How to fight people in mist with only 700 IP.

- In this video, I'm stepping into new territory by recording my own audio - bear with me as I navigate through my not-so-perfect English and a mic that's seen better days. But let's not get bogged down in the details, because what I'm excited to share is my one-week journey into the world of Boltcaster with a 700 IP.

13:28: Using a Gigantic Potion too early. (Common mistake)
13:58: Executing the combo too late. (Common mistake)
14:33: Using Sleep while the enemy was casting an interrupting skill. (Tricky mistake)
15:11: Not dealing enough damage 1 (due to low IP).
15:41: Not dealing enough damage 2 (due to low IP).
Important Note:
You absolutely can't kill people with an Undead Cape. Sometimes, you can kill people with a Cleric Cowl and an invisibility potion due to panic. If possible, I would just skip them.
I've saved some juicy kills for the later video. In this video, most of the time, I just killed people with an IP around 1100.
I've been playing this build from 0 spec for both the Boltcaster and Soldier Armor (700 IP), killing people while also engaging in PvE content such as camps and abbey. Now, with 60 spec on both of them, I can safely assume that I can kill people around 1300 IP (without the Martlock Cape) or 1200 IP (with the Martlock Cape).

Confidence is important, but even more importantly, you also need to consider what Boltcaster can and cannot do.

my favourite build. fs cape also counters sleep so watch out for that.
Yep, actually, many things can counter this build, such as cleanse, purge, and immunity.

I’ve been using this since last night and it’s so good I even beat a few 1450ip players in 1v1 duels , you just need to be smart and know what u can and can’t fight
Exactly.. Understanding the capabilities and timing the combo perfectly is the key to mastering this build.
I struggle to time my E skill effectively to fully utilize the stacked 8 buffs from armor.
Seems like you have nailed it very well. I died to 1400++ quite a few times myself :)
@@crossagaming it’s really powerful but don’t always pay off for me I’ve had a lot of deaths using it but I’ve also had some funny fights but yeh man thanks for sharing it I’ll try to become better at it :)
Funny this is most weapon are like that, people only dismounted on mist or ask 1v1 because they know they can win you

In this video I use passive 4 on weapon.
I have new updated video that show passive 2 is better than passive 4.

Yes, this build is still effective.
But its turn out that using demon boots actually makes it easier to kills higher IP.

Wouldnt it be better with demon helm? that way you can use 2nd W for armor pierce?
I have tried that, but my opinion, it deals less damage than this method.
Here are what I think:
1. The 2nd W armor piece (Sunder Shot) has lower damage than the 4th W (Noise Eraser), and to achieve full 80 decrease in damage resistance, you need to shoot it when the enemy has 100% HP. This is effective with high-tier Boltcasters, but with 4.2, it won't be enough to kill most people.
(If you do Q first, as in this method, in my opinion Noise Eraser deal more damage, but I could be wrong because I haven't tested it thoroughly)
2. After casting Demon Helmet, the enemy can still possibly move. If you fail to get very close to the enemy, your E skill may not deal full damage because the enemy will be out of your range. Sleep -> Noise Eraser -> E is easier because you're likely already near him, and you can easily cast your E.
But it's still an interesting idea. I'll try it sometime and let you know if it actually works better.

Oh yeah me too, he was flat t4 but his weapon 5.1 and I try to kill him I'm fire staff with 1250 ip, and he was about 900 and boom I'm dead

It's always good, but u know now all 90% with 8.3
I can't confirm whether that 90% is entirely true.
But yeah, if you've been ganked by 8.3 or failed on any case, just give it another shot :)

Invisibility also cancel right?
Not all kinds of invisibility.
For example, abilities like the invisibility from the assassin jacket can't be activated due to silence.
But, undead cape and invisibility potion still can be active even when silenced.
I included an important note about this in my video description.

Update: i tested and with 1320ip on 4.2 boltcasters i easy kill people 1300ip, can also kill people with 1400ip

I can't confirm who made this build first.
But the big idea here is not the build, but lowering your IP (4.0 Harvester Cap, 3.0 Soldier Boots), so that people are willing to fight or even dismount you. I don't think this aspect has been covered in any youtube content yet (But I might be wrong).
Personally, I got this idea from nickname Kimoraa, whose name appeared in the top leaderboards for Corrupted Stalker in Eastganker (which I think might be a bug).

Or are you referring to "Mysterious Stranger"?
In the Mist, all players will be named "Mysterious Stranger," and you can see their actual names after you or other people kill them.
