feeling like a target 🙂
Agree… may miss a little about this house but us,too have an acre with another garage out back- hubby’s home away from home. Taxes climbing and I am sick of it
I bought a TV house on my lifestyle visit earlier this month. Got home with so much to do to sell my current house. Boom 10 days of Covid isolation from the flight. Hopefully tomorrow is first negative test.
What a great video! Great photos of the grandkids playing and the lovely parade. We live in an awesome neighborhood and there are so many lovely and caring neighbors that we would never consider moving. Yes, Ron Clark is an awesome photographer who shares his beautiful photos on Facebook. Thank you Ron. And thank you Linda and Jerry! Another informative and fun filled video.
My daughter was in the Cabaret at the Sharon. She works for Sigpro. I'm going to be visiting in two weeks and I am looking forward to checking out the theater and the Villages.
Good morning L & J , we were driving to the auto train on Sat am from NJ. I put on your video to listen to in the car with my husband. He has never listened to you before and had a lot of chuckles . Looks like you have a new fan and listening to you kept the backseat driving down 😉 our next road trip will be up to TV to visit our friends and check on my brother’s house will definitely plug you in again .
Story: My Mother(affectionally) referred to as Momie... she was working on her book in the 70's. Tap, tap, tap and a crack resonated ..., inside her writing cove as she looked up..., "A 36" ball, sparkling rainbow of lights hover beside her for a period of 10 second." At 89 she still tells the story vividly. Sharing.
My first time watching. My sister wants me to move to Villages. FORGET Bonnie!!! (I'm being nice) you 2 are movie stars!!!!!! Bimge watching videos!! Great information from you 2!!❤❤ Thanku
Well hello...Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne.. great show 👌 Bonnie was just having a bad day. Bless her. Your non acting skills just get better and better, and WE appreciate all the hard work that goes into each and every video ❤
We are the oldest residents of Will villas in the village of Lake Denham. The rest of the residents in the Villa treat us like their parents. The biggest worry our own kids had was that we would have no help down here. After their first visit and seeing how our neighbors watched over us and gave any help we needed, they then agreed that we made the right choice to move to The Villages. 😁👍
Great show! Absolutely loved all of the graphics in the background. It made the show even more interesting to watch! A picture is worth 1000 words. Thanks for all you do. Looking forward to getting back to the villages very soon.
I just love your channel. ❤❤ I always look forward to Mondays, Thursdays or ANYDAY you two are sending out a new video. Thank you for all the work you do to entertain us! Jerry that blue shirt today is definitely your color! I hope to see you IF I EVER GET THERE from Georgia! 😂😂
About 12 years ago my house was hit by lightning. It blew out the garage door opener, all the computers, the TV, the AC, and some other things not coming to mind at the moment. Needless to say we got surge protection for the house. That was in NC, Florida is worse for lightening.
Great video. Loved the golf cart parade for your friend. Don’t like it when folks make negative comments about people they don’t know. You are movie stars in your own lives! Got the scramble. 🥰
Hey guys. Running all day. Finally a chance to sit and watch. Liked the interviews last Thursday. Our grandparents were grandparents. Cats and cookies. We as grandparents are as different as the day. The golf ⛳️ cart parade for Roger is so thoughtful. He sounds so appreciative and energetic. Speedy recovery to him. Great bubble wrap. I’m the queen of paper towel and don’t get streaks but my husband loves the microfiber cloths. Exactly Linda. Times change and 1-story homes are most desirable. Mexican food always a win 😋😋😋. Always get a kick out the sweet and salty. And can never forget Gizmo ❤. Great show as usual. Have a great week and see you Thursday 🤗
Great show. I think the 3 poles are the same as two poles. That path looks really wide and 2 poles probably doesn't block it enough. That parade for your friend was amazing. It shows what human kindness can do to ones spirit. I don't know him but still feels very heartwarming. Great segment Peter. Bonnie needs to relax a bit. You guys are definitely a significant that many of the people are finding and moving there. You guys are probably the most humble people we have ever met and you truly appreciate us all.
FYI, We were told when cleaning the windshield on our golf cart to only wipe left to right and vise versa. Never circular. It because of the material it's made of and it will scratch.
Thanks for another awesome video Jerry & Linda. Love the new back drops you’re inserting. You’re getting very good with the tecky stuff. You’ll have to give us a lesson or two sometime 😘
I was in The Villages from July 20-28. It did rain almost every day for about an hour, sometimes 2 hours. Fortunately, the rain usually held off until after 7 pm on the Historic side/Spanish Springs area. The water in the Southside neighborhood pool was quite warm. The water at Orange Blossom Country Club pool was cooler. I miss my pool time already. My retirement countdown clock now stands at 268 days from today...fingers crossed.
Hello Jerry and Linda, nice train, looks like so much fun in the pool with the grand kids. I don't blame you Linda because I don't like driving on the Turnpike either. The golf cart parade was awesome and I know it made his day. I am sorry to hear about all the lighting strikes and hope everyone is okay. Great video!!!
We like our Village of St Johns, great mixture of ages & snowbirds, FROGS & snowflakes. We are very happy here!! Like Peter Bernard’s hints!! We like Fiesta Grande but really adore Casa Agave. Their shrimp in a pineapple is off the charts delish! We second The Tracy is so great!!! We saw Scrooge there last December with mostly all young ladies cast & the sets were on wheels as they rolled them around!! Too neat!! We look forward to seeing more plays & shows there in the future!! We got the word jumble😄To us, we look forward to Mailbag Monday’s! So much we learn about!! Keep up the good work you two😍❤️😍❤️
Fiesta Grande is my favorite restaurant! I also get the Burrito's Deluxe. Good choice Jerry. I know you don't drink but their Margaritas are pretty good too. :) Great show!
Hi guys! GREAT show!!! House is STILL on the market, lowered the price AGAIN. If God is testing my patience, I can not figure out if I am passing or not!!! SEE you when we get there!!!
