From WiFi SSID to your home address! wigle.net

just a short video where i show you the wigle.net website which can be used to find the location of WiFi SSIDs and BLE devices.
As a content creator, be careful if your address should not be known.
this is just a tip, it is of curse possible that your wifi SSID is not on this site, if you got some often used SSID you are pretty safe, but if the mac is known it is also possible to filter for that.
also if you show scan results of nearby wifi networks it is possible pinpoint it back even when using an often used name

thanks for the warning. I didn't know this website. When choosing my acces point name I was very careful not to name it something related to my area or name or whatever. My neighbour stupidly did so I know it is them :)

Wo kann ich meine SSID sehen? Was muss ich da rechts eintragen, SSID und BSSID oder?

die SSID ist einfach nur der Name deines WLANs

@@qayray I know aber irgendwie wird da nichts angezeigt wenn ich meine Details bei SSID und BSSID eingebe, da kommt absolut gar nichts raus. Ich dachte ich kann da meine exakte Adresse rausfinden. Hab ich was falsch gemacht?

@@mrgermanyhd Wenn deine SSID in der Datenbank nicht auftaucht dann kann man die auch nicht finden.

@@GameNOWRoom naja ich würde lieber nach BSSID suchen, da meine SSID halt ne Fritz Box ist und die gibts tausende male in Deutschland
