The best way to fail a young QB, is to play them behind a bad offensive line, without any weapons. It'll destroy their confidence, if not get them injured. Then, your investment is cooked.
I did in one game where they didn’t respect him. I think it was like like week two or three will was throwing the ball and big Jeff just walked right in the middle of it not saying my bad or anything. Just kept walking. If the qb is throwing the ball on the side you never walk in between them. What makes it worse is Will didn’t say anything like hey man I am throwing here. This team is a disaster from top to bottom. They literally just sent Delanie Walker bobble head from 2023 to new PSL holders. There’s literally still photos of AJ Brown hanging in the stadium and he’s been gone for 3 years. The team and organization is an overall embarrassment. I currently have 0 faith in this organization with the current ownership….

But that was just the last embarrassment that year: Sewage raining down on the home fans, the culture is actually damn good press conference, cheerleaders being sent for ogling/calendar trips to the Bahamas, stuff falling off the stands and almost killing Jaylen Hurts, no volume on reporters at press conferences etc etc. Just whatever can be handled incompetently will be handled incompetently in a dysfunctional organization, down to the pettiest detail. 2 things...1. Carthon wanted to move on from Henry and at times was actively looking to trade him. Amy Vetoed a trade last year. I am assuming Carthon was selling her on Henry being over the hill. 2. Carthon drafted Will Levis and probably sold her that he was the QB of the future . Ran did great in Frisco, and was terrible here.
Everyone knew DH wasn’t coming back when his contract expired. He was attempting to maximize the situation. Getting Will Levis was a consensus move. When folks make moves the seem obvious to almost everybody and they fail, I feel that should be given more grace compared to the “wtf were they thinking” moves that don’t pan out.
So the solution is really simple, copy a team formula or just hire a real football guy to do it for you and stop hiring unqualified people to do the job like coach Calahan in Tennessee or Zack Taylor in Cincinnati

Then imagine signing a Keenan Allen or Davante Adams to help mentor a Travis Hunter to take the pressure of focus off him. Send round you sign Shilo that way Travis has a familiar face both players can build from each other along with the veterans. My conclusion: you Draft Hunter and Sign Justin Fields as a long term building project and in about 4 years you should have a top tier playoff team.
