Interesting talk. One thing I noticed, I think the speaker was mixing up “a ton” with a thousand pounds. A ton is 2000lbs.
“So we have elk. They can reach over a ton in weight”
We certainly don’t have elk that are over 2000lbs.

No sir he's not. A buddy of mine in 1997 killed an 8x8 that weighed 1873 lb.
They say the world record is only like 1,200 lb but that's not true at all. I know a bunch of people that's killed elk bigger than 1200 lb.
Moose or even bigger than that.
He said that brown bear only get about 750 lb. That's garbage. The biggest Kodiak ever killed which is a brown bear, it was killed on Kodiak Island off the coast of Alaska and it was 14 ft tall and weighed 1273 lb. It's front paws 15 and 1/4 in wide.
They said polar bears only get about 14 ft tall. That's not true either. There are replicas of some of the biggest polar bears ever killed in the San Diego zoo and they're about 18 ft tall. Honestly don't think people realize how big a bear gets. But I do know one thing if someone that's been a hunter since I was a child growing up in the mountains of Southern West Virginia is this, you can look at what Field and stream magazine or Cabela's or whatever hunting magazine you want to look at or website and their statistics are never right on height and weights of animals. They're pretty good on fish, but not when it comes to Bear elk moose whitetail etc.

Wait, there have been at least five ice ages.
Also, there are several things that can contribute to the start of an ice age:
Milankovitch Cycles - Precession (A slow wobble in the motion of the Earths axis), Obliquity (A shift in the tilt of the axis), Eccentricity (how round or eccentric the orbit is)
Atmospheric composition - A change in the level of greenhouse gasses (carbon dioxide, methane) trapping atmospheric heat
Tectonic shift - A change in the relative location of major land masses changing the ocean currents and warming the poles
Volcanism - Volcanic dust in the atmosphere blocking out the sun
A worldwide flood would require a change in the amount of water on the planet over a short period of time and then (presumably) the removal of that water a little later. Your not really talking about the glaciation or deglaciation of the planet, but about adding 14,000 feet of water in a couple of days over the entire surface of the planet then somehow losing it again. This is crazy. I've never seen anyone try so hard to prove the existence of supernatural things.

Nicely presented, I'm just wondering if you really don't see the hole in your own argument about the ice ages. The changing tilt of the earth does not cause the earth to cool down as a whole, the same amount of sunlight reaches us as any time. It is, however more focused on the equators, which causes warm equatorial oceans and colder poles. As you said yourself, this produces lots of moisture in the air, which will fall on the colder parts of the earth. No great flood required.
The time of the biblical great flood does coincide with a giant meteor impact in the indian ocean, which has left a huge crater at the bottom of that quite deep ocean. This did cause massive flooding in pretty much all of Africa and the whole inhabited world of the time, including a tsunami that has left 200m high 'chevrons' of dirt on madagascar. It would also have reached the americas. Several cubic kilometers of ocean just suddenly evaporating would cause some issues with massive rainfall throughout the world, which is the most likely reason that most civilizations have a flooding event in their mystical past.
I'm not saying some angry god didn't hurl that rock at the earth, since I can't prove that, but I am saying that he's not necessary to explain it all.
Regarding your animals and the quick diversification from a few animals... If we just look at similarities of bones, archeologists have found much older things that are a kind of cross between the groups that you mention. The thing with these species is that there are 'keyhole' events where only a few of the species survive. This may be a massive flooding, a massive drought, a direct act of god, aliens harvesting all the cute spiders and only leaving the creepy ones, or anything. The point is that if your leopard (the cats in the middle) were to go extinct because of this, suddenly your cats are now no longer 'a group', but two groups and Noah would have had to bring another set of animals. I'm also not sure if you're aware that there are many beetles that can't mate with each other anymore if they get infected by particular microbes. They can mate with others that are also infected, yet they were born as the same species/group. Your breeding argument falls apart if you look at more than the carefully selected few species that match your views, although if species can breed together they are generally related. It doesn't mean that the opposite is true though that species that can't breed with each other are therefore not related.
A true global flood would also have destroyed pretty much all plant life, which Noah didn't bring on his Ark. There's also no mention of kangaroos and koalas on the Ark. Your divine flood is simply not necessary and your 'fast' diversification is in fact evolution. It is only necessary if you compress the timeline to the last few thousand years as you seem to do, while paradoxically relying on long-term geological records.

