    here's a tip: always build with the best belt available. don't think "ah I'll go back later and upgrade it" because that can go wrong very, very easily. I just spent about 2 hours solving my "this should produce twice as much" mystery and it boiled down to ONE MK1 belt that I forgot to upgrade because it wasn't visible.

      Very wise words indeed. Especially since resources are not finite in this game. Thanks o/

    I would say the organization and stockpiling in the end off supply chains is the most important. The game can get very messy by T4/T5

      I basically only waited for the 1.0 to drop. I love Factory games and this one has been on my watchlist since a while. Enjoying it a lot to finally sink my teeth fully into it. Appreciate you being around o/

    I really disagree with the idea of skipping impure nodes; in the very early game, they're perfect to drop a miner/constructor combo with one bioburner to make your junk parts (plates/rods/etc). There's far more impure than normal/pure. I would highly recommend saving normal/pure nodes for builds that need assemblers, where you need 45-60 ingots/min to finish up.

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      It's only about where to set up first shop. I always grab the impure ones later, but I appreciate being able to upscale without having to set up a new miner first.
      But sandbox factory games be like they are. As long as the machine works it's a good machine =)

      @@Ic0nGaming for sure, I just think warning new people away from some of these spots thay have like six impure nodes all right next to each other in search of two normal nodes is counter-productive to just getting stuff started. You can always set it and forget it.
      Two different perspectives for sure, but there should be a counterpoint to it.

      I get for your play style, this is viable. However, I personally agree that impure isn't worth it early on. One pure iron node is enough to to get you through most of the beginning stages without stressing your energy grid or forcing you to manually craft ingots. Three pure iron nodes is going to be a lot of ingots.

    You can use Zoop without moving along with the build. Set the startpoint and then look where you want it to go, very good to build foundations en masse, just not very precise.

      Very good addition! I still prefer running along personally, but it definitely is worth adding in =)

    I am trying to figure out how I am going to break all my stuff down and make it more sufficient now that I got conveyer splitters/mergers. But I am worried where all that stuff is going to go. I just hate that I cant just move the facilities and I have to break it down and rebuild it.

    Staying away from impure ores is actually a bad tip, especially if aomeone is starting at phase 0. As you can't get splitters until phase 1, and 6

      Depends on how you see it. I started on impures and was very annoyed that I had to build new miners just for upscalings sake.
      Thanks for your points there, they surely help somebody to make their decision o/

      Impure nodes are convenient because they’re essentially a soft tutorial for new players. You mostly don’t have to do math or complex planning, which helps new players become accustomed to the complexity of Satisfactory at a gentler pace.

      Well what do you want to hear ? Grab a bunch of miners and slap them on the nodes ?
      Open the inventory by pressing tab ? Press v for scanner ?
      I think it is justifiable to expect someone to have played the tutorial before coming to an external source for help wouldnt you agree ?

    Whats a good early weapon? Cause I cant defeat some of the bigger enemies with the zappy gun.
    Also is there a way to not have rocks sticking out of your foundation?

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You can craft a stronger sword relatively early on with Milestone unlocks and a bit further down the road in the research system you'll get the Rebar Gun. Which is the best ranged option early/mid. After oil you'll get a "real" ranged weapon.
      And about the other thing: Either blast them with Nobelisks (MAM research) or build higher. Some boulders can't be removed, especially the larger they get.
      Hope this helps o/

    • @julthefool150
      @julthefool150 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Raise the foundations higher up. Besides that some boulders can be destroyed smaller rocks however are unfortunately „just there“

      Rebar gun is good for any phase of the game, you need to "cycle" between stun rebar and melee for large enemies, hit any hatchers from range with normal rebar, shatter rebar is good for clearing flying crabs and will one shot any small creature from close range. All the ammo is easy to automate too. Another big early upgrade is the blade runners, the extra speed and jump make fighting hogs a lot easier.