Aaaw, I loved that video of Gizmo❣️ I know you miss him cause I sure do!! Guess what, guys?Pennbrooke Fairways and probably The Plantations have many of the amenities that The Villages have. We don’t have a movie theater or polo, though. Really, the main difference is you can leave your individual village in your golf cart and your homes are more expensive. We have softball, basketball, tennis, pickle ball, horseshoes, many exercise classes, card games, billiards, line dancing, swimming pools, a library, a puzzle room, golf cart parades, support groups, veterans group, crafters, concerts, annual trash & treasure sale, quilt show, church service, country club with restaurant, 3 9-hole golf courses, etc. If I were to move to The Villages, it would be only because of the golf cart accessibility. It’s my understanding that as long as a 55+ community maintains the required percentage of 55+ homeowners needed to call it a 55+ community, there can be homeowners younger than 55 but not younger than 19. We have to complete a form every so often stating that we are 55+. You may not be movie stars, but I would consider you local celebrities that we all love❣️
Love it love it love it! I like the back drop pictures. You just keep stepping it up to be old folks. I enjoy every bit of your show so much. You give me hope till we get there. Bubble wrap section is so very helpful too. Keep on keeping on❤
Love you guys and your great shows. I look forward to watching a segment about lightening rods. As climate change intensifies I think everyone should think about this. Thanks again.
We got the puzzle puzzle puzzle pretty fast! Was a fun twist! 😊 Bruce is going to use Peter’s window advice, streaks drive him crazy! Looking forward to the whole house tour! Inside and out! We would like more info and pricing on lightning rod protection! 😮 We are planning a trip in the fall, 🍂 and it would be great to have Gizmo’s bench dedication party info far enough in advance that we could try to make it! ❤ You guys are great! Thanks for all you do! You are movie stars to us! 🎬🍿🤩
Great question about if you miss your old home. We are snowbirds in our home in upstate NY now and I am so happy. I am told my husband I don't want to go back, but I am sure when I am back in Oct, I will be ok
Great video today, thanks for posting 👍 That “Get Well” parade you posted was just such a kind and loving 🥰 gesture done for their sick neighbor - I was so touched 🎶 Hope he gets better soon 🙏 I especially love your Monday shows and I think that you two are such honest, unpretentious, and kind people ❤👏🏻🙏🍀💚. Bonnie needs to rethink her opinion and not be so critical 😣😣😣
Hi Linda and Jerry, sure LOVE your show and the two of you always make my day! One question, did you mention that Peter Benard was a weather man before he retired? If so, would he be able to give some info on lightening rods? Thanks! xoxoxo
Lightning rods: My opinion only. Lightning usually hit the tallest object. I would not want metal rods sticking up in the air on my house. I think they are great for a house 2 doors away from you. (Being funny here). That house attracts the bolt, you are saved. My opinion only.
Well Jerry, the storms in Florida and the lightning hits would make be have insurance for lightning strikes! Back in the 1970's a house at our corner was hit twice by lightning i the same chimmney!
Another GREAT mailbag and I love the new backdrops! Happy Anniversary to you and Linda!! Cheers to 46 amazing years and many more. Love you guys! Have a great week. Best!! ❤
Regarding the bubble wrap segment, there is nothing better for cleaning windows than Norwex cloths. They are magical. And I don’t sell that stuff, just saying that it’s the best for windows and no scratching at all.
A great MBM! Loved the beautiful backdrop pics. Thanks for continuing to up your game on the Newcomers shows. Good to know you do windows, Peter. I'm going to use your tips! Bonnie you don't know a true movie star. Jerry and Linda are straight out of central casting for down to earth, salt of the earth people, whom I know personally, and would get the parts if those were the wanted traits. Solved the scramble, solved the scramble, solved the scramble.
Good show! I like the pics behind you. I was just reading this morning, about a group of singles from the villages, are on their way to Poland to see Taylor Swift. One of the members had already seen her, here in the US. Loved it so much, she wanted her friends to see it too. So she paid their way. I think there was 6-7 people in the group! How awesome is that!
As far as lightning goes , check your own ground out by your electric meter, it can be broken, loose and corroded. without a good connection there none of the other surge gadgets will work. lightning rod system on the roof will set you back a few grand. You guys are stars !
Don’t you dare listen to Bonnie!! if she doesn’t like it, she can just shut up and not watch you guys. I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. I absolutely love you guys and I learn a lot from you so please keep it up.
People really have no idea what The Villages is like until they come and visit. You can get a very nice house, but if you’re moving here for the house, you can move anywhere. This place just offers so much more than anything I’ve ever seen in my years and travels.
So true!
Wow, I got so choked up by that golf cart parade!! Get well soon!!
Village’s lifestyle second to none 👍👍👍
Bonnie should be reminded that only nice people can watch. Jerry and Linda--you're the BEST!
❤❤❤❤❤
How wonderful to see that golf cart parade to lift that gentleman's spirits!
I just turned 50 and I am highly considering the villages for our winter home. Thanks for your videos you guys are so cute together :)
People are better here in the Villages. We are winners in life and being so gracious we enjoying being near other wonderful gracious people.
Aww. I love that you showed video of Gizzy. I miss him. ❤
🙂🙂🙂
Best and cheapest window cleaner: A couple drops of dawn in a quart spray bottle… try it!
I love Mondays hanging out with you guys. Great show. We’ll see you Thursday.
Thank you Mark!
My grandmother taught me how to garden, cook, bake, make homemade noodles! Sew, converse, crotchet be kind. many fond memories!
Don't worry, linda, I am 4 ft 10 as well. When people are driving behind me, it looks like nobody's driving my car at all!
You are AWSOME people and don't let ANYONE tell you different !!! 👍❤️ Miss and Love you Gizzy ! 😘🐕❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well now Jerry and Linda, I am hearing all the insurance and tax issues are changing the retirement for many of us over 70 in Florida !
That golf cart “get well” parade was so beautiful! That type of medicine is just as powerful as the ones you get from a prescription.
Yes!!!
Hi, Jerry and Linda! Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Your smiling faces and positive attitude always brighten my day. I am hoping to move there someday. Thank you for all of the information you provide. It's greatly appreciated.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks as ❤always for the show and info. Thanks Peter for the tips on cleaning😊.
You are welcome.