Creationists will laugh themselves to death when seeing how evolutionists form their magic-based worldview ...
Atheistic 'science' is indeed based on magic and miracles, all made by their own god - the Almighty Happenstance.
If you believe in abiogenesis and evolution, you must believe in the Evolutionist Magic like:
In the beginning, nothing exploded and created all of the matter in the known universe. This is magic without Magician and without any scientific explanation.
Then magically self replicating DNA molecules, encoded with billions of base pairs with the specified / irreducibly complex genetic information were able to mindlessly create themselves out of dirt, air, heat and water while time was working against the process ... No atheist magic there ?
Atheist "science" must pass the fact that Man's (or his "ancestor's") 10 vital interdependent organs and their support systems must all be working together in tandem or we die and go extinct. Which was the order for their evolution? Stomach first? Brain second? Lungs third? Or did they all randomly "evolve" together? No atheist magic required?
How about the chicken or egg? Which came first? The egg? OK, just how did all of those genetic blueprints / specified DNA for that "proto" chicken (or its first "Egg Laying Ancestor") get inside that egg? Who or what put it there? No magic needed ...?
Or how about ”50 million yrs old” dinosaur red blood cells, soft tissue and DNA fragments being able to last that long without biodegrading completely in 10,000 YEARS? .
      No magic required ...?
Or how about the European Green woodpecker that has a tongue that wraps around the back of its head, over the top of its brain and through its right nostril? We realize that without that special tongue, the bird can’t eat and dies … How did that tongue "evolve" over millions of years? Nice atheist magic trick!
Or the hummingbird having wings that flap at up to 100 times per second so it can hover while eating. Without those special wings it can't eat and dies. According to the mindless "mud to man" myth that hummingbird supposedly evolved over 20 million years from a Tree Swift (Common glider). Who has enough imagination to believe THAT level of atheist magic?
Or how did the Bombardier Beetle manage to somehow "evolve" the explosive chemicals, inhibitor, enzymes, glands, combustion tubes, sensory communication, muscles to direct the combustion tubes and reflex nervous systems at the same time, in order to be able to perfectly control his defense system yet not blow himself up? No"magic" necessary? 😎
The slow "step by step by step" gradual (macro)evolution is nonsense! That's never scientifically proven ... There is no genetic mechanism to make it possible. "Micro evolution" occurs within the species existing DNA. "Macro evolution" instead would need qualitatively new genes, but getting them is impossible because they are already reserved in other species.
One must belief in magic to believe in abiogenesis and evolution from a universal common ancestor.

Given how violent the model he proposed was, you would think there would be records indicating the mass amounts of volcanic activity required to reduce overall sunlight. Also, the tilt of the earth is not the only factor to determine an ice age, in fact one of the larger factors are Milankovitch cycles. These cycles can alter the amount of solar radiation received, and can help to start an ice age. Also, in regards to the counter point that ice sheets cannot form if the oceans are cold, yes they can. Given the fact that there were parts of the globe that were not frozen and were actually quite temperate, the wind currents can direct water vapor to the colder regions, thus producing snow and therefore glaciers. This is mainly since hot water vapor creates a higher pressure than the pressure over cold regions, causing the water vapor to move to the cold regions and fall as snow. But this is only one factor, wind currents and general weather can cause more and more water to deposit on the cold regions as snow.

