Rory is certainly going the extra mile with that tumble dryer. I see a new test category here, forget the banana box test. The window on the boot is probably the greatest feature on any BMW, loved it on my 5-series!

I really appreciate how you went into the practical downsides! Too many car reviewers make it out to be all fun and games. Amazing performance but definitely the kind of car only those who can afford double the MSRP should consider.
Most car reviewers know their audience: Most people watch fun, but impractical or to expensive cars online, but buy boring and practical cars instead, as I sure would, if I got the money. That also the success of Top Gear explained, which were certainly more a comedy show than actual serious review of cars, and also today both Carwow and Throttle House.
Excellent driving skills for a car's journalist, Rory! I always wondered if ever attended BMW driving school 🤔, keep up the good work 👍

Pure Top Gear vibes (not just because it’s filmed at the track) and I love it. I’m a sucker for an RS4, so that’s always me preferred fast wagon, but BMW lovers can be very very happy with this. Just wished it looked less like a box on wheels side on.

Great video top gear should have kept him a real car journalist hard to find these days well every one thinks they are but it’s like this any car video l watch no matter what car it is the presenter has to get me interested within the first minute of watching it that’s what Rory does so well keep them coming also set your own show up like Chris Harris has it would be good to see in the future.

Rory, that's a great review.
Bmw’s x drive is the all wheel drive system for car enthusiasts. When you want it to be normal AWD it does that but it doesn’t disappoint you for drifts as you switch to RWD and it becomes an animal and then back to normal on your way home

Good luck parking it in the UK. For us the ideal dimensions were the estates 20 years ago. The roads haven’t gotten any bigger (usually smaller)

LOL hilarious...dryer in the back with no 3 pin plug, "How's he going to use it?" Great review.
The Honda E has a 1.5kW 3 pin plug so you could run a tumble dryer inside of a Honda E, if you could find some way of getting it through the doors.
Hmmm I had tour 330d for 6 months but it was practical with parcel self I couldn't get two suit cases in so it went. Plus they change front steering rack twice under warranty as it kept squeaking under low speed turns.... Garage said design fault as engine was too heavy? Fun fast car to drive and mid to high 40mpg 😁
Exactly. Everything about this car is INSANELY beautiful. All in under one hood those seats are better with normal seats IMO.

You don't need to have those bucket seats, in Australia at least. You have the bucket style merino leather comfort seats that make the experience so much better IMO, and are cheaper.
4:08 honestly I was expecting a sort of a blooper or sth, but boy did Rory lift this washing machine by himself - what a beast of a man!
It’s a tumble dryer so does not have the weight of a washing machine.
@@jackn2683 makes sense, yeah. Still, he mentioned one of those is 90kgs later on in the video, not sure if he was referring to the one in the trunk in particular, or just in principle
