Sigh. Not a comeback. He never stopped acting and flew under the radar doing what he always wanted to do. He’s done at least one indie a year since his studio contract expired and sometimes 2. If he’s sent a script that seems different from others, he’s interested and he’ll work with famous directors and ones right out of film school. He said when he left Hollywood Hunkdom he didn’t want to be pigeonholed as a “type,” not a franchise superhero (w 10 yr commitment) or the perrenial heartthrob . He was 22 when he decided that and was 25 when he was able to leave the circus behind. He’s always been a good actor. At 19 he co-starred in a teenage iteration of Othello called O. Crushed it. Lucky Number Slevin. Mozart and the Whale. The fantastic Ethan Chandler in Penny Dreadful . Only last year he put out 4 projects: Ritchie called him to do Operation Fortune, Nolan called him for a role in Oppenheimer, Brooker called him to do an episode of Black Mirror and ITV UK picked him up to do a series The Fear Factor. He says he thinks directors recognized he was honing his versatility over the years and finally got to downplay his hotness (except for us women 😏). Soooo happy he’s doing more on the big screen so I don’t have to pay a fortune to see him in an art house theater!
This movie was so good , I have seen it twice so far ! Can't wait to own physical copy !!!! Well done M Knight Shyamalan and Mr Josh Hartnett!! ⭐️🎬👌🏽💯💯💯💯💯💯
@@nolanception Loved it. A little bit of fun: it's second movie with character named Cooper and his daughter which I loved. Thank you, M.Night for such reference on Interstellar 10th Anniversary)) And for advice to Christopher Nolan to go from Warners to Universal while M.Night goes from Universal to Warners! What a twist!)
You have to truly understand Night’s intentionality and personality to appreciate this movie. For instance, people are complaining about the dialogue being awkward, but it’s supposed to be that way. We are watching a sociopath communicate between two different personalities in short periods of time while trying to find a solution to get of a situation without giving himself away. He’s switching on and off between Father of the year and a serial killer.
Josh is so underrated. Glad he’s having a major comeback.

I loved this!
I'm disappointed that, M. Night stopped including his home movies as bonus features after The Village.
I would love for M knight to direct a music video. Maybe a Philly artist.
Josh❤😍😍😍
I wanted to love this movie. I love these two. Unfortunately it ran way too long. It dragged.
I was so excited for this film but the reviews says it’s utter fucking shit and makes no sense. Think I will pass
It was very good, IMO
@@shawncain882 yes, it was. Actually in my top 5 M.Night movies)
I liked it! Movies are subjective, form your own opinion