Jerry and Linda me and my wife Diana went on that cruise to Alaska and we was the youngest couple on the cruise. Laugh out loud

❤❤❤We all are!❤❤❤
The 3 poles are like the 3 seashells in Demolition Man. 😮😂
Don't use window cleaner on your TV. You'll remove the anti-glare coatings on the screen. They make sprays specific for TVs and computer screens.
Hey guys. Running all day. Finally a chance to sit and watch. Liked the interviews last Thursday. Our grandparents were grandparents. Cats and cookies. We as grandparents are as different as the day. I like how there is video in the background, nice new touch!
Awesome show...packed with information 🎉❤🎉from a Indiana girl living on the Virginia Tennessee line now with her golden retriever buddy ray ❤️
Great video as always!! Bubble wrap very good. Same principle applies when using Stainless Steel Cleaner on appliances.
Thank you.
FYI, We were told when cleaning the windshield on our golf cart to only wipe left to right and vise versa. Never circular. It because of the material it's made of and it will scratch.
We did not know that.
Good idea.
Missed you last week. I was on a cruise last week.
Another fun show. It took me awhile to watch it since I’ve been watching the Olympics.
Great show guys! I visited Gizmo’s bench this past June when we were there all month, and plan to do so on a regular basis. Love you guys! 🎉❤🎉❤😊😊😊
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for another awesome video Jerry & Linda. Love the new back drops you’re inserting. You’re getting very good with the tecky stuff. You’ll have to give us a lesson or two sometime 😘
Glad you like them Brenda!