I forget which volcano erupted in if I remember, the 1970s, spewed ash into the stratosphere that encircled the earth. It was enough to drop the average temperature a bit for 2 years. Now if/when the Yellowstone Caldera should erupt, there would be enough ash ejected high in the atmosphere to drop the world temperature by 2°F to 5°F for possibly 10 years. Predictions indicate 10 feet or more ash in the central US, and a foot or two on the eastern seaboard.
Smaller eruptions can eject ash high enough to not be visible on the ground but block some sunlight. Kind of like a screen on a window slows daytime heating.
Just for interest you can test the effect by using a multimeter to measure solar panel voltage and current output. Check the voltage and current output unregulated, with no obstruction to the sun's rays. Then put a window screen over the solar panel and check output again. You will be amazed at how much the output is reduced. Just hold your hand in front 2 feet in front and see how much output drops from a 2' by 4' solar panel. Probably covering 5% at most.

Before the Genesis Flood, there was one super continent, so animals didn't need to cross oceans to get to the Ark. As for all the parasites and insects, they were probably on the backs of every animal that came into the Ark. The Ark had the area of 3 1/2 football fields, and probably had all the insects present. No special environment needed, since before the Genesis Flood, the climate was perfect, worldwide.
It sounds like a fairy tale to you because you don't know the facts, and my guess is, you'd rather ignore the facts. On the Ark, where it was cool, and dark, most of the animals, if not all of them, were probably in hibernation, so they needed very little care. Also, as long as the animals were on the Ark, God caused the animals to become docile, and easy to handle.

Noah lived 600 years before the Flood happened, so he had more than enough time to build the Ark with his sons. Most probably he also had hired workers. Construction work took 75 years - more than enough to build one Ark. Noah only had to collect a pair of every kind of the 'land animals breathing through nostrils'. Estimated total amount was 6000 individuals. Herding was done by God.
The continents were not yet formed, so on the Pangaia there was no need to cross seas. Food for a year would've been a rather trivial job while sea was full of edible stuff. All animals in the Ark were either small by their species or small by their young age. The sea was covered by flotsam and full of fish so there was lot of food everywhere. Little land animals are known to drift thousands of kilometers on oceans.

At 19:17, why is AIG still using the Masoretic Text when referring to the ages of Arpachshad through Serug? It is well known that the Masoretic Text (and hence most English translations) omits 100 years in each of the descendants of Shem. When we look at the Septuagint, the Samaritan Pentateuch, and even the writings of Josephus, we see their proper ages. When using the Masoretic, it causes a distortion of 650 years in the Biblical timeline, and one that makes it seem as though the pyramids were built before the flood, and these kinds of assertions makes Christians look bad.

And the other writings (some minor discrepancies between them in places also) have the hundred years on them. And if you add the extra age to each person you get an extra 650 years of history that's kinda missing. So instead of 600 years for mankind and animals to replenish the earth, move out, create diffrent kinds of animals and all the diffrent peoples that we see in ancient cultures. You really have about 1,200-1,300 years of history. And if you add back in that extra time you can get the correct amounts of people existing at the times from then on stated in the bible. Personally I get kinda why they don't necessarily look at it. It would give people another reason to say the Bible isn't accurate and bla bla you can't trust it. But in this case where you have 3 other sources scholarly approved and studied. I say that as God sais, (paraphrased) "truth shall be known from 2, 3, or more witnesses" that we could safely add those hundred years back in. Whether it got changed accidentally or on purpose that doesn't matter because it doesn't change God's word at all on what happened and why we need Jesus!

