- This is my opinion. Not paid by anyone. I'm not a TH-camr so forgive my quirks and my sucky editing. I'm Hispanic so I talk with my hands, very distracting so my apologies. I realize I did not talk about other features so I'll do my best to answer questions or upload another vid that answers your questions.

I'm a Linkswell technician, and just letting you know yes the units are "rated" for 160* F. Also, we're in southern California. The summers here where our office is are usually about 115, maybe 125* out in July/August. The radio WILL last in your Florida heat.

I love mine. I stalled in 2020 Gladiator Sport S. I removed the 12volt port ( where you have the fire missle) and installed a usb port in that hole that i hot off amazon looks factory. I had also bought the DVR camera that ADPMobile offered with radion. It comnects and is controlles by radio and also adds lane alearts, ( if you start drifting out of lane it lets you know by tone) also if car stops quickly in front of you.
Dang!!!! i missed out on the camera. I just thought it was like a trail camera so didn't get it. Think I will want it now!
Getting my installed now and I didn’t even know that’s what the DVR camera does? Does it do lane alerts to all Wranglers? I have a 2020 Sports Unlimited

Still loving it. For the way I use it I don't think I need any improvement. It is a great unit. People love the visualizations on power Amp, which is what I use a media player.

Great video! Looking at purchasing a 2021 gladiator and wanting to install this head unit. Did you do the install yourself? Or have a shop do it? Any issues so far or anything?
Hey there! yes, I installed it myself. It is a tight fit so you have to be organized with your wires. All wires were tagged so it was easy to see where everything went connected. No issues, the only advice is...when taking the jeep's push start button, the screw size is a weird size, can't remember what it was but it was a weird small star screw and I had to really improvise to take that sh*t off. otherwise, everything went well. Good luck!!
How’s the screen during the day in the light? Is it hard to see
I had one of these in my 2017 Ram 2500. My complain was sometimes it had a glare on the screen and mad it difficult to see. Do you still have the same issue. Also in my RAM it eliminated the Ram microphone for the phone. My wife could barely hear me. I really didn't like it. Other than that, I loved the unit
I know you only have a sport but I've always wondered does this retain off-road pages like in the Rubicon?

Yes you should be able to. I did it myself.
How do you power the unit off. It drains my battery it doesn't turn off when I turn the engine off

I've had zero issues with the unit. It went thru the hellish summer we had in Tampa and no issues. I'm very happy with the unit and is always the center of attention when somebody looks in my jeep

Hey! If is wired properly it will turn off with the ignition.
have you noticed any drop in performance? My aftermarket decks I have installed in my JKU have started to get...finicky after off roading and temp changes and vibrations.
No, I haven't noticed any decline in performance. Are you doing software and firmware updates to it?

Those buttons on the right side of the radio, that you said don’t do anything? They do work. I have a Sport S and one of those is to disable traction control, the other is hill descent control, etc. it’s all standard features. You may not use them in Florida but you still have them.

I have the same issues with my phone not being supported by Android auto. What's that adapter you use to have it work? And where did you connect it to?
Hi! I only used the adapter that came with the unit. There is a wire labeled as android auto.
Can you use TH-cam while you drive and watch videos?

hello, no, mine turned off normally. Call the seller, they are very helpful.
Does CarPlay and android auto work with your center console usb?

Sorry, I haven't had it in rain. This is not waterproof and I am a mall crawler so water will not see the insiflde of my truck

Late response nice review ...but hope you re run the mic wire ... you domt want the door to pinch the wire ... i got mines recently im just browsing youtube to get apps for it lol .... i also bought a hdmi/usb extension to replace the cig lighter off amazon . And all my usb in my truck can send data to the unit .

you can put the sirius xm app and stream it. That's what I do and what i did anyway since my phone is constantly connected to my radio.
