I love seeing her commitment to them on full display b4 & after each game as kids flock to her, to meet her & have her sign her autograph on whatever poster they've made or jersey they've brought!!! And u see them squeal w/ excitement & some cry & are able to get their photo taken w/ her!!! The Vets & Coaches making these decisions were so selfish & self-absorbed & were utterly unable to c past their pettiness, jealousy, & hate. Sad. 😢💔

The US only had 8034 attendees…….the lowest out of any game in Paris for this event. All because old, jealous, racist ladies dislike Clark for being a white, straight, smart person who loves the game of basketball and its fans, especially the children.

I'm glad she got some time off, and I believe her shooting will improve after the break. But what the hell....I'd be tuning in to watch the women play hoops in Paris if CC were on the squad. Without her, I have ZERO interest. I can't wait until the Fever start to play again.

Don't want to watch the USA Women's Basketball team as they go to battle in Paris. Their standard of basketball is "too high" for my interest. I'm just interested in the level of Caitlin Clarke. Caitlin is more exciting to watch. Whenever she enters the floor to play, she's putting on a great show like watching Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or Stephen Curry play.

Obviously Sdes and Dunn knows that Caitlin, the team has been running since the beginning of the season and they're tired. People have been saying Caitlin needs a break to get her legs back under her. Maybe that's why she's not hitting as many 3s as usually does. They can't really stop her on the floor and benching her is not acceptable. So get her just as tired as she was at the end of the first half of the season for the beginning of the second half. Yeah I know this take is way out there but I thought for sure they would have way more time off to refresh themselves. The newest and future WNBA players have a current fan base while in college, although not a global fan base akin to that created by Caitlin. Unfortunately, the current WNBA culture has likely soured many prospective fans from emotionally investing in the WNBA after witnessing the vitriole experienced by Caitlin Clark by the league. It is not as if the WNBA has not had and does not yet have athletically skilled and talented players. However, the thing that Caitlin did for the WNBA was to make the WNBA appear "Family Friendly", at least initially. The one person, Caitlin Clark, who made the WNBA appealing to a new mass of viewers as being "family friendly" entertainment, the WNBA and its affiliates's demonstrated by its actions toward Caitlin Clark that the WNBA is neither family or friendly based. So, I wouldn't advise getting too hyped up about new rookie classes coming into the WNBA no more than I am currently hyped up about the current rookie class in the WNBA. The WNBA has, in action and without reservation, told the world that "WE are getting along just fine" without showcasing Caitlin Clark. So, do not be surprised when the world responds in a way that says "We believe you!"

No WNBA player will ever have the impact on the WNBA that Caitlin Clark has had on the WNBA. Caitlin reached and brought in markets that were totally disinterested in the WNBA.
Paige and JuJu are just more of the "same-old-same-old" attraction, only younger, that pre-dated the entry of Caitlin Clark into the WNBA. The newest and future WNBA players have a current fan base while in college, although not a global fan base akin to that created by Caitlin. Unfortunately, the current WNBA culture has likely soured many prospective fans from emotionally investing in the WNBA after witnessing the vitriole experienced by Caitlin Clark by the league.
It is not as if the WNBA has not had and does not yet have athletically skilled and talented players. However, the thing that Caitlin did for the WNBA was to make the WNBA appear "Family Friendly", at least initially. The one person, Caitlin Clark, who made the WNBA appealing to a new mass of viewers as being "family friendly" entertainment, the WNBA and its affiliates's demonstrated by its actions toward Caitlin Clark that the WNBA is neither family or friendly based.
So, I wouldn't advise getting too hyped up about new rookie classes coming into the WNBA no more than I am currently hyped up about the current rookie class in the WNBA. The WNBA has, in action and without reservation, told the world that "WE are getting along just fine" without showcasing Caitlin Clark.
So, do not be surprised when the world responds in a way that says "We believe you!"

Sometimes, other countries understand America better than Americans do. Looking in from the outside gives them a different, unadulterated perspective. My guess is that the other countries' fans see the WNBA like Dan does.
