Thank you, Paul -- another excellent explanation of a fundamental best practice, concisely demonstrated! I especially appreciate that you included the Power Toys option for those without Photoshop.
Paul, I'm new to using Adobe Captivate, but I regularly follow your channel for the great videos that you produce? Please keep it up. Just a quick question why don't you save the images in png format?
In a Nutshell: PNG: Best for graphics, logos, icons, and images that need transparency. JPG: Best for photographs and images where file size is a priority.
@CaptivateTeacher thanks for the prompt response. Will readjust my images in line with the above. While I have your attention if I create a sign in, how easy is it for that sign in to automatically move to the next module? Is this a subject for a video?
Adobe Captivate and other elearning authoring tools are not designed to track student logins and interactions. That would be something you should rely on an LMS for. That said, you could export the contents of Captivate variables to local storage and have another course pull that same data from that local storage. For example, you can have the first module prompt the student for their name, save that name in local storage, recall it when they launch the second module, and pull that name data in. However, because it's local storage, data will not be available if they log in on a different device. I always recommend an LMS.

Yeah, of course. Not everyone has the Creative Cloud,
