Nice set up mate and loved the video, been thinking of doing something similar for my Hilux, I am thinking of getting the Goat rack from Off-road Animal, but have not made up my mind yet, all the best for 2024 and thanks for posting the video.

Hey mate the rig is looking great so far! I have a few questions:
How much does the bar, winch, and light combo weigh?
How much weight does your canopy fitout weigh?
This is pretty much the setup im looking to create however I have to change my gebuine bar out as its weich the front axle at capacity without a winch, very frustrating!

Mate, it looks great, very nice upgrade. I just have couple of questions.
1. Hows the front camera, did you relocate when you put the bull bar?
2. Did you upgrade your alternator as you got 2 batteries now?

Hi there & thanks for the questions
The camera does get relocated & hasn’t caused any issues
No changes on the alternator….the DCDC charger takes care of all the charging without the need of an upgraded alternator

How the wild peak on road in wet conditions? Does the Hilux slide around roundabout in wet? Thanks
After 12 month they are wearing fine & haven’t had any issues

Can you put any other canopy other then the alu one?
Yeah for sure
It’s just an N80 tub 👍
Do you have to remove the roller shutter if you want to install a canopy for the rogue? I got the same car
Yeah absolutely you do if you want a canopy
A little bit involved doing it as well

Upgrade alternator next?
Just stick with the standard one as it’s doing the job after nearly 12 months 👍
@@unproadventures4142 thanks mate. I seen the new high amp alternators I am note sure if they are smart alternators like the factory one. If high amp ones are traditional type perhaps no dcdc charger not needed.
