Carthon was bad enough to fire Vrabel when Vrabel was stuck with an aging/broken QB, no receivers, no o-line, etc. Obviously the team took a step backward this season, but Carthon barely had time to build up the offense. I think he deserved at least this draft to make some improvements. The only way this makes sense is if there were strong disagreements about what to do with the first pick, get a QB or stick with Levis, etc. Or maybe Carthon wasn't getting along with ownership on a personal level. Who knows, because it certainly doesn't make sense.

This is the team I support and Amy has done a lot for the team but the last few years she has made bad decision after bad decision, the organization is a mess. She should have never fired Vrabel or Ran.. Ran had 1 year and a really good draft. Chad has been here the entire time that it has been bad. If Ran was so bad why give him an extension in the off season.. Chad is the common denominator and a yes man to Amy.. If I'm a qb in this draft, Titans are not the place you want to be. They've fired a coach and/or gm 4 years in a row. There's a high likely hood you'll have a new HC the following year and potentially on your 2nd or 3rd OC in a calendar year. The roster while having some pieces, is overall a mess. Trading back makes the most sense, but owner loves to be involved. They're going to force a qb with those weapons to work. Good luck if they pick you.

This is why the Titans are perpetually dysfunctional. They got rid of a very good GM in Jon Robinson and chose a GM that was not ready with Carthon over a proven coach in Vrabel. Now they get rid of Carthan but keep the coach, who is also in over his head. Oh and the President of Football Operations, which is a page straight out of the NBA playbook, is essentially the GM, which was probably the plan all along.
Adams-Spawn has no clue on what she is going, and yet Nashville just gave her and her team over a billion dollars for a new stadium.
My gosh Steve McNair was much better than I thought. He and Eddie George carried this sorry franchise.
Is the AFC South the most dysfunctional division in all of professional sports? The Texans were dysfunctional until Cal McNair's wife stepped in and essentially told her husband to hire DeMeco Ryans. The Colts will remain dysfunctional until Jimmy Irsay croaks. The Jags did what the Titans just did, but in reverse. They fire the coach yet keep a terrible GM in Baalke.
    Dysfunctional teams do dysfunctional things.

Will Levi’s has been all over the map. He has a killer arm though and maybe if the Titans stick with him he could be a star. Reminds me of Favre. First few years for Brett he always screwed the pooch. But then Brett figured it out and with that great arm he succeeded. Levi’s might take a similar trajectory IF the Titans and their fans - I’m not one myself - are patient.

I just don't understand why Callahan ever got the job. Why did he get that job? Burrow? We all know Burrow is the reason that team wins, and it's not because of his coaches in Cincinatti. The backup doing well last season? Come on... Titans are my second favorite team, and there was almost no point in watching them this season - they were arguably unwatchable. That was true when they had the Whizzinator as coach, too. It's like they're scripted to stay a poverty franchise.

@michaeldaniel7012 i agree and that's the problem, she doesn't have a clue who to hire. I am a Redskin fan and once the ownership changed look what has happened, the new owner has experience and know how and he hired the right people and has turned this team around within a short amount of time.
