Hi, Paul, how do you create a feedback state? It shows as one of your existing conditions. How did you do that?

I usually just add a rectangle and add some multi states to it.

Hi Paul, I'm using a text entry box but don't want the submit button, I just need it to go to the next slide once they have entered something into it.
I've followed the video but I don't want a next button so I attached the advanced action to the text entry box but it just doesn't move onto the next slide when I preview it. After I've entered the text it just stays on that slide. Any suggestions please?
    Many thanks

You need something to trigger the advanced action. You could use a shortcut key like the default Enter key and unselect the Show Button option in the TEB Actions tab.

@@CaptivateTeacher Hi Paul, thank you for that. I was hoping that they could just enter the one word they need to and it would go automaticaly to the next slide.

@@susancockburn7416 Something needs to trigger the advanced action. You could create a loop on your slide that constantly checks the variable for that word (every second or so). Check out this video from my friend James Kingsley about using While Loops. It might help you. th-cam.com/video/bJ5HN2Q6G9k/w-d-xo.html
