I’ve never heard of his daughter before this movie, but her music was a great find and the overall story was also good to me. Entertaining all around. I hope we get a sequel, though I know his movies typically don’t get sequels outside of Glass being one.
Everybody is complaining about nepotism and his daughter being in this, but it seems like she put more effort into the music than he did this movie. The songs are actually not bad at all. She should have just released an album but i guess doing it this way does get more eyes on her.
i dont think this young lady understands what the word "produced" means. did she make the beats? did she play the synths and sequence the drum machines? did she process the audio through effects herself and mix through outboard gear? i mean, its clear that she didnt even write the melodies. its pure 100% recycled pop music factory content that's pushed through and sold to teen girls and "pop stars" every day for decades now. MAYBE she wrote some lyrics. thats actually kind of clear. but thats not "producing"
I'm sorry, but his daughter was the worst thing about the film, when her scenes were not on stage. When the director's daughter was on screen acting like a stage performer, it was perfect. But jump to the "conversation with the dad" she was out of place. How you see her in this video is how you see her on screen - Stiff and boring. I will give my respect to the antagonist daughter though. She was the most authentic character in the film. Hope she continues to act. However, I'm so tired of watching films giving a depiction of Men as the bad, cheating, murderous husband while the women are so good and smart. This film was racist and sexist (reverse sexist) and was not even a good made for TV film.
I could care less about his daughter but when it comes to the genre and creating a believable plotline this movie fell short. Compared to other movies in this genre that have depicted serial killers. Don't waste your money.

She is beautiful ASF...I like how she's the daughter of someone famous and she puts in the work.

More than he did this movie?
True. She's actually a talented singer by herself, but M Night's script and direction really didnt take advantage of the movie's premise at all.
@@Dorkalest Like the movie itself was actually underwhelming?
The songs are terrible and her acting is even worse what are you talking about
@@ronweasley4767 A couple of the songs were good & she was good for someone with limited acting experience
Saleka is so beautiful 😊😍🥰.
It’s called make up
Yeah but you need a fairly good base to pull it off @@Nivi1238
❤ girl I love your voice please don’t stop
@@Nivi1238I bet you’re not this pretty even with makeup on
I like Shyamalan, he puts his heart into everything he does, and doesn't afraid of anything.
wow i didn’t know that was his daughter she did a great job as an actress! Good for her. he is a great director/ film maker
Excellent! Talented family.
If the movie was +18 and had more suspense scenes, I think it would have been a much better movie.
Great movie! ❤
It was a good movie but it would’ve been way better with an R rating and more focus on his crimes while the music went on

She did produce the tracks.
sounds like something a boomer would write.

saw the film, seemed like a music video more than a thriller movie...... :(
All due respect the move was awful.

This movie was straight garbage, very disappointing for M. Night
