The Deora II was never meant for vert, it was meant for his dad who had worked with Tesla in the silencerz and was known for his good driving while vert had JUST gotten his drivers license.
Man In BowTie eh honesty I think it was meant for Vert and his dad was actually in the army, I also wonder, if it's called deora 2, then what happened to the first one?
Man In BowTie by what I meant before is at the end of the world race vert shows his dad highway 35 and after that he started secretly working with tezla until they found out about the accelechargers and the true power of the wheel, and tezla told verts dad about silencerz because he was working with them before so verts dad decided to join them and bring others with him, but he wanted Vert to stay away so he kept the army jig up, but tezla also wanted the wheel for himself so he got banjee and others to drive through the realms, unfortunately never came out hence silencerz picking them up and recruiting them, that's all what I think tho, so I'm not entirely sure, I do wanna know how the teku and metal maniacs came about tho

No it was not. It was meant for vert because he got 100% on both the written and driving test. I also forgot to mention it's called deora 2 because hot wheels made a deora before it but used the second one for the movie

I'm going through these with a friend for the first time since I watched them when they aired on tv. They are very well done and I love the characters and music and cars and realm design. It must have been such a fun show to work on. I keep telling my friend that every movie has the graphics of a opening cutscene to a playstation 2 game tho lol

i hate how well the fourth movie ended, we had the perfect cliffhanger of finally knowing who the silencers were, what the 4th ring would do, and how the teku/metal maniacs would get vert back. but then the fifth movie never happened
Whoever wrote the original acceleracers script better have gotten a huge raise. This shit is so awesome
You forgot how Porkchop drives his truck into the accledrome with his big truck that looks like Optimus prime while he is the voice actor for Optimus prime

At the very last scene when Vert's dad reveals his true identity, 7:45, the two silencers drivers behind him change sides as soon as the scene changes 7:53.

noloaf already addressed it. its called the "taro effect". every time taro has wrecked, its because he says "im gonna pass you" to someone then murphy's law pretty much sticks it in his ass immediately afterwards.
I think what's most terrifying is at 4:28 throuought the series you hear little sounds that almost sounds like Kadeem yelling, or crying in pain behind his mind for what's been done to him, possibly implying that there was indeed hope to save him, but the drone alterations were just too much.
When Kurt fights Kadeem again, he also fights a robotic driver in front of Markie. He fights drone Kadeem in front of Wylde in the Acceleracers, and both times Markie helps Kurt.

In the Swamp realm you can see Banjee Castillo's car showing that the track was his demise.Maybe for someone who didnt watched World Race the car wouldnt make sense but we do know Banjee and we can actually feel something for the guy.

Bonus 1: I did notice that as well, I think that's a good way to tell it's a dream.
Bonus 2: Yep, this is probably the most infamous easter egg in this series. The amount of foreshadowing so hidden is insane.

Have you noticed that the realms are in a pattern like, in the storm realm they all get defeated by drones, then In the swamp realm they do good then in the water pork chop nearly drowns and Taro gets into the drone base etc,

noloaf in the 4th movie, when the drone puts all the accelechargers in galorems car I noticed there was 2 gaps left in the holder, and I noticed that the sky camera drones are from street breed cars that help you find your way through a track

and i noticed that as well. it seems like all the teams share a lot of the same technology. maybe those cameras were gifted to the drones by the accelerons and tezla figured out how to recreate them
noloaf well we would've seen them in world race lol, but unless there was like 4 realms before the storm realm cause you saw 2 accelechargers with the drones in the storm realm, the ? And something to make your car thin, it sucks what they did to kadeem, like turned him into a machine, imo they ruined a character who could've been lots of peoples favourite in world race
The picture of Vert's mom (we see it along with the silencerz car key) is also in Monkey's room, just after he wakes up from that Lani dream before the junk realm.

Good shit! It’s funny how I too have seen the movies a dozen times ever since I was a kid and I don’t recall most of these. I love these movies so much I spend a thousand bucks obtaining all the cars (I know I’m crazy). Although, in regards to the Silencer key in Vert’s dad’s suitcase, I think I’m the one whose comment you’re talking about LOL. I posted it a while ago in the comments section of the movie uploaded by Shirako Takamoto XD.

