By spammy I would assume here they mean that an account is only posting affiliate links and nothing else. @Davesh So all you need to do is add some content curation (save pins to your board from other Pinterest accounts) to keep your account healthy.
Hi Anastasia -- so I only have about 18 pins on pinterest but what i'm noticing is that I could have a lot of views on a pin but very few click-throughs and maybe one pin! It's discouraging because I think i write good posts but I'm not getting the traffic. Is it too early to tell? I've done a couple of ads (is this a good idea?) and I get more views but not pins. Also I've found a lot of tech issues with Pinterest and not good customer service. Ie the option to create a new board went away and they did email me back after i emailed them but no real explanation except that it's a temporary glitch. Any advice?
Hi there! It is not rare to have a lot of impressions but not clicks - that means you have to work more for your pin creations and make more inviting and clickworthy pins and titles. Technically you can, why not? Are you worried that it could trigger any problem with your Pinterest account? I would contact Pinterest support before doing the switch and confirm with them this will not get your account in trouble. I know people who had to do a redirect from an old domain to a new domain and it worked fine for them on Pinterest. Pins just were going through a redirect to the new site.

Hi there. With your given topics (music, homeware, hotel reviews), I think it would be better to separate them as they are completely different from each other. But just do note that having several blogs will take lots of work and you need to purchase several domains for that. I suggest to focus on a topic/niche (let’s say lifestyle but focus on home decor, homeware, etc.) that gives you a lot of traffic or views (see your pinterest analytics which pins you get the most views) and focus on that for now especially that you are just starting out. @@abubakr_3710 If you don't drive traffic to your website and you just repin content of other people on your account, you obviously are not making money with it :) You could add in the mix some pins with direct affiliate links though and then you'd start making some money with affiliate products. Yes, this video is mainly focused on my ad income but there are also lots of other ways you can make money from your website (affiliate marketing, sponsorships, etc)
