- Random issue with power loss while driving, in conjunction with ABS, Traction control light coming on and off. Burned through 3 tail light bulbs, makes me think that while the plunger was not making correct contact, the tail lights may have been flickering, not for sure on that, but would make sense.

Thank you SO MUCH for this video post! My car started to lose power while driving, and the traction light came on. I’m figuring this will cost me well over a $1000 to fix, but I came across this video and the fix was literally a penny! No more light and no more power loss! 🙏
Thank you very much for this video. The Hyundai part for this is Hyundai 328764B000.
Your video saved me! Thank you so much! I’ve had my fair share of mystery problems and thought I was in for another when my sonata started acting up. Your video is awesome!
Thought I was having 2 separate issues. Your video squared me up. I used a thin magnet and it seems to be working. Thanks for the video...
thank you! i was stuck on the side of the road and your video saved my butt

Watching this tutorial of yours solved my problem

You're welcome. This is exactly why I made this video. It was soooo frustrating for months. Hope it fixes your issue.
Thanks for your video. Same thing happened to my wife’s Kia the other day & your video makes good sense to me as a place to start.my diagnosis.?👍
OMG thanks for the video haven't got to try it yet but everything else was a flop
Hope it works for your issue. Let us know so we can spread the word! Thanks.
Thank you so much mate. I had the exact thing on the rubber.
Glad it helped, thanks for the comment.
I got a veloster and it does this but my ac will cut off and blow warm and rpms fluctuate randomly
Thanks nice video
Thank you very much for the information. It was so helpful. I fixed the problem in 10 minutes.
Awesome! Glad I could help.
I'm having this same problem on a 2011 Hyundai sonata. Done the break light switch twice now. Cruise stops working and the ESC light turns on solid. Heres the thing, when i turned off my headlights and it didnt happen again the entire time. Turned them on and after a bit it came on again.
Thanks it’s been a moth fir me as well. Did your rpm switch off once the traction controlled turned on.
I'm not following your question?
Thanks brother 🙏
I have had this problem as well. Took it the dealer back in December 23. They couldn't find cause, suggested cleaning throttle body and out over $ 200.00 for this.
Few weeks later engine blew and had replaced took 13 weeks.
Just got the 2013 Sonata back on Monday.
Been driving for 3 days no issues until today same issue, loss of power traction control light on. I have to let up on the gas pedal to be able to accelerate again.
Thanks for the Info! Has this fixed your issue to date?
Ted
It certainly has fixed it. No.problems since the repair and I drive this car daily.
I have a 2012 Hyundai sonata and these lights come on here and there an when they do it feel like my breaks are hard to push down on or if they are stuck and makeing a odd noise i dont know what to do it comes and goes
Did you get it fixed?
@@thagoochtookmylunchmoney8800I’m also wondering
Did you fix it?
Did you scan the codes before fixing it? What codes did it have?
No codes were present.
My Elantra is having the same problems. But, did the TPMS light go out after the fix? It looks like it's still on at the end of the video
The TPMS is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. It only reads tire pressure, the 2 items are not related. All of the sensors in my tires had dead batteries. Thank you.
@@elvroletok mine is also on, as well as the anti skid sometimes. Wasn't sure if they were related somehow. Thanks so much for posting this!

Go to the dealer parts under 10 bucks, happen to me.
What the name of the part
Yeah had the same issue, swapped out the rubber piece with a OEM replacement. Brakes don't go off randomly anymore but the traction contorl symbol still comes on, even after clearing codes. Any idea how to fix that?
Also the traction control symbol comes on the dashboard propbably once every 2 weeks or so- sometimes more or less. I can't figure it out for the life of me, as to why it comes on sometimes and sometimes it goes away.
Same problem did u fixed it ?
@@HOBSTERthe22same problem, was it fixed??
@@user-dl8rg1mr3isame here too, did you find out what it was???
There is a wire for the traction control, which should be to the wheel sensors (ABS), make sure those wires are not broken / cut.
So many dam problems
Yea I got one of these a couple months ago and Ima waiting for them to come repo it now. I wanted a car that needs new work every week I woulda just bought a beat up charger or infinity
