For people jumping to the comments claiming I am stating otherwise, let me be VERY clear: 9 times in the video I explicitly and very clearly state I do not advocate or recommend the use of IVM with regard to sleep apnea. In fact, it is written on the screen nearly each time. This video is me sharing research about a question brought forth by a listener that I found rather interesting about how there are biochemical pathways shared between the mechanism of IVM and OSA. Beyond that, enjoy learning some fun biochemistry!
If it is in MM media, it is not the truth. IVM is promoted (cleaverly, so no one would suspect) because it helps hüdro/h3l to enter the brain (open knowledge). They make ppl into antennas.
American Indians would deworm themselfs 2 times a year.
WHY NOT RECOMMEND IT??
Sleep apnea is very dangerous and Ivermectin clearly has many uses, so don't worry about ignorant commenters.
It cant be that bad, youtube did not give me the "misinformation popup" with some wikipedia clip, thanks for sticking your neck out
@@j03y__ It CAN be that bad because Dr. Jensen almost lost his medical license three separate times because of what he shared on TH-cam going against “the narrative”. It’s so sad that doctor’s even gotta give one disclaimer but courage is contagious so be courageous.
Sometimes the USA is so backwards with medicine or greedy. In Mexico we can get Ivermectin at the local pharmacy with no prescription. Also we can get Methlyne Blue at the grocery store. Hospital is much cheaper too. I had a stroke, right side of body paralyzed. Went to hospital. Had my brain scanned. Attended to by Cardiologist, Neurologist and A GP. 3 days in private hospital room with English Cable TV. 3 meals a day. Got my right side working again. Total cost $3,500 no insurance. Hope MAHA makes the USA medicine better. ❤❤❤
Really? I live in Mexico (Playa) and didnt know that about M Blue? Where is it?
nothing to do with "backwards". There is no win on iver>>>>> and Met
The big word is big pharma!!!!!!
How can I go live in Mexico?
@ It is not hard you just need to meet some requirements. For the 6 month visa you will just need to know the address of where you will be staying. You will also need to have a return ticket if you are flying. You will also need a passport. For Permenent Resident status you will need to show you have some kind of finances like a bank account, retirement account, or social security. You may like to live in Baja Mexico. It is very nice. Rent, food and medical are all very low cost. Learn Spanish it will be very useful.
I laughed a few times while watching your video - but what cracked me up the most was your "consult with your healthcare professional." I might as well consult with my healthcare professional about my car problems.
lol, the allegedly implied jokes are allegedly funny
My lungs were so bad. 15 to 20 asthma attacks a day with incontinance and seizures. Drs could not help me. Ivermectin saved my life.
What was your dosage?
thank you for sharing... my daughter has asthma... what was your dosage and for how long did you take it for?
That’s a massive turnaround! Chronic inflammation and immune dysfunction often go unchecked while symptoms get managed. Sounds like you found something that worked for you when conventional approaches failed. More people need to explore real root-cause healing!
Consider vitamin D3 (take with K2 also). I was developing asthma while low on D. I tried a mere 500 IU and was cured within a few days. Same thing happened to my mother's friend who was asthmatic for decades
There is something to this.
I was in Mexico before Christmas and I took Iver every day - my sleep was amazing

I am a gardener and constantly have my hands and feet in the dirt. I have severe apnea. Hmmmmm….. definitely worth looking further into this.
I don't have data on this with me at the moment, but typically gardens don't foster super nasty parasites because all the beneficial microbes make it hard for them to live there.
BUT Depends where he is. In the West, Valley Fever (!a very serious disease) fungal spores are common in soil & dust. When we have an earthquake it throws dirt & dust into the air where it persists 4 quite some time. VF cases rise 4 months after.
When you say hands and feet in the soil i hope you are not wearing gloves and shoes
this is true

I’ve had parasites making me miserable for seven years. I believe that I picked this up from my garden. I have sleep apnea. I’ve done many doses of ivermectin and my husband says I don’t stop breathing at night anymore. I now hire people to do my gardening!