I always wanted all the cars but I was too young when World Race came out to be a true collecter, my hot wheels collection is around ~400+ real life production/concept cars now though and I can't wait to share the joy with my future children :)))
I'd like to think that BF5 was just a simulation created by the Silencerz to test Vert's skills of leadership and teamwork to be a part of the organization.
I probably found another one...in World Race, Taro drives a Roadrunner (Plymouth Roadrunner full name), in AcceleRacers he drives Rivited which is VERY similar to Plymouth Barracuda! Both are Plymouths :P

i want them to redo the ones following world race and make the characters actually look like the damn original. taro looks completely different in all the rest. but vert never even ages a day besides his goatee
An HD remake of this series would look amazing...And I agree. The cel-shading of World Race holds up a lot better than AcceleRacers' style

With Mark Wylde, I think I understand the reason behind his reckless driving:
He wants to prove himself just as equal or probably better than his brother, Kurt, because he has always been in the shadows of Kurt's and he wants to come out of it. And/or to be noticed in something. In Highway 35, Mark did said that he looked up to Kurt during the last leg of the race, and you can definitely see that before the second leg and on that spot, he shrugged Mark off, this was the same when prior to Ignition, when Mark was sent to prison. And he was happy that he found acceptance from Vert Wheeler when he accepted Mark into the Wave Rippers and it is possible of why Kurt have given Vert that face reaction because he believes that Mark does not have talents like most racers in Highway 35 (in his way if saying prior to that: 'he's a punk, like some others around here' meaning that Vert did not have the talents either until Vert had proven it when he won Highway 35 which means if Vert was worthy of winning the major race, then maybe Mark would too which lead him to possibly have open arms with Mark. I don't know if there is an issue between the Wylde brothers and their parents, probably Mark is in Kurt's shadows/next to Kurt which it is probably easy to do being the younger sibling(s). So if Mark is trying to be as good as Kurt and probably using his driving tactics included. Then he would get somebody's attention or acceptance from the family. And how you guys knows at the end of both Highway 35 film and The Ultimate Race film? They kiss and made up and Mark's anger just... disappeared.
Maybe it's because he's just tried being on the shadows and overlooked and is angry about it and if he still look up to Kurt throughout from prior of Highway 35 to Ultimate Race film. Then he just wants to get closer to Kurt as a brother. Not only that, but trying to learn from Kurt's past to make his own better future, but probably has to learn it the hard way due to Kurt keeps dragging him into negative things and Mark has to pay the price for it which causes Mark to be a little angrier and felt used and does not seen as a brother, but as a pawn or a distraction to keep Kurt's nose clean. This probably led back to what Mark told Kurt that he wanted to become a driver to be like him, and realizes that he's not Kurt (which it takes a while for Mark to figure it out), while he said that Kurt was reacting to that statement and finally sees what Mark meant when Kurt had the Teku and the Metal Maniacs together to go rescue him from the Racing Drones HQ. These actions that they both did out of the blue and towards each other made them both see what Mark really want and what Kurt needs to be.

It's so amazing watching these scenes on a side by side comparison. As an artist. You can seriously appreciate that despite using the same digital software. Acceleracers desaturated almost everything. The bright colors from world race have almost completely been sucked out. Leaving behind a very gritty and harsh tone.

Shirako driving on the right side of his car probably implies it's an in-universe Japanese tuner of some sort, that or he is Japanese and he specifically wanted his car to be that way.
There's also a scene that shows the bent highway 35 sign still bent from way back in highway 35 when Vert spun out and hit the sign in the beginning of the movie

Hmm, come to think of it, I don’t think Kadeem is actually dead after falling from the skyscraper. Drones can survive long falls like that, human cyborgs included. If Kadeem WAS dead, Kurt would probably have broken the news to everyone when they got back to the acceledrome, or after they abandoned it.
Also, since the Accelerons have special powers(telekinesis, etc.), I’m willing to predict that they will save Kadeem in the new fanmade film ”Acceleracers 5: The Edge”

Since dr tezla was dreaming he wasnt thinking about his mechanical suit, i noticed in my dreams whenever im either lucid dreaming or astral projecting, im not wearing my eyeglasses, its normal to not think about what you where or even how you look in a dream. I may or not be a year too late, but you missed a minor easter egg within the 1st Acceleracers movie.
When Porkchop steps out of Old Smokey after breaking through the Acceledrome, his boots and the way he steps out is a subtle nod to The Fast and Furious (2001) to when Letty steps out of her Silvia with the similliar boots that Porkchop has
Also the two scilencers behind his father are two of the characters from the first movie, verts friend and the leader of the road beasts

Idk if its just me but gelorum verts dad and vert all drive for 3 different factions, For an eg, racing drones silencerz and teku and there's a scene where u see all 3 of them in the one room (where u see the silencerz car key) but verts mum is dead but she looks like gelorum maybe there was trouble at home and she left cause there was always tention between vert and gelorum (final racing scene) idk if that made sense but it just came to my mind and they all wanna become the best racer in the world by collecting all the accelechargers and seeing the accelerons idk if my theory makes any sense but it's 1 am and i'm overthinking HAHA

On Ignition, that part of the track where Tezla slid and dropped off of was the part that Galorem beamed off.
How can you tell? Plus, that part of the track was rebuilt after the Racing Drones took over Hotwheels City
noloaf oooooh. Just a thought I had..cause I was thinking the drone hq is actually the real HWY35 and Gelorum had to make a portal after that so no one else but drones could get in there until Taro magically got in there and broke her record