      Yes.
If you go by the Masoretic text, the years of the patriarchs turn out so that Shem loses all his sons before he dies and is still living when Abraham is born. It looks like a very odd timeline.
But when you go by the LXX and Josephus and I believe also the Samaritan Penatuch, adding the one hundred years to each name, then the time line looks more normal.
There are then enough years to get a good number of people for the building project of the tower at Babel without a rediculous birth rate.
The LXX (Septuagint=70) was the bible of the early Christians and they seem to have thought it sufficient for their needs (with the OT prophesies and all). That is why many prophesies don't read according to their OT references but seem out of sinc. In my estimation, this give credence to more abuse of the scriptures than if they matched better.
But religion has the problem of becoming frozen in place when new information comes to light.
Of course not all the LXX manuscripts are without their problems but the better ones are translated from an earlier Hebrew text than the Masoretic are.
I think the freezing onto the King James version is one of the problems with this because it is translated from the Masoretic text and there is something deceptive about it being "Authorized" by King James. Nevertheless for the most part it is a reasonably good translation for most purposes though I find it troublesome with respect to eschatology where the word for "age" is translated "world" when it should be translated "age".

Believe what you want, but don't force me to pay tax dollars to teach your religious beliefs in school. Science is the knowledge of things gained from observation, and replication. No one has observed or replicated a change of a rock into a living creature. You are required to just have faith it occurred.
Separation of church and state should have stopped the denominations of evolution from being taught in schools long ago. Darwin even predicted we would soon find thousands of bones to prove his theory, and if we did not he said his theory should be discarded.

"Natural selection may have a stabilizing effect, but it DOES NOT PROMOTE SPECIATION. " Daniel Brooks "a downward Slope to Greater Diversity " Science, Vol. 217.24 Sept 1982 p. 1240
It selects, it doesn't create. If you worked in quality control of a automobile factory, and you Selected cars from the factory with certain features, you will never get a space shuttle. It will allways be a car. If the cars you select from do not have wings, you will never get wings due to the fact you can only select from what's available. Cars don't have wings there4 you can't select any that do.
Natural selection is biblical, it doesn't create new species it simply causes them to adapt to an inviroment by selecting the traits already found in the species. Each kind will mate and produce more of its kind but with variations. But it is still the same kind and can still mate.
For example, a house cat can not mate with a lion. But a lion can mate with a leopard, who can mate with a jungle cat that can mate with a lynx that can mate with a bobcat that can mate with a house cat because they are all the same kind, not a different species.
A human can not mate with any kind of ape or monkey and produce offspring because they are not the same kind, there is no link between them... hence the term the missing link.

If we are a simulation, which I am increasingly persuaded that we are, then all of this finger counting going on here is ultimately just a whole lot of heathen nonsense. It makes no sense to harp on these aspects of the Noah account to disprove the basis of the account. Let's say the account went like this:
_And God toldeth Noah to buildeth a boat of specificeth dimensions._
_And it was a bigeth boat._
_Then God commandedeth a bunchest of animals to calmly introduceth themselves to Noah, and then entereth the bigeth boat._
_And so-eth a bunchest of animals did calmly introduceth themselves to Noah, and then entereth the bigeth boat._
_Two-by-two, male and female, did the animals calmly introduceth themselves to Noah, and then entereth the bigeth boat._
_Then God said "I'm gon' make it rain soon. So get ready, cuz here it comes. It's gon' rain for 40 days and 40 nights. Jus' sayin..."_
_And so Noah got ready because of the commandeth of The Lord about it raining and stuffeth like that._
_And the people scoffedeth at Noah when they had heardeth of it raining. They could not believeth such a thingest._
_But sho nuff, it rainest. And the people all drownedeth to deathest._
      _The Endeth_
Then you come along and claim "Ok. So lets say the animals all entered the Ark and stuff. How did they all fit? It couldn't have happened because they could not have fit!"
And then, in response, the people of God say "Darn. He's right. All that stuff about God using His Power to make the animals come aboard the Ark, and making it rain and all that, must not have happened because ain't no way God could have fit them on that boat. NO WAY!!!"