This Doc is great. You will love his content. Very informative.
Easy on the eyes as well as funny. I love learning the information he shares. The information he presents is far more entertaining than reading about it off the web. I look up clinical studies reading the different research papers on a wide range of topics.
I wish more doctors would be about sharing information. My daughter is on 15+ medication she is 28. I keep telling her to research and learn about different options and ask questions; don’t just keep pushing for more medicine to treat symptoms.
January 2023 I was on 3 medication until my mail order pills didn’t come and I ended up being away in another state far from home without my medication as a truck driver. I started the detox process, I had already been wanting to start to slowly get off those and had been talking to my doctor about getting off them. He knew my dad had just died, July 2022. I moved to our home in Texas
3/10th of a mile from dad’s and 3 miles from mom’s place while my husband and kids stayed at our home in Colorado. I had went back up to Colorado to my regular doctor to get my prescription refilled and do my checkup. I had just started driving in September of 2022 and didn’t have health insurance through my new work but my husband still had us on his insurance so I could wait to find a new doctor. PLUS, I didn’t want to have to go through the whole diagnostic testing that took years to do and thousands of dollars later to figure out what was wrong with me. We finally had got my health going in the right direction. So my doctor recommended I do the mail order so I didn’t have to keep going back to Colorado to get my prescription from Walgreens and they wouldn’t let me pick it up in Texas each month. So, I didn’t that mail order. Our CVS pharmacy medicine plan put in my address and their system added North to the address. There is no north in my address but 7.2 miles away where our community uses the nearest town’s post office has the address with the north. They never called to tell me there was a problem with delivery until 3 months later because they won’t fill an order for miss delivery of medication.
Those three medication should not be quit cold turkey and one of them is used to help people ease the detox process. I went through withdrawal for all 3 all at once. Because I had been reading up on trying to get off of them I realized what was happening to me and knew to take every thought captive and make it line up with the word of God. I knew that with God I could get through this and he being good out of this. I was so embarrassed, I was emotional, my hormones were all over the place, I was moody, I went through extreme depression, anxiety. I knew my God and was able to do great exploits while feeling like I couldn’t drive a truck, dealing with fear, uncertainty. I had a minor finder bender in the parking lot. Learned attention blindness is a thing. Scared of losing my job, I almost voluntarily quit. But I remained my self I just started driving a truck June 5,2022 got my commercial driver license on my son’s 19th birthday in May and April I started truck driving school and had driven over the road with my husband until July when I found out my dad died and I got a job with less than 2 months of driving experience which the job application required 3 years of experience before applying. I knew God had given me favor, he got me through this all and he would get me through this too. He did. I learned a lot. My daughter takes anxiety medicine, has panic attacks. I didn’t understand what that was like until then. I told her how I got through it, by reminding myself that this too will pass, remembering I have come so far and those thoughts and fears attacking me were in fact lies. At first I couldn’t drive a semi but I HAD BEEN DOING IT SINCE MAY WITH INSTRUCTIONS AND THEN BY MYSELF. I learned it’s mind over matter, knowledge of what’s happening in my body and mind but most importantly spiritually. When I was on the phone with my daughter she told me she just had a panic attack. I asked where are you, what were you doing, what caused it. She was at her therapist. So I asked how her therapist help her. She said she gave me candy. I asked how she was doing, she said much better now. That conversation made it really clear why God tells us to focus on him and take every thought captive and to think about trustworthy thing, true, noble things. It’s a distraction and it destroys the damage that spiritual attack is trying to do to us. I told her she needed to start getting close to God and learn how to do spiritual warfare and learning to take captive her thoughts and learning to push through, reminding herself that God tells us this too shall pass. He will give us strength, he will provide all we need in our time of need. We only need to trust him fully and gain wisdom and knowledge which he says he will give us without finding fault with us. We are to have faith not doubting he will give us what we pray for and that we go through trials and tribulations to clean us and make us perfect lacking nothing good. It’s February 1, it’s been two years and I haven’t had to get back on those medicines and I haven’t relapses to those symptoms needing medication. I learned to stop trying to medicate to get rid of all discomfort. Learned a lot about bio hacking, dopamine and pain balance. There is so much information on how things work and how to help ourselves. No one is going to be our advocate like ourselves. I was saddened when I realized that we hadn’t discussed getting off medication before I started those, we didn’t talk about what detoxing would do to me when I was doing better. I never been addicted to drugs and I thought it was simple to just not do it, don’t go around it or those who do it. I learned the torture they go through and I can see why people cave and go back to the deadly addiction to have relief. I know understand how important it is to share Jesus with people, it was because of his salvation I had the strength and power to get through that and others can be victorious by surrendering to God’s gift of Salvation through Jesus alone!
Thanks for being brave to talk about this and some credibility around Ivermectin before it was demonized! Interesting!
It was demonized to scare and shame people away from trying it....why? Because it worked for the thing that starts with C and ends in D

