My beautiful Brassavola Yellow Bird has finally opened most of her bloooms, and all I wanna say is WOW! What a fragrance! This must be used to create a perfume :X

Congratulations on a beautiful blooming. I remember when you got this orchid and it is very nice to see it now in flower. Isn't it such a shame that perfumes never smell as good as flowers!

Gardening at Douentza yeah, it's a shame! But sure I know one that it's quite close to some orchid fragrances...but is sooooo expensive :))

awesome plant I love this one !!! they did change the name to brasocattleya now.. I just found that out at my orchid society meeting where my plant took first place in it's class, it also took a first place ribbon at the Illinois orchid society fall show you can see it in a couple video yours looks bigger, great growing. Thanks for sharing!

Very beautiful! The pseudobulbs look so strong and healthy, and I like its growing habit. The blooms are so pretty. Are there different variations of this cross? Does John have some that are slightly different? I think some have very tiny spots. Congratulations on the beautiful blooms. It's amazing how fast this has grown!

I don't think there are many versions of it, I know the color changes from the time it openes till it fades. It openes a pinkish color, turns into that beautiful yellow and fades to a whitish color towards the end of the blooms. But maybe John can respond better this question? Thank you for watching!

Orchids & a Dutchy Not sure of different varieties, though I did have some bloom last year with only a few spots which were very small... and I have seen some without any spots at all. I was under the impression that age of the plant could cause spot loss one year and possibly return the next flowering. I like the large spots on Ana's.... Maybe she does something she's not telling us... ☺☺☺

Draga mea, daca vei vrea vreodata sa divizeze planta as fi mai mult decat bucuroasa sa o achizitionez de la tine. Locuiesc in Bucuresti si as prefera sa cumpar din tara deoarece transportul dureaza mai putin si planta ar ajunge in conditii mai bune... imi spui daca doresti sa vinzi vreodata cativa pseudobulbi. Multumesc

Cu siguranță o voi face candva, pt ca creste foarte repede. Anul trecut mi a facut 9 bulbi cred