I am sure Jerry had to take a few aspirins after that treatment on his skull
The background pictures were wonderful! Thanks for the video!

staging the house is key

Such pretty background pictures, especially your former house!
Thank you so much!
Got it! Thanks for the show!
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
My wife is also down to Earth, we are lucky Jerry 😊
Great question about if you miss your old home. We are snowbirds in our home in upstate NY now and I am so happy. I am told my husband I don't want to go back, but I am sure when I am back in Oct, I will be ok
home is where you lay your hat
Love the background photos
Thanks for sharing your letters. The background pictures look real nice.
Glad you like them!
Nice job! Another great show!
Thanks again!
Hi Linda and Jerry, sure LOVE your show and the two of you always make my day! One question, did you mention that Peter Benard was a weather man before he retired? If so, would he be able to give some info on lightening rods? Thanks! xoxoxo

Another GREAT mailbag and I love the new backdrops! Happy Anniversary to you and Linda!! Cheers to 46 amazing years and many more. Love you guys! Have a great week. Best!! ❤

Good to see you folks this morning, love the upbeat attitude. are you guys using a green screen today?
Glad you enjoyed it Andy!
I agree Andy. Green halos around their heads and other noticeable indicators. 😊
Regarding the bubble wrap segment, there is nothing better for cleaning windows than Norwex cloths. They are magical. And I don’t sell that stuff, just saying that it’s the best for windows and no scratching at all.
Agree!
Thanks for the tip.
Grandkids are one of the reasons we are having a hard time moving away!
Southern Florida, and travel to the Semminole Reservation to gamble! Well, what can I say, I am not the big gambler in retirement!
I thoroughly enjoy your videos 😊 You both are entertaining and delightful 🎉 You both remind me of the Sonny and Cher show ❤
Wow, thank you, Nancy!
Love and thank you, Fran!!🥰

Good to read that.
We Loveyou TY for always sharing.
You are so welcome Linda!
Linda, you are justified in your fear of semi trucks. I have had 2 semis, at different times, change lanes and run me off the road.
😲😲😲😲😲
Great! We all need friends like that!
As far as lightning goes , check your own ground out by your electric meter, it can be broken, loose and corroded. without a good connection there none of the other surge gadgets will work. lightning rod system on the roof will set you back a few grand. You guys are stars !
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Don’t you dare listen to Bonnie!! if she doesn’t like it, she can just shut up and not watch you guys. I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. I absolutely love you guys and I learn a lot from you so please keep it up.
❤❤❤❤❤
Nice people begets nice people. There are nasty people wherever you go but you two are positive and nice to everyone.
