For several years, Pieter D'Hooghe from Nieuwkerken-Waas in Flanders has been working with a VMS V300 milking robot combined with a pasture selection gate and DeLaval's BodyConditionScoring system. ""With the robot, combined with grazing, we easily milk 70 cows with free cow traffic,"" Pieter begins his story.
Data collection has become indispensable in dairy farming. The usual information from the milking robot automatically becomes visible in the DelPro Farm Manager system on the computer or mobile phone.
Besides the usual information generated by the milking robot, Pieter's robot is also equipped with the DeLaval BodyConditionScoring System BCS. This system helps monitor the cows' condition non-stop.
