@ 13:09...speaking of annoyances, I hate when people just unscrew the gas cap and let it drop against the car, when the engineers placed a lovely little spot at the hinge for you to place the cap while you re-fuel

One of the best reviews ever. Please do more reviews like this. Reviews that actually show you LIVING with the car as opposed to another track obsessed review where most people never even drive on. This shows the car in a more natural habitat. I even loved the little details like the key you mentioned.
hi. its not a dual clutch 8 speed. its a torque converter 8 speed from ZF
The fact that he thinks it's a dual clutch really speaks for the gearbox, doesn't it? :D
Still they're slower than DCT on low end torque.

KungFührer no, not really. Everyone else complains about the gearbox. If anything it makes you doubt the honesty of this review.

Especially when there’s a designated slot to clip the filler cap to !
How about putting the paper bag on the hood? And then pressing down into the paper and eating. Disgusting.
You'd hope a big company like AutoTrader would hire people who know what they are talking about and who would not do stupid thing such as slapping the petrol cap against the brand new paint and spilling petrol down it too - which if left will cause the paint to weaken and give it a crows feet effect over time.

Really wonderful..almost perfect review of an instant classic. Audi is engineering some of the most satisfying vehicles in the last 5 years. A little conservative, and pricey with options, but still you fall in love with the engineering. Great review, great camera work and a terrific presenter.
The explanation and editing around the 6 min mark is bang on good soundtrack good volume good length of video, production bang on guys!

Can’t get over that rear wheel turning, you can see how it tilts round those corners as if it was on a tram line, amazing technology and my favourite car at the moment hands down.

Rory did a 'proper' (as you'd say over there) review. Here in the US, I'm drooling at how AMAZINGLY PERFECT the info was relayed. I prefer to drive than fly for then exact reason as the opening line comparing the two. Then stopping for the pastries along the journey....truly telling a story. I'm extremely excited to get my hands on one here in the US. GREAT JOB AutoTrader and Rory!

Great video and test. It would be interesting to compare it to the S6 for long journeys. A very experienced car fanatic told me he'd prefer the toned down S6 above the RS6 for long road trips.
Wow he did his topspeed run at 11:00 just next to my home town. And while this stretch is quite good for top speed, there are definitely better ones a bit earlier on his journey.
I like how many bits of info you get from a single episode. From Germany’s Black Forest coco clock and cake through bonnet power dome ...to a cylinder on demand. Well done.

That must have been a really bad launch. The car usually does 3,4-3,7 s 0-100. At least in all other videos I have seen so far.
And the Dragy doesn't only measure 0-60, it measures whatever you want, including 0-100, you just have to change the settings.

If you’ve watched videos that show it doing 0-100 in 3.4-3.7s then mourn when he says it does 0-62 in 3.6s then you’re missing something... 0-100 is in KM... and 100KM is about 62 miles... there’s your link...

That slower acceleration was due to it having winter tyres, it makes a huge difference for those who dont know.

@he1chy Too I live in The UK so I'm talking about The UK. The UK was the first G7 country to set a Net Zero Emissions Target. It means all gasoline, diesel and even hybrid cars will be phased out soon. Only cars like Tesla Model X will be viable here.

exactly my point..in fact Audi often understate their zero to 100km/p so was surprised this guy got those numbers.