It is not just a simple proces like in minecraft where you add a little wood and stone to make a pickaxe. It's quite complex in most cases, and getting it right in the absolute way is even harder.
Here is an example of a theory that might be BS but that a lot of scientists believe in:
Quite a few scientists believe in dark matter. We can't see it, touch it nor smell it. We do not have the tools to know if it exists.
Yet they say it exists because it gives us an anwser to certain gravitational effects wich cannot be explained by currently accepted theories of gravity.
For some reason they think 85% of the galaxy is made out of dark matter
      (Source: wiki)
Now, there are two roads we can take:
      1) Black matter exists and a few scientists are right
      2) Black matter doesn't exist, some other scientists are right and the theories of gravity might be a little wrong.

Unfortunately the lack of scientific literacy in videos like this serve only to make science look hokey and completely illogical when it is for the most part entirely a logical system with the fallacies being two-fold. First is that it is a human endeavor which means there is always a bias risk, secondly science is by it's very nature very much a world-based discipline which deals with physical evidence exploring all logical thought and scripture clearly shows there is a choice we have to make by taking a leap of faith to believe it and trust in the Lord which means at some point logic will fail us and faith takes over. This is what is so fascinating about apologetics, archeological evidence being discovered constantly in support of at the very least the New Testament. Admittedly, I don't have enough to make a leap in one direction or the other. I do know the order of some things and recognize when someone is inaccurate in their interpretations of what happened and when...
There is strong evidence that the deluge as described in the Book of Genesis has happened. The story is told in many accounts from all over the world by many different cultures. Plato described what is currently called the 'Richat Structure' as the lost city of Atlantis and what shows signs of a great flood dated to approximately the same period as the much contested event of flooding around the Great Sphinx. Studies of sedimentary layers all over the world indicate that global floods (and ice ages) have happened several times and the Great Flood is so far the latest.
There is also strong evidence of evolution taking place, and even in the bible, the simplification of the creation of the universe, solar system, and that of Earth describes everything from just after the Big Bang (The Firmament), creation of Land, Sea, and Sky, Light and Dark, and all the Creatures great and small living on, under, and above the earth.
Just stop and think about it... The Big Guy does this in 7 days... His Days... He being as infinite as the pre-biblical man could understand, a day to Him would be millions, possibly billions of years to mere mortal man. Big guy was a Designer and Mathematician, in so doing, I theorize that 'evolution' was in fact, His prototyping and redesigning all the way up to the final forms the animals shall take.
Well, there are the (somewhat connected) theories that I've put together from my observations of the subject... Am I right? Although I'd love to be, I doubt that I am. I'd like to think I'm close.
Honestly, I don't think anyone alive today knows. I think the Bible (In all of its iterations) have the fundamentals right, but too much could be lost in time and translation. However, it is fun to hypothesize and theorize based on what we DO know so to fill in gaps where we don't know. 🙂

While I am fascinated by what is revealed here, i've come across 2 problems. One, it IS possible for the oceans to warm at the same time as everything else is cooling and this is explained by the same reasoning you used: geothermal activity beneath the ocean surface(it would also explain why the temperature changed as geothermal energy is not infinite, it is powered by the sun). The gases and water vapor will block sunlight, cooling everything while the ocean remains "warm". The second? after viewing some of the other videos about dinosaurs, while there is "some" logic to it, there are a lot of leaps from one spot to another as though "don't focus on this part" . For example, the verse written, "for the wage/s of sin is/are death" does not say that death did not exist, only that sin is PAID with death or GIVEN death. As a Christian, I want to understand more, but here, your logic does not "take captive every thought" or outdo an argument as of 2 Corinthians 10:5. I for one find it fascinating that some of the depictions in ancient carvings and art happen to match Dinosaurs. There is no disputing that. The problem? That is not definitive proof. Correlation does not equal causation. As an example, what happened to the fish-like dinosaurs? While it is theoretically possible that their numbers were reduced by the blotting out of the sun by the rain / snow , what then prevented them from reproducing in the same manner as they had before once the few survivors remained? Were they unable to keep pace with the other animals hunting their eggs? Chances are, unlikely if they were able to survive for thousands of years

