Car Alarm in l4d2 isn't really a bug, it's more of a feature so you don't just snipe the cars away from a long distance and wait for the horde to settle on it's own. Also that car alarm triggers SI as well so, gotta keep things in balace :P
I'm curious, what does triggering Special Infected mean? Do SIs spawn faster once the alarm goes off? I've always seen that the spawn time keep the same before and during the alarming of the cars.
@@ian.ambrose - hordes during Gauntlet Crescendo events tend to just give everything the game has to offer. Every single SI will spawn until you're in a safehouse or you've turned something off. Tanks are different tho, other than finales, they tend to spawn whether the Director likes it or not.

l4d2 was made in 2009 on the source engine which was one of the best for its time, so it has a reason for the bugs. Back 4 Blood has the same bugs and its been 13 years, and its on a pretty new engine.

One of the funniest bugs I found during the closed beta was this one where if a bot was on a mounted gun and the round restarted, the bot would still be on the turret after the map reloaded. They'd walk around normally but still play the mounted idle animation, and they'd actually fire the chaingun, just shredding everything
It's because of unreal engine, all games that use it look the same, which gets really repetitive and boring. Also they used the lazy shading preset that unreal engine comes with, hence why it looks so bland and uninteresting.
Not really the graphic, it's the Art Direction! I despise B4B but its graphic is obviously better since it's made whole 12 years after L4D2 but its Art Direction still looks total crap. Art Direction is about lighting, colors, feeling, environment design, characters design, tone, mood induction, relatability, enjoyability and replayability, ... which L4D nailed them all and B4B failed them all.

Magazine capacities don't come in odd numbers like that. The Kriss Vector is known to have a bigger magazine. Besides the .22 LR (which there is no way b4b included that version) the Vector in .45 ACP has a 30 round capacity. That's the smallest they make.
Nice video, though you forgot charger bots charging to the walls, jockeys teleporting to your head, the very weird hit detection against hunters while using melee, the bot tank's rock somehow clipping through solid objects to hit you and probably more, but I can't remember right now. Also bots tend to get stuck way too often, and that includes special infected

In all honesty, B4B has a great concept of the game, such a shame that they continued to create the game different wise in comparison to the L4D franchise, L4D and L4D2 brought a great horror to the game, the ambience and all of that.
I don’t believe that the river flow and the rocks is the actual “ground” if you know what I mean. Like an extra layer above the actual ground to have the water effect like that. A non solid asset above the solid asset so you couldn’t spray it or you can but your not seeing it

L4D's bugs are excusable, as that game was released in 2008, b4b however, inexcusable, lacks any polish and i wouldnt be suprised if it was rushed to be released on time.

All the bugs I’ve found in 100 hours of l4d2 gameplay: - occasional bot pathing issues (mostly for the survivors, the infected have pretty good pathing outside of occasionally climbing ledges they don’t need to) - clipping into walls when spawning as a special infected (solved by pressing E) - stuck on geometry when standing near the exploding gas station in No Mercy - Coach entered reference pose once at the start of a versus match, only for a second - dialogue cutting out at times, with survivor responses playing during the ensuing silence Not bad overall
add nothing new? you mean they didn't even add what was already there. the special zombie designs is simply uninspired, as if they weren't the ones who came up with the designs for L4D. overall B4B failed to even emulate the gameplay details and nuances that make L4D so great.

@@JuliaJvn_6 the "good graphics" thing got so overused and its so common nowadays its not even a good point to be made, I mean damn who would've throught a game made in UR4 in 2020 would look better than a game made in Source engine in 2009.
-I'm really impressed with the graphical advancements that were made possible in today's gaming, and I definetely preffer it over a good gameplay loop to be honest, screw L4D2, B4B's graphics is where its at bb.-

Я мог залипать в лефте хоть день столько истории в этой игре, история персонажей, история самого Cs: go с предистории с био бомбой которые плентять это в карте Nuke. У меня детство проходил в этой игре и даже сейчас меня тянет, по этой игре ты открыл много нужных лайфхаков багов и прочих механик. Спасибо тебе

L4D's bugs are excusable, as that game was released in 2008, b4b however, inexcusable, lacks any polish and i wouldnt be suprised if it was rushed to be released on time.

All the bugs I’ve found in 100 hours of l4d2 gameplay:
- occasional bot pathing issues (mostly for the survivors, the infected have pretty good pathing outside of occasionally climbing ledges they don’t need to)
- clipping into walls when spawning as a special infected (solved by pressing E)
- stuck on geometry when standing near the exploding gas station in No Mercy
- Coach entered reference pose once at the start of a versus match, only for a second
- dialogue cutting out at times, with survivor responses playing during the ensuing silence
Not bad overall
Kinda sad that a game released 12 years later has done nothing new, exciting, or even fix old bugs from its predecessor.
and it's funny because they're different engines, left 4 dead is source and back 4 blood is unreal 4

add nothing new? you mean they didn't even add what was already there. the special zombie designs is simply uninspired, as if they weren't the ones who came up with the designs for L4D. overall B4B failed to even emulate the gameplay details and nuances that make L4D so great.

@@wrxlth not in the slightest left for dead is 50x better than that dumpster fire better animations attention to details gunplay level design not to mention its got 20k players while b4b has 4 to 5k lolololol only a zoomer would immediately suck the dick of this game only because its newer, as a fellow zoomer I take pride in not being a blind yes man and actually can see the blatant details of b4b being a literally comparable to a mobile game. L4d is immensely better.
The first Tank bug made me laugh. Dramatic music, Tank charging at the player, smacks away the bottom tow boards, then just sits there.
