I first saw Los Lobos in 1983 at a small music venue in Santa Cruz.
My respects and admiration for the best Chicano band ever ! And as persona really great and always with they're feet on the ground ! We met them at Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel where they're perform! Los Lobos son multifaceticos y muy take todos ! Just love them! La Banda de la Raza! Lo mismo te tocan una Norteña. Balada or rock !God bless them!

I was very fortunate as an native American to have grown up around the culture of the raza. Of course I was singled out from both side: the Latinos and the gringos. Why because I did not speak or see in my younger yeats, the language or culture of the Gaza. Because I am 1/4 Apache, 1/4 Cherokee, 1/4 Spaniard. & 1/4 Dutch through birth and my grandparents.
These people tried hard to reach me the language and culture. I am very grateful for each and every of the raza and negros that shared their lessons with me.

I will admit that I broke the gringos laws much and even thou I was given chances I failed eventually. Today having been away from the Texas Society I grew up in, I miss very much and at the time I lived their the society of 4,000 Americans, around 85% were gringos and about 14% were raza about 1% black. No oriental but my mom and I were the only Native Americans in that Community of Society. I was born an American and have never denied the rights of Americanos, whether Latinos, Blacks, Italian, German (Nazareth, Texas), Indians of both sides of sea or any culture on the Planet Global Earth. In my opinion any of humanity people regardless of: culture, creed, skin color, race, etc., have every logical, moral, and or ethical right to prove themselves as a true American by following protocols that are written towards humanities God given inalienable rights of ," ... Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness ... ."