I have used Ivermectin a ton of times. If you take the typical recomended dose .2mg per/kg. as recomended for use against parasites no problem. When you get to double or tripple that dose which is still well within the safe dosage range from the lititure I notice if taken in the evening I sleep great. Sometimes though I would notice I was a bit groogy waking up and I slept longer than normal. Then again every time I took it I was sick from eating too many bowels of bat soup and playing with the neighbood pack of pangolins. I suffer from chronic sleep apnea. I tested positive for bat soup 6 times between 2020-2023. That was with double vaccination in 2021. 3-4 days of Ivermectin right as rain. Never taken it more than 3-4 days after testing positive for bat soup!
That dang bat soup!

Seems to be common for the jabbed, and not for pure bloods. I wasn't jabbed and only had the COOF once about a year after came to the U.S. For me it was just a long (but not terrible) cold with a couple of weird symptoms.

Impresssive. I have had livestock for years....farm girl. All mammals have parasites and since I was a little girl I would ask why humans don't get treated for them. Someone told me they thought we don't have them because we eat ginger. But, I think there is more to it and glad it is finally being addressed.
I lived in Canada back in the early 80s and every year. My doctor gave my entire family some type of pills for worms. I thought it was so strange coming from the states now I realize they were probably doing the right thing.

if you have parasites you can get a hex reaction (feeling sick with flu like symptoms) the first few days because the IVM is killing the parasites and your body is busy expelling them from you. Basically you are in detox, drink lots of water preferably with a little quality sea salt. For parasites you take IVM for 3 days. then you take 5 days off and start over for a month or so, after this you can take for 3 days once a month. if you dont like to detox this fast you can reduce your dosage the first few times and you should not have the negative symptoms.
That is the experience I have heard from others... and that's all I can say.
Best dose when you feel a bug getting started. More is needed for worms only.
If you take zink and coconut oil it works even better.

Wow, just found you. Very interesting.
This is very interesting and worthy of self trial. Could it be possible for this med. to help those with vertigo?
My same question!!
Absolutely! Parasites can impact the vestibular system through inflammation, neurotoxins, and even vagus nerve interference. Many vertigo cases are misdiagnosed when the root cause is lurking in the gut. This could open new doors for treatment strategies!
I have had idiopathic PAH for 22 years now. About 5 years ago, I was on a cpap, a bipap later on after having a lot of discomfort. I threw through the towel per se. Gave back the machine. I am going to take it tonight and report back on how I slept. I will be using the paste. Of course I will also be mouth taping which I absolutely love.
Where do you get ivermectin? Can you get it in capsules too?
My daughter's friend gets the paste on Amazon

