Does it have a story ? I cant just grind in a game if i dont have a good story pushing me forward. I know some of you guys are good at mindless grinding but that just isnt me. I never got into the game cause it seems the entire game is more about that skill tree then anything else.

The problem is that you wouldn't know unless you actively seek it out from external content, since the story telling in game is pretty bad. PoE 2 is supposed to be a huge upgrade on that front, and the game is supposed to do the lore justice.
Destin is one of the brothers you can trust when it comes down to looter shooter or rpg's in general. He's been one of the GOATS on IGN. VERY exited for PoE2!

3k hours, while impressive, is the bottom end in terms of time-commitment players have that the $500 pack is really aimed at. By now, probably at least 2-5% of the PoE1 playerbase is in excess of 3k hours, many of which love the game/devs enough to consistently buy the maximum pack every year. $480 was 8 AAA games a few years ago but is now closer to 6 considering the creeping prices. From a pure value standpoint, PoE offers more enjoyment/playtime than 6-8 typical AAA games combined, imo.

I can not judge the game because i did not play it yet but on my first impression it looks like a diablo clone to me and personally i do not like clones because it was not created by the designers. But never the less….i could be wrong. Thx for the video
@ how? You literally don’t do them in the endgame. They stated they only have 2 trials in right now with more to add later, so literally you’ll probably get all of the currently available ascendancy points before cruel difficulty at this point. This means you’ll never interact with that content again once you reach endgame.
@@patricksheehan43 they drop specific stuff, so it's interesting to play them at endgame. if you played poe 1 they are sanctum and ultimatum. you will need an entrance key at the correct tier to get your ascendancy points afaik, so you can't just get the full ascendancy at once unless you trade for it and (probably) get a carry.
Hello Awoved dev and all in general, please stick into your head Steam hardware survey they provide every month and develop around this for performance and you will avoid many bad complains. Really guys with top of the line pc's are minority.
Jonathan (Game Director) said at least 6 months and he wants full release to be in 2025. Keep in mind during that time they will add new classes, ascendancies, end game content and so on.
if anyone can help me on this but i havent played a lot of poe ive played more diablo i want to switch over though and waited for this and i love how poe 1s end game is just chaos sometimes super flashy stuff but all ive seen about this is a lot more simple i dont think its the case but anyone can tell me thatd be good.