Well, I am not sure if you are a YEC'er or not, the problem with "kind" is that it is not defined what it is. YEC community use arbitrary definitions that suits the discussion point for the moment. Kind is not a term used within biology (I was a little sarcastic in my post of the donkey).
However within the "flower kingdom" the concept of biblical kind completely de rail.
There are plenty examples of where two different flowers can get a fertile offspring but this offspring can only get offspring with it's own "kind" and not with either parents.
So in the biblical sense of "bring forth of their own kind", this new offspring is indeed a new "kind" by the biblical definition.
But the YEC community dismiss this (by suddenly use a new definition of kind) saying that the off spring and parents are still flowers, therefore not a new kind.
So the "kind" concept is completely useless, added to this is that the YEC community shield itself by saying that evolution should result in that dogs produce rabbits (which is a completely straw man).
So when YEC'ers says, there is no example of a kind produce a new kind ("bring forth of their own kind") and you show them these flowers, they suddenly leave the bible and say something in line with "it is still a flower".

The Bible has already been translated by the best translators alive today in Mauro Biglino and Paul Wallis. Mauro Biglino is very well known and respected for his ability to accurately translate the original Jewish Bible to the Christian Bible used by the Vatican. Paul Wallis is also well known and respected for his knowledge and understanding of scripture. His Eden book series is shining a light on how the Church has kept people in the dark about the true nature of our existence. The problem people have with Mauro's and Paul's accurate translations of the scriptures is that the scriptures have been mistranslated numerous times over the centuries and those mistranslations (probably intentional) have told a very different story from the Jewish Bible. That, along with the intentional editing and omitting of original scriptures (the Books of the Apocrypha) at the First Council of Nicaea, have given us the 'King James' version of the Bible for Western Christianity. You know, the version that shows Jesus as a tall, slender, fair-skinned, long brown-haired white man. LOL. This has lead to many people, such as the ones presenting here, to perpetuate a false narrative regarding what the scriptures are actually telling us. The King James Version is the absolute worst version to use when trying to understand what these stories were about. The Old Testament is not a story about God, it is a story about Extraterrestrial intervention in the 'evolution' of human beings. I've always had a difficult time understanding why people believe in a God for which there is zero evidence and simultaneously reject the idea of Extraterrestrials for which there is a mountain of evidence of hundreds of sightings, videos, pictures and even physical evidence. I suppose it has to do with people fearing that there might not actually be a personal God who answers all our prayers.......because there isn't. Show me some evidence of Gods existence that is verifiable and I will gladly consider it, but since I've been saying that for many years now and no one has presented anything to me I must conclude that no such evidence exists. On the contrary, there is no shortage for evidence of human suffering on a global scale since the beginning of time. That's why the Old Testament is all about the cruelty of the 'Powerful Ones' not God who did heinous things to us in antiquity and are still doing heinous things to us today. Didn't you ever wonder why the 'God(s) of the Old Testament were so different from the God Jesus talked about in the New Testament? The difference is like night and day. Old Testament God(s) wanting to be worshipped and sacrificed to, and cruel beyond the pale. New Testament God no sacrificing, no worshipping, all about love. Anyway, if you have the courage to challenge your beliefs (and most of you don't) here's the link to Mauro and Paul's discussion of what the Bible actually says. th-cam.com/video/ALmXC9oGFSw/w-d-xo.html

