This makes me slightly sadder when I think about Mario Maker 2's Hammer Suit because that game technically gave us the powerup but it ended up being a 3D World exclusive ability that worked completely different (Albeit, still really awesome)

That Super Mario Land theme in SNES
You know latter of playing SM odessey and MK tour, i can understand if you are in close range if the shots have auto-ame that make the item not so hard to use, even if the lock-on dont work in medium distances

I want Mario Multiverse to be open beta so bad. There's so much content that looks really fun to mess around with. Too bad that would likely result in some gaming news site giving it enough attention to get taken down by Nintendo.
Honestly I think the hammer suit power up is boring. It would be so hard to actually use on real gameplay because of its aiming difficulty that I think it would be almost never used. One thing that would make it so much cooler would be if it hit blocks, interacted with on/off switches, collected coins, made you invincible to hammers, and maybe even had a built in shellmet.

I have an idea an Hammer Koopa Clown car , this will have the same behavior of the fire clown car (No hammer suit = 1 Hammer ; Hammer suit = 3 Hammer)
So basically it’s the fire clown car but retextured? Or does it act differently
