Boltcaster T8 indeed dish out crazy damage. But personally, I don't think it's a good idea to mix it with this build, especially since PvP isn't just about dealing damage. In my earlier video description, I mentioned that while this build might take down players with higher IP, but it struggles against specific opponents and this build will likely to die a lot. But since i am using low-tier gear, there's not much to lose. A single run to the mists can easily cover the cost of this gear multiple times over. So, my suggestion is if you're using high-tier Boltcaster, better to use standard build.

In my opinion, Badon is all about kiting, while the Stalker Jacket is more for being a brawler. So I think it might be not work, but I can be wrong :)

I have tried that, but my opinion, it deals less damage than this method. Here are what I think: 1. The 2nd W armor piece (Sunder Shot) has lower damage than the 4th W (Noise Eraser), and to achieve full 80 decrease in damage resistance, you need to shoot it when the enemy has 100% HP. This is effective with high-tier Boltcasters, but with 4.2, it won't be enough to kill most people. (If you do Q first, as in this method, in my opinion Noise Eraser deal more damage, but I could be wrong because I haven't tested it thoroughly) 2. After casting Demon Helmet, the enemy can still possibly move. If you fail to get very close to the enemy, your E skill may not deal full damage because the enemy will be out of your range. Sleep -> Noise Eraser -> E is easier because you're likely already near him, and you can easily cast your E. But it's still an interesting idea. I'll try it sometime and let you know if it actually works better.

I'll just call it the "make you big" potion later. It's a lot easier to say.

In this video I use passive 4 on weapon. I have new updated video that show passive 2 is better than passive 4. You might want to consider that.

Yea :)) But my spec in this set is already at 100. I want to try other low IP weapons that I haven't maxed out yet. The Wildfire staff seems promising; recently I can kill some players with 6.2+ gear using only 4.2 gear.

I would say it would be difficult, especially for Chillhowl users if they can kite this build effectively. But in reality, most users with 7.3 or 8.3 gear will ignore this build. I run a 7.3 Chillhowl/Frost Staff myself, and most of the time, I ignore any Tier 4 builds because it's not worth my time, unless they are going for a rat.

Well.. Once you understand the limitations of this build, I think its not really as broken as it may seem. But, it's true that there aren't many weapons with the same IP that can easily take down higher IP enemies like this one.

@@crossagaming Boltcasters just have such a high burst it's difficult to take it down without interrupts. The harvester cap makes sure that won't happen x) I'm actually interested in speccing this weapon and use it for tracking targets. They like to run away, so minimizing the time fighting them with a big fat burst seems tempting.

In my opinion, both weapons are somewhat similar and good for both PvE and PvP in the Mist. The important thing is to understand each weapon's advantages and use them properly. For example: In PvP situations, Boltcaster is good for one-shot kills, so the best skill set for that would be Q1 and W4 (Silent). On the other hand, the Light Crossbow is good for kiting, so the best skill set for kiting would be Q2 and W3 (Trap). In PvE situations, like a camp, the Boltcaster is better for single targets. So, you'll want to prioritize killing enchanted mobs (the ones with green buffs) or the boss to earn points faster. In the case of the Light Crossbow, your area of effect (AOE) is better, so you'll want to group up mobs, especially melee ones, and take them all down with your AOE skills. Your armor build will also be a factor. The build in this video sacrifices all of your defenses to maximize damage output with a low-tier weapon. This is not very effective with the Light Crossbow because you'll want to play defensively and kite your enemies.

Boltcaster is really just there to delete a monster or players, so light crossbow is better option for PvPvE

light crossbow is actually very good for PVP if you kite properly on it plus the big upside compared to some of these other meta builds its an extremely cheap build ~ Lightcrossbow, mistcaller, cleric robe, guardian helmet, any plate shoes on refresh sprint. then just bring hp pot and use stew

Well, there are many factors that determine the success of this build. I already mentioned some limitations, like what you can and cannot kill with this build, such as the undead cape and invisibility potion. For the leather hat, I assume you mean you can debuff the sleep/silence effect to avoid being one-shotted. But in reality, sometimes it still works, like in the fight at 8:36 where he debuffed it too late and it cost him his life.

Well, its for encouraging people to watch, but Im not lying about the IP, and we practically dont need cape in here. If you just wondering how much IP it is with cape, for this current build + t4 cape and with my current spec, it will be around 900-1000 IP. But you know, the point is not the IP. I will cover the objective of this build in the next video.

Menurutku ya, kalau IPnya gedean jangan pakai build ini. Build ini emang bisa kill sampai IP 1500 tapi dengan banyak catatan dan syarat (armor stack 8, aktifkan sepatu saat HP dibawah 20%, musuh harus gak ada undead cape/invis potion/cleric cowl, dsb) Kalau damage boltcasternya udah cukup tinggi, ya gak perlu deh boost damage dari armor dan sepatu lagi. Keuntungan build ini cuma murah aja, clear camp di mist kalau dapat uncommon chest juga sudah balik modal, jadi gak masalah meskipun mati berkali kali gara gara gagal eksekusi combo.

Umm... I think their names were all totally different. Or are you referring to "Mysterious Stranger"? In the Mist, all players will be named "Mysterious Stranger," and you can see their actual names after you or other people kill them.

Yes, this build is still effective. But its turn out that using demon boots actually makes it easier to kills higher IP. Will make video about it soon.

Could you elaborate further, sir? What's the best skill set, in your opinion, when facing a regular bow with the Jump ability? If I were using a regular bow and I knew the Wildfire Staff didn't have Fire Artillery, I would use my E for 9 stacks, hit, and then use W to back out without getting close. After that, I'd use Q2 while waiting for it to come off cooldown. How would you deal with that?

You're absolutely right, my use of the Cleric Robe was not effective in this fight. Understanding when to back off during Q stack situations is something new for me, will definitely keep it in mind. Yep, I met regular bow a lot. As trinity spear, usually I check their W skill and food. I go with Q1 W5 (Harpoon) if they use W2 (Jump) and use Pork Omelet and Q1 W4 (Impaler) if they use W1 or their food is Roasted Puremist.

I can't confirm who made this build first. But the big idea here is not the build, but lowering your IP (4.0 Harvester Cap, 3.0 Soldier Boots), so that people are willing to fight or even dismount you. I don't think this aspect has been covered in any youtube content yet (But I might be wrong). Personally, I got this idea from nickname Kimoraa, whose name appeared in the top leaderboards for Corrupted Stalker in Eastganker (which I think might be a bug).
