@@cheryl5994 I core the center, but leave the bottom in tact so that I can put butter, cinnamon, and sugar in it. I like the wrap it in foil too, to keep the butter, sugar, and cinnamon from draining out all through my air fryer. Then I air fry it at 400 until the butter is melted and it’s got a slight browned look on the top. You can experiment with it though, how long to cook, how much butter and sugar and whatnot.
Apple crisp is a dessert with baked oats & apples. But the word chips makes better sense to use for these because then you are not confusing people that you are talking about the dessert & not the snack.

Fries such as sold by McDonald's are a version of chips. Crisps are wafer thin slices of potato or other root vegetable in deep fat fried and sold in packs and eaten cold.

I make kale ships in the air fryer all the time. Toss them with a little olive oil and whatever spice combination I think of today. They're very good!

I would recommend using coconut sugar instead of granulated white sugar because apple chips are meant to be a healthy snack.
Don't you have to put the trivet over them so they don't blow all over from the fan? Or doesn't the dual blaze have a fan?
I did exactly what you did Colt but my mine came out soggy with slight crisp around the edges . 16 min turned them over at the 8 min mark. Help
