Honestly, my only fault with the anime ending is that "the power of courage beats the big bad". and that Maka had both meister powers and death scythe powers, a precedence that had never even been suggested in the show or manga. Other than those gripes, it was far better than the drug rush that was the manga ending. Dead Man Wonderland suffered from the same problem.

As someone who’s never watched the show, this was hilarious, but I kept reading comments about how everyone hates Excalibur, and I was waiting for a clip of Excalibur to pop up, and then I got to 9:28 and it all clicked beautifully.