That’s an interesting approach! Mouth taping can improve nasal breathing, which increases nitric oxide production and optimizes oxygen intake during sleep. If ivermectin influences inflammation or parasitic factors, combining these techniques might enhance sleep quality. Be cautious, though, and consult a professional before using off-label treatments. For more innovative sleep apnea insights, visit ApneaReset(dot)com!
Mouth tape worked for me!
Would Ivermectin be interchangeable with Fenbendazole?
They have different biochemical events
You might experiment with both (not at the same time) and see what the effect is for you. They target different bugs in different ways.
Is this only for obstructive sleep apnea or do you think it also pertains to central sleep apnea?
for both
A common herb for parasites is Artemisia Anua or sweet Annie or mugwort. It’s consumed as a tea. It’s also being researched at the university of Kentucky as a treatment for Covid and cancer. Interesting how much these are related. 12:30
When I take IVM I usually notice changes in vision, lights seem brighter - some what more light sensitivity. Also have seen little white squiggly floaters 1 or 2 going across my visual field a day or 2 after taking it. They are not constant and they go away quickly but what he is saying makes total sense. Also notice sugar cravings, dairy craving. They must need the sugar to speed up replication when being bombarded by the IVM. Getting killed off and trying to survive (?) I hadn't put 2 & 2 together with the better sleep thing when taking IVM. That's great news. Vit D helps with better sleep, mood and energy so I've heard. Not giving advise - JMO.
Take less? 6mg a day or less works. If it not suits you try artemisia annua.
Interesting experiences with Ivermectin! Changes in vision and cravings could hint at how the body reacts to systemic shifts-parasite die-off, inflammation reduction, or immune responses. Vitamin D’s role in mood, sleep, and energy is well-documented, so combining these approaches may have potential. For more on unconventional sleep apnea insights, visit ApneaReset(dot)com!

What are your recommendations for dosage????

I want to try this. I am dying from stage 4 liver failure and stage 3 kidney failure. I started taking some NAC I think it is helping. Maybe this will help me to. I am on oxygen 24 7 at 3 1/2 leaders. I need to breathe better.
Maybe this will help you, too (since it has cured even dying people): a combination of fenbendazole together with ivermectin? There are numerous people who've got cured completely from their (even stage 4) cancers, whatever they might've been! Powerful stuff!!
As close as possible to carnivore as you can get, no more refined sugars, skip fruit for a time, Never ever high fructose corn syrup or crsco, rape seed oil or cotton seed oil. Exercise. Yes you can. Go for walks out in nature. I was on oxygen they are portable tanks. I no longer have apnea and breather fine. As you start to feel better go off one medication and see what happens. For a week. Take notes on what got better what got worse. Then resume it until you share with your doctor. Do it with each medicine. The is way you can prove to yourself, "why am I taking this?"
Thank you for sharing such a deeply personal experience. It’s incredible that you’re looking for ways to improve your health despite the challenges you’re facing. NAC’s antioxidant properties might be supporting your liver and respiratory health, which is promising. Keep focusing on strategies that boost oxygenation and reduce inflammation, but definitely work closely with your healthcare team to ensure everything aligns with your current treatments. Sending you strength and hope!
Rose, look up Dr. Kathleen Ruddy, she's a cancer surgeon and she has a few talks online about her patients using Ivermectin to recover.

Did ivermectin acumulate ? What s the antidot of ivermectin intoxication ?
The link between Toxoplasmosis and schizophrenia is very concerning.
Great detective work!!!
Great video, Thank-you. I suffer from Central Sleep Apnea and it is very different from OSA. I simply will not make an attempt to inhale and I wake up gasping after going too long without breathing. It is very scary and I know it can kill me. I was wondering if there is a positive connection between CSA and ivermectin. Could the lack of a brain signal to the lungs to inhale be a symptom of parasitical infection??
Central sleep apnea (CSA) is a brainstem-driven issue, and its link to parasitic infection is intriguing! Some parasites disrupt neurotransmission, affecting breathing. Ivermectin has neuroactive properties, so it's worth exploring how it impacts CSA. You might find more insights at ApneaReset DOT com!
Have you done a vid on using spore based bacillus bacteria to treat staph?
Using spore-based probiotics like Bacillus bacteria for staph and broader health concerns is gaining attention. These probiotics may help balance gut microbiota and reduce systemic inflammation, which could indirectly affect conditions like sleep apnea. While research is still evolving, the gut-lung axis is an emerging area worth exploring.
What program are you using to present with ? Great presentation

