The only reason "I believe it" is because Stephen Ross is in charge of the development... This is what he has done his whole career with great success... If this was left to be done by just the Ilitchs those parking lots would remain parking lots till the end of time!!!

These guys built about 10% of what they said originally and now here they come with more “proposed” plans…hilarious

Hopefully they don't transform Detroit to look like Oakland County. Keep that garbage out of historic Detroit!

And of course, the new piles will look typically hideous. The idiots got rid of the Hotel Wolverine and several other hotels, the old YMCA and the old YWCA, in order to build a ballpark that nobody visits. On the other end of the stick, they demolish one of the original, storied ballparks...a REAL ballpark built in 1912. From the western end of downtown, Tiger Stadium was only half the distance of Michigan Central station, down Michigan Avenue. They should have kept it...and kept all the great irreplaceable structures that once stood where the Epcot center looking joke of a stadium is today. Detroit is flat...as in zero typography. The population continues to dwindle. It has little else to offer than its structures. SO, what monstrosities have they planned for this space? And with the Ilitch family at the helm, it ought to be disgusting.

Nothing like ugly overpriced housing that has no historical or architectural value to the surroundings...but hey...they don't pay barely anything in taxes. Guess that's the important thing.😐

It is always so meaningful.. and in 20 years when it is just another huge ripoff for us?
Her pride filled face will laugh in your face "So?"
I thought it would be good, just like every other sucker before me.
