It's incredible how good people all over the world can be. This should be on the news instead of all the bad stuff we hear about all the time.

It's funny how people with so little can be so generous and (seemingly) happy, yet rich folks here in the west can be so suspicious of strangers (i.e. what does that stranger really want from me??) and unhappy because they always (seemingly) want more. Yes, quite the lesson!

Happiness and the pursuit thereof doesn't make the same kind of money fear mongering does.
Doesn't net you control over your constituents either.

What Noraly is showing through her Africa episodes is that the western media 's portrayal of Africa and its people are all wrong. The general population is kind and treat foreigners with respect. Sure there are street gangs and rebels running around but they are not the majority. It also show where people have very little material worth but they have good spirits. I salute the people of Africa.

You consistently strive to showcase the positive and happy aspects of people, even in challenging environments. Your choice of accommodations reflects the true essence of the people. Even if you spend the night in a comfortable place, you choose not to highlight it as it doesn't accurately represent the reality of the people. @@vp4744 I didn’t say there was anything bad in the video. You watched the video and extrapolated an idea to the general human experience that such empathy is not religion but from humanity and lived experience. I countered and said that if you think that humanity is the source for empathy then you have to apply the same to the evil in the world. You removed religion as the foundation of their empathy and kindness and replaced it with humanity so ok in that case humanity is the cause of both good and evil then. If you doubt that there is evil in general then you must either be willfully ignorant or sheltered and naive. If you’re the later then I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the world is filled with much evil.

Thank you Norally. My sincere gratitude is the positive contribution you make in terms of communicating Africa to the world. Africa has been badly presented for centuries. Compare the treatment meted to Africans when they arrive a countryside neighborhood in Europe as a stranger and the welcome and hospitality you received in that village. The contrast is so wide. I’m glad you confirmed it’s an experience you are not going to forget. You are literally impacting the whole world with your great energy. Please make the episodes more frequently. She contributes to those along the way who step up to help her. She pays her way. I'm uncomfortable saying this as we know most people from the African continent are good people as are Europeans. Thankfully, after watching your videos, I've learned that these negative things are untrue. What surprised me the most, though, was how friendly and helpful the people are to you, even though it's just you traveling through all these jungles. the kindness of the people, who don't have much to offer but try their best to look after their visitors. I appreciate you teaching so many people, including myself, about how lovely Africa is and how, in contrast to how the media portrays us Africans, Africans are warm and hospitable.

What struck me is how we enjoy watching the adventures and how we will not forget them, but everyone who meets Noraly, feels like this. The children of the village which took Noraly in for her safety (the chief said: "you will be safe here") and fed her and kept her safe, will eventually have children of their own and tell them stories about the time a white woman, who was riding her motorbike all by herself, came to stay overnight. How she smiled and laughed. How pale her hair was and how blue her eyes were, and with a wave and a smile, she rode away.
The men with their canoes, will remember the lone white woman with the lovely smile, crossed the river in their boat one day. It had never happened before and has never happened since.
So as much as we will remember Noraly's adventures, all those she meets will remember Noraly.

😁 And while growing up, the future children of the villagers, when told the story, would think that their parents were just making it up. But then some of them would leave the village and go to college and would come across this video on youtube or whatever might have replaced it and they would realize that their parents were indeed telling the truth.

Thanks Noraly for making it possible to share with you all this trips with all that this involved.

I’m so glad you were treated well in all the villages. That’s African hospitality. So my question is if an African biker would be riding around the Netherlands like this, would he/she get the same hospitality? If we only learned to love all humans the same, we would be a much better planet. Itchy, your humility through this journey has made me a fan.

Stirs my heart, Noraly. People are good, they share what they can. Indeed, rise with the sun and have a great real local coffee. Get stuck in the mud, we'll pull you out. So much going on in this episode to ponder. So many wonderful views, so many beautiful people, so many little encounters demonstrating kindness, curiosity, and thoughtfulness. I appreciate you, Noraly. You don't sensationalize, no propaganda, no agenda, you just let people be who they are and share it with us. This, my online friend, adds much to my life these days. Thank you!

Noraly I am so glad you took a bit of extra time to share more about your special experience in the village where you arrived just before total darkness. I almost cried the first time when they said you could stay and that you were safe with them. Then when you replayed this clip at the beginning of this video and told the story again at the end, I still felt such warm relief for you. I didn’t realize that I was even that worried for you out there in the remote jungle in the thick, slippery red mud… but I think I have been from my response to your safety. Thankfully, there are so many great and good people in the world! I am glad you have the support and kindness that you need for these adventures that allow me to visit these amazing places through you and your eyes that I would not get to experience otherwise. Thank you!

I got goose bumps watching you navigate the drone as it zoomed away from you sitting at the lodge then turning the camera to show a panorama of that unbelievable vast African rain forest in the Central African Republic. WOW!!!! The interaction with the people of the village and those encountered on the road will be embedded in your memories forever. Best episode yet. Stay safe.

What a lovely community of people. I loved how they said, "you are safe here". The key lesson from watching many travel Vlogs like this is that everywhere in the World there are good and generous people. Sadly media focusses on the tiny minority who are the opposite. Glad you're safe and sound and I love how positive you are even in the most challenging situations.