Tysm!! So glad I subscribed awhile ago 💚💚💚
It worries me that various people are taking Ivermectin constantly
As a cattle farmer we only use it judiciously about once a year on weaner calves after they're weaned. If you use it all the time the parasites become resistant to it and it loses its efficacy!
I don't know that there is evidence. IVM is also used for other reasons than parasite eradication. If using it for acute parasites, it wouldn't make sense to keep using it - would just be a waste of money and of course, one doesn't want to take more meds than needed.
Are you aware that millions of africans take ivermectin once a week? Its effectiveness in killing parasites has never waned.
Your concern about overuse and resistance is highly valid. Ivermectin’s effectiveness in livestock is a result of judicious application, and the same principle applies to humans-excessive or inappropriate use can lead to resistance, diminishing its utility. If ivermectin's anti-inflammatory or antiparasitic properties are being explored for conditions like sleep apnea, it’s crucial to rely on evidence-backed, supervised protocols to ensure both safety and efficacy. Resistance is a global issue that underscores the need for careful stewardship of these treatments.
Can humans safely use the paste?

Informaciòn intetesante, gracias doctor Dylan .
Does fenbendozal have any of these effects?
Fenbendazole is another fascinating compound with antiparasitic properties, often discussed in similar contexts. While it hasn’t been directly linked to sleep apnea like ivermectin, its potential effects on systemic inflammation and immune modulation are worth exploring. What do you say about someone with sleep apnea but never gets sick
Great question! Sleep apnea stresses the body, but some have resilient immune systems compensating for it. Over time, though, hidden inflammation can still take a toll. Optimizing sleep, breathing, and metabolic health can prevent long-term issues before they surface. Check out more insights at ApneaReset DOT com!
Wow Awesome Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼 Sub’d 👍
Thank you
Dr Dylan, it might be worth mentioning for people who had poorer results with IVM adding the drug Nitazoxanide with IVM is what my Long Covid Docs are doing, as they say the new Variants are more resistant to stand alone IVM. IVM in high dose at Prof Kory’s recommendations made me see things in Yellow, and felt strange, but the RX low dose 9mg has worked good for me. Adding the Nitazoxanide has made a huge difference, and all a patient has to do is ask their Doctor to add it with the RX OF IVM and they are taken together with food. It has worked very well for me and a lot of other patients as long as they are taken together.
Very interesting, I will ook into it. You're getting into a slightly different territory than I discuss in the video, but still something for me to check out!
Ther is no Long nor short C. Only vdam. IVM + hdr0/g3l = make ppl into antennas.
Pls what this RX means here?.😮
I am sad to say that today's food lacks the best balance of vitamins and minerals. We are deprived. In old days, wood ash went out onto soil. It returned to soil what was going to be utilized by growing veges fruit etc.the circle of life. Oranges don't provide enough Vit C for our daily needs! The soil is not able to provide what we need! The Jewish routine of letting soil rest for a year, every seven years is so beneficial. Then, we run into the desire for profit at all costs.
@@dylanpetkusmd yes, thank you
Seems plausible , thanks for the info !
Thanks and obviously, as stated like 90 times in the video, this is more about research connections
Humming also increases Nitric Oxide in the nasal passages.
interesting!
But, humming is bad for your voice according to my daughter's voice instructor.
@@annestrada1724Really? Interesting I wonder why? 🙏🏻
Exactly right! Humming stimulates nitric oxide production, which not only enhances nasal airflow but also has antimicrobial and vasodilatory effects, supporting overall respiratory health. Practices like this can complement unconventional sleep apnea approaches. For more insights, visit ApneaReset(dot)com!

