Hey Greg, I've crossed your path many times in the past but mostly on POD content. I love that you are one of the marketers out there 'exposing' how AI blog articles (and more) are easing our marketing efforts, but also that Google doesn't know if the person who wrote the article is an expert on the topic or not. Yet AI is not going anywhere soon and can be leveraged on TH-cam as a great strategy! Except you made a mistake... AI can recreate human-like avatars who can speak your content for you without the need for people to be on camera. But yes AI is limited if selling physical products or demonstrating physical products.

Good question! I’d start with whatever you have around the house. Since you can join Amazon’s affiliate program for free, you likely have things from Amazon already. Using those to get started and then you’ll be generating income to buy anything specific you want to make content about 👍

Hey Greg, quick question: Let's say that I'm doing affiliate/influencer marketing for a product, say, a digital meat thermometer, that can be purchased on Amazon. But, I'm also doing barbecue videos for my own channel, so I'm making long form videos where I'm actually seen putting that product to good use. Is there a way that post a short video as an affiliate/influencer on Amazon, but have that video also send people to my TH-cam or TikTok channel to view the longer video where the product gets put to the test? Seems to me like that would be a gold mine. Any suggestions on how to make something like that work? Thanks; I appreciate your help. Great question. I like the way you’re thinking, it’s very smart. I’m not exactly sure because I haven’t tried it before. However, I would focus on the long form videos because they convert the best. I’ve tried shorts videos before but they lack 3 very important things 1. They don’t show up in search results 2. They reach people during entertainment scrolling 3. They don’t allow clickable links in descriptions. I’d recommend focusing on the long form videos and making sure the titles are made for what people are searching for. A bit hard to explain in text, but hope that makes sense. If you’re not already in the Masterclass I’d love to dive deeper into this with you!

Good question! I’d start with whatever you have around the house. Since you can join Amazon’s affiliate program for free, you likely have things from Amazon already. Using those to get started and then you’ll be generating income to buy anything specific you want to make content about 👍
Your videos have really helped me understand affiliate marketing and I am at the verge of starting but my concern now is getting a niche and a company. I am looking for a product to promote that I wont have to buy before i promote it because I cant afford to buy any product for. Can you make a video on niches that one can promote and wont need to buy the product?

Let's say that I'm doing affiliate/influencer marketing for a product, say, a digital meat thermometer, that can be purchased on Amazon. But, I'm also doing barbecue videos for my own channel, so I'm making long form videos where I'm actually seen putting that product to good use. Is there a way that post a short video as an affiliate/influencer on Amazon, but have that video also send people to my TH-cam or TikTok channel to view the longer video where the product gets put to the test? Seems to me like that would be a gold mine. Any suggestions on how to make something like that work?

Great question. I like the way you’re thinking, it’s very smart. I’m not exactly sure because I haven’t tried it before. However, I would focus on the long form videos because they convert the best. I’ve tried shorts videos before but they lack 3 very important things 1. They don’t show up in search results 2. They reach people during entertainment scrolling 3. They don’t allow clickable links in descriptions. I’d recommend focusing on the long form videos and making sure the titles are made for what people are searching for. A bit hard to explain in text, but hope that makes sense. If you’re not already in the Masterclass I’d love to dive deeper into this with you!
