Irish pub in Santana Row closes doors after more than 20 years in business

Couple of things . The place was literally the only place that opened till 2 . It was mostly coagers and you dudes trying h to get at them . The dance room
Was stupid small
And you could really dance . The music was ok .
And Gerri g a drink
Was rough . There are other places in downtown San Jose that are more lively and have more of a bar hop vibe .

never been there and not going to miss it. Pubs are not my thing nor are any kind of bars and ight clubs. toxic alcohol and junk food is not what people should be putting in their body. May be they could stay in business if the minimum wage can be lowered to $10 per hour. LOL

It was a restaurant that was open for breakfast and lunch. And if people can barely get by on less than $20 an hour, how are they supposed to survive on a wage of $10 per hour?

@@CDour if they can;t survive at $20 per hour, then it shoudln;t make any difference. my point is that if employees are worried then they should negotiate deal with the owners for lower wage to stay in business. because these employees make very decent money in tips in establishment like this. hourly wage is just a nice plus.
