Maaan, I don't care what any of y'all think, *THIS* game needs a rerelease. This is the best Bond game. The sound design on the weapons is a pure joy to listen to. And those death screams are music to my ears. GoldenEye be damned.
I agree 100%. That weapon swap sound is ingrained into my brain. I played this for several hundred hours with my brother and our friends. Man we had so much fun with this game.
This , Agent Under Fire and GoldenEye N64 are one of the games that lives true to Bond's name and status . Other like that one cod reskin and Rouge Agent are quick cashgrab which is no way enjoyable in any aspects
You also forgot Everything or Nothing. Third person view gave you a different feel as Bond. Plus hand to hand combat added some action to the gameplay.
@@Jayalen They're not pumping it either. I can understand the animation kinda looks like it. But I'm certain it's just slightly buggy animating. The SPAS-12 does have a Semi-Auto mode, so this is literally just that.
I prefer this to the pc ver really Half of the weapons are reskins of Half-Life or Counter Strike weapons , the gameplay itself looks identical to a Quake mod and stealth is super broken . Meanwhile it'a console counterpart is a total different game with completely different mechanics , clean graphics , large arsenal and was a thrill to play with
people say "Agent Under Fire was better," but I still love Nightfire. the PC release was an utter embarrassment in my honest opinion. it was a complete demake on GoldSource. while it could have been okay if the assets were ported to GoldSource, Gearbox didn't do that. the game feels really bland and poorly designed compared to Eurocom's original design as seen on XBOX and PlayStation 2.
The trouble with that lied on the shoulders of executive decisions makers because Eurocom was perfectly ready to release their version on PC as it was, because they initially developed it as a PC game. But, some others had different plans. Gearbox’s maps may have been larger but they feel overtly repetitive, especially in the third act.
These sounds bring me WAYYYYY back. Thank you.

There's a suppressed snow version of the SG5/SiG 550 in the story that was overlooked
Oh man I remember playing this with my friends back in the day especially on Multiplayer mode it was pretty lit
The sound design is VERY good for its time!
Wow what a coincidence! I started replaying this game yesterday itself!😮
Man the sounds in this game are so satisfying.
You missed the K80, the white burst assault rifle, the grenade launcher turret, and the remote control tanks and helicopters.

QoS and Bloodstone were plenty fun

Lol the SPAS-12 "auto" mode is Bond slam firing it (impossible to do with the real gun) instead of a real semi-auto mode
It's not slam firing.
@@SegaMario you are right. It's just Bond pumping and firing really fast.
But it almost look like Bond is slam firing it

@@SegaMario yes i know it has the semi auto mode for lethal shells. the pump action mode is reserved for less lethal ones
Actually the Xbox version also looks the best and has 60FPS
but is it????
Yes
It's 60fps on GC and PS2 as well.
i dont remember
Gc and ps2 is also at 60, and gc has the fastest load times
Been wanting a real OICW since I played this game!
This brings back memories..
Excellent showcase
Ouch, Bond's palm after firing that PP7 must've hurt :(
I prefer this to the pc ver really

Reload animations are top notch. Still play it occasionally on Xbox!
Poor Snow Guard just wanted to be in the video, hahaha.
0:57 loved the Glock as a kid. Still do
no spending cases?? fells a litle wacky
I got memories playing with My cousins 4 split screen with bots max dificult
Man, the xbox and pc versions of this game are completely different. Pc version, i think, is shorter than console version
Had this on Gamecube
