Takes me back a long time, I remember we put a big tunnel in a friend's Mk1, it was about 1980 when we did it, new tunnel was formed using a lamp post as a former. Amazingly the car is still around...
@@jimbuilds the downside is that you look like an idiot doing it when the lamp post is right outside your house. I know in some cases people grafted tunnels in from other cars. Your project is looking good, it is easy to forget how light these cars are.
Smashin 'ammer! In fact you've smoshed it! Keep that heat down when welding and linishing it of and that tunnel will be sound.
