Holly Molly you are a busy girl! Loving your Jess goes West series. Because of you we (Cross-Country 2Up) are planning to go back to Wyoming/Montana to ride the roads that were closed in June due to flooding and huge snow in the mountains. Coming from New Hampshire it is another big trip. Yay! Be safe Jess and Jordan.

I was part of the world record run. I soooo wanted to go to his Wedding. He will always be my hero! You and Jordan enjoy your ride. And if you're fish hungry, stop by.
Thanks for the heads up on the helmet. I've been looking for a modular to replace my full face. This one will not be on the list. The price is attractive but it's useless if you can't see. The Shoei is my 'spendy' choice. I'll likely go with that one. Always enjoy your content. It's cooling off quick - gotta get those miles in before the snow flies. Looking forward to the content with your husband. Ride safe. You're gonna have fun on the cruise.

Re. helmets: I've been looking at (read "researching") modular helmets myself. Because I ride with glasses, I find that my glasses fogging is a bigger issue than my visor fogging on full face models. leaving me essentially depending on the lower safety factor of a 3/4 helmet. Downside: (for Her Two Wheels at least) it doesn't come in red at this time.

oh no! It fell down because the walls are indented... so the magnet was on an angle hahaha. When it's secure to a flat surface it's actually kind of hard to pull the thing OFF! (Watch as I pan around on the wall to see what I mean about it being indented)
shoei schuberth agv etc any of the 700-1000 dollar range helmets will be good. ls2 valliant or valliant 2 is a great helmet in the 300-350 range. Or next time you see a Columbus motor officer in a parking lot or gas station stop and ask. ive seen them out in freezing rain so whatever they use is probably pretty good.
Helmets? Your head shape and riding style. I recently bought my first modular helmet from H-D. The visor fit and function is my favorite part. I traditionally buy top of the line Arai and Shoei helmets ($600ish) that are designed for long narrow heads. I have used my new Harley ADV modular helmet on several long trips and I love it.
@@HerTwoWheels that's a great idea! Can have my hubs hose me down! That may be worthy of a video!😄 But on a serious note, I can't even imagine how scary that must have been for you!!

That stupid magnet comes in handy SO often! 😅
shoei schuberth agv etc any of the 700-1000 dollar range helmets will be good. ls2 valliant or valliant 2 is a great helmet in the 300-350 range. Or next time you see a Columbus motor officer in a parking lot or gas station stop and ask. ive seen them out in freezing rain so whatever they use is probably pretty good.
Ls2 ll module helmet is a great one.
You will have the best time on the cruise trust me it's my 4th one and every year it's better and so very laid back.
Yay! I’m excited to hear it!!
You should look into the LS2 valliant2 helmet I have used it for almost 2 years and 20,000 miles and it worked great in the rain
Try Sharks modular I have one and it does keep the rain out.
I just picked up the HJC i100 modular Helmet and love it so far! Haven't tested in the rain yet, so will see how it holds up.
Maybe try it with a garden hose first! 😅 finding out it leaked 985 miles into an iron butt in the pitch black on I-70 was NOT ideal! 😅😅
@@HerTwoWheels that's a great idea! Can have my hubs hose me down! That may be worthy of a video!😄 But on a serious note, I can't even imagine how scary that must have been for you!!
LS2 Strobe! One saved my life so I have personally given one a 50 MPH human crash test. 😄
Needless to say I immediately ordered a new one post crash.
And they are VERY affordable, flow decent air, LOVE the quick disconnect chin strap, and built in drop down sunshade. Check em out!
Will do!
Not gonna lie I’m not well versed in helmets, but the Simpson mod bandit has served me very very well
I’m very happy with my Shoei Neotec II. And it’s available in wine color!
I saw that!!
@@HerTwoWheels and I’ll be riding down for BlockHeads Party so see you in Florida again. One of these days we’ll cross paths in Ohio 🤣
Oh, man. If you ride through Northwest Arkansas to get to Oklahoma, let us now. It would be awesome to meet you in person :D The Ornery One also lives down here, but I think he is still on the road.
adblocker, buy the upgrade and never see ads again. Or at least it works that way for me.
I like the Nolan modular helmets. I’ve been riding with them for about 12 years now give them a look!