Of course he doesn't properly address the time bit which will negate this fairy tale. He said, it took approx 600 years for animals from the ark to branch into kinds we see today, and that the ice age helped disperse them across the earth following the flood. With Egypt being in a famine as described in Joseph's story, it means the Sahara desert was already formed and the earth had stabilized so, that the ice age was over. This would imply that the whole ice age period took 400 years or less? Just by assessing glacial formation, unless the earth dropped at least 50deg C instantly, it takes thousands of years to form glaciers and commensurate time for the glaciers to recede. Attempting to fit this whole tumultuous geological activity into 400-600 years just to make the narrative fit says a lot about the credibility of this presentation. As well, ocean based geological activity that 'started' the flood, would mean worldwide undersea earthquakes enough to raise ocean temperature by at least 5 deg for the rain. The part glossed over is the mega tsunamis that would arise from undersea earthquakes. No wooden ship let alone this ark would be able to withstand +100m waves coming from all directions.
Lastly, as expected, he ignores which mammal was carried into the ark, that branched out into whales, dolphins and orcas 😂 again within 600 years.

The reason secular scientists think it took so long for the ice sheets to form is because they aren't considering the possibility of warm oceans. Warm oceans would mean much more precipitation, so it wouldn't take as long for the ice to build up. There have been computer models demonstrating this possibility. Warm oceans from volcanic activity combined with cool air from all the ash and debris filtering out sunlight results in ice sheets exactly where we know they existed in a relatively short amount of time.
It is quite likely there were tsunamis. The Bible mentions that the "fountains of the great deep (ocean) were broken open." However, if the ark was not constructed near shore, the tsunamis would not be likely to cause damage to the ark itself, just like people in the mountains survive tsunamis and people many miles from the coast would never even know there had been a tsunami if no one brought them word. It's weird that you'd assume the ark would be built along the coast when there is plenty of land far from shore. With a massive underwater volcanic event, the tsunamis would destroy the coast land, and the super heated water would trigger massive amounts of rain.
Interestingly, the dimensions given for the ark are very stable dimensions for a large ship, so even if you think the account was made up, whoever wrote it had a good grasp on ship building. If it is true, the boat would be seaworthy for the purposes of bobbing over massive waves.
Regarding marine mammals, marine animals were not taken on the ark. That seems fairly obvious, and I'm surprised it has to be said. The Bible mentions fowls, cattle, creeping things, everything that creeps on the earth, everything that moves on the ground, and everything that was on dry land. Nowhere there does it mention anything that lives exclusively in water. Marine life would be expected to survive to some degree on its own. Of course massive amounts were buried, as we see with fish fossils by the thousands, some with another fish half eaten, but enough would survive to reproduce later.

Eccentricity, the shape of earth’s orbit takes 100,000 years. All those along with continental drift, ocean circulation, solar output, and volcanic activity are all factors in climate change causing ice ages and warm spells and happen over eons of time. You must have a time machine, to know there was an ice age 11,600 yrs ago, and then a worldwide Flood after that? The higher saturation of oxygen fits biblical facts, since the plants and trees grew bigger than they do today. And there were a lot more plants before the Genesis Flood.

I'd love to see a creationist explain the difference between micro-evolution _(which they generally accept)_ and macro-evolution _(which they reject)_ ... since it's the exact same thing, just a matter of time/degrees.
I could draw a sequence of pictures that change from a fish to a bird... draw enough of them, and you'd never be able to pick out a single picture and say _"left of this is fish, right of this is bird"_ without highlighting the absurdity of labels.
I also love how Christians keep trying to say _"Science says..."_ when they're in their own groups - yet, in debate, those same statements are always completely refuted by actual scientists. It's a lie... a deliberate misrepresentation...
To be honest, I think these creationists just have such a "small" view of God, that they think he creates like a human craftsman. God with a small 'g'... and cannot even consider the fact that setting into progress a vast evolutionary system from just a simple set of rules requires a far more majestic God than satisfies their egos or fits within their tiny experiences.
But then, they also claim to understand God and what he wants...

Having read the Bible cover-to-cover, many times, starting over when I finish, over the last 40+ years, I find nothing incompatible between evolution and scripture, which is not to say evolution theory is correct, but deserves independent scrutiny. What is incompatible is taking someone else's speculation about what scripture means and giving it the same weight as the actual words in the Bible.