What’s the best way to get ivermectin?
That's a loaded question! Best to research sources thoroughly and work with a knowledgeable practitioner. Sleep, gut health, and detox also play a big role-check out ApneaReset(dot)com for more on optimizing sleep naturally.
I went to a TCM practitioner and they did recognize that I was iodine insufficient!! Something I had been chasing down for about 7 years. AMA doctors could not find it because bloodwork was unremarkable. But adding an iodine supplement took care of it!!! She looked at my face and said I know exactly what this is!!! How do American doctors not know how to spot these things!!!!!!!!!!!
“Whatever device we’re use now….. Hologram?” That was awesome!!!! Thank you for the much needed laugh!
You're welcome, sis
That fact that you have to apologize for discussing the one thing that is intentionally kept from the masses - the connection between parasites and most diseases and conditions - is just sad. The Merck Manual from the 1890s had parasite protocols for most ailments and we know who changed the curriculum of medical schools and why it was done.
I did a parasite cleanse a couple weeks ago using a product called Paraguard. I have been having gut issues and doing research found that this was a recommended homeopathic treatment to do. I did notice that there was a flushing of some parasites which I expected, however, one of the things I noticed was being able to breathe through my nose so much better. I didn't know if I could attribute this to the parasite cleanse but now wonder if it was due to the cleanse.
I have been having a terrible time breathing through my nose for 3 months, thank you.
That’s fascinating! Parasites can impact inflammation and airway function, so it’s possible the cleanse played a role. Clearing gut issues often improves nasal breathing too! Keep tracking your results-your experience is valuable.
I've taken ivermectin for horses. I got the dosage wrong. It was not a simple weight ratio adjustment.
I immediately got dizzy.
Months later I had trouble swallowing .. I think due to the ivermectin growing inside me.
Later when performing a flush with nicotinic acid as I have done before for a flush reaction. I had trouble breathing as the ivermectin was being ejected from cells.
Also I can get you evidence that nitric oxide is harmful for the liver in the long term.
Thanks, good info!
Would Ivermectin help with REM sleep disorder?
Thank you
I don’t think anyone knows the answer to that
We need to have truth free. The problem today is that truth is elusive because no one wants to be truthful.
I personally take: 1 teaspoon of white sugar + 1 pipette turpentine gumspirit, 1 capsule of black garlic powder together with 1 table spoon of black cumin oil daily and I am good to go!
Fungal infections and Sleep Apnea go hand in hand
You're absolutely right-fungal infections and sleep apnea can be interconnected. Chronic fungal infections can drive systemic inflammation, worsen airway swelling, and even impair respiratory function, indirectly contributing to sleep apnea symptoms. Addressing fungal infections may reduce inflammation and improve airway health, offering a potential complementary approach to sleep apnea treatment. The relationship between microbial imbalances and sleep disorders is an emerging area of research worth exploring further.
@@dylanpetkusmd Yes and the sleep apnea drives Diabetes which drives the fungus more aggressively and more permanently which drives the sleep apnea even more. I don't think we have good tools at our disposal to really tackle internal fungal infections so this cycle cannot be blocked.
Does this apply to central or obstructive?
both
Fenben gets through blood brain barrier better than Ivermectin.
That’s an intriguing point! Fenben’s ability to cross the blood-brain barrier could have unique implications. Have you noticed any specific benefits with it?

I felt amazing every time I took a dose of ivermectin. Had no idea I was suffering from inflammation. We recently cut all seed/vegetable oils, carbs and only eat simple, no ingredient foods. It is literally knocking the inflammation out of us. Our family is seeing drastic improvements in health. No more cpap. Waking up feeling great again.
That’s incredible to hear! Combining ivermectin with an anti-inflammatory diet-eliminating seed oils, processed carbs, and additives-seems to have had a transformative effect on your health. Reducing inflammation is key to addressing many chronic conditions, including sleep apnea. Your experience highlights the importance of treating root causes rather than just symptoms. @ really appreciate you and the other TH-cam health inspirational people. We have learned a lot and my family is much better.
My daughter has epilepsy. She is doing amazingly better. She was sleeping most of her life away, not able to go to school or have fun. She is now energetic, waking up feeling well, being active -no signs of seizures or so much as a flutter. Truly life changing. No doctor ever suggested change of diet or anti inflammatory supplements.
We hear you thank you keep up the good reporting

I’m not sure if I would had survived my C infection without IverMectin. C infection got in to my cardiovascular system( I have a family history of cardiovascular disease. Also when my elderly mother with a heart failure got C infection I got her Ivermectin and only after 3 days of being sick get better without needing a medical attention. I believe IV is a wonder drug and I wish it would be studied much better. But big pharma is not interested, no money there.
That’s powerful! It’s wild how some therapies show promise yet get dismissed because they aren’t profitable. The body's resilience shines when interference is removed. There’s so much to uncover when we prioritize healing over suppression. Keep questioning!
