- Compilation of my favourite flights from 2015.
Locations: Lofoten and Kvænangen in northern Norway.
Flights involving people,, emergency vehicle and restricted airspace was done with permission from the involved parties
All aircraft are equiped with DragonLink for rock solid rc control!

1.3ghz video transmitter with Cloverleaf or Mad mushroom in the air and Mad mushroom/Pepperbox on diversity reciever.
Recordings are made with Gopro Hero 4 Black edition and Xiaomi Yi. Mobius for selfiecam.
Aircrafts: Skywalker 1900, Mini Talon, Ritewing Z3, Bixler 3, Ranger EX, Align M470, DJI F550.
Thanks to Hermann Olsen for some epic chase scenes and formation flying.

Cause of crashes:
#1 Empty lipo
#2 Unknown DJI failure
#3 Tunnel vision
#4 Just a close call ;)
#5 Elevator hinge broke on my Ranger EX
#6 Close call when miscalculating the speed and direction of the moving cloud.
#7 Too long wingspan!
#8 I throw llike a girl!
The high speed low level flying is excellent, really fun to watch 👍

Great video! Just wondering - what kind of transmitter range does your drone have?
I just bought my first FPV - it's an XK-X252 with 300-350m range.
Would that be ok for a beginner? I'm gonna be using it to film coastlines and wildlife.

you've convinced me of three things.
1. This is awesome.
2. You're absolutely insane with these things. It's a little heart pounding seeing those runs right over the rocky hillsides
3. I need to visit Norway. looks like a beautiful place.
This was even better than "Best FPV moments of 2014. Many thanks for a great video. I'm going to watch it many times I think. I especially liked the title flash at the end "No aircraft were lost making this video, though many were harmed". That was a hoot!

This video is amazing! Today, so many people are focused on advancing in the hobby or wrapped up in RID, that they have forgotten or could care less about how it all got started. You live in the harshest environment, but these videos would be almost impossible to produce anywhere else on earth! They are absolutely stunning, and I can really feel the emotion and awe you must get from these flights. Your video is flawless... I possess a DVD produced a few year back by a helicopter pilot in New Zealand's Fiordland region. He ran his camera whenever he flew through some of our magnificent alpine and fiord scenery, and sold the compilation. It is wonderful viewing, but I believe your video is even better. I can't wait for the 2016 edition. :o) Thank you so much.

I was thinking about that too. Funny how we always think that what we are used to and see everyday is boring. Probably somebody would think where we are os pretty great though. Just get out and fly!

I like how you do these first person view plane flights. The only thing I can suggest is being a little bit more he's on the controls to make a more crisp more clear video. Also like the analog for when you are flying that it shows like kind of what a fighter jet would. All in all. The video you made about drones landing on an RC plane I have not yet seen it actually land. But I'm sure that would be a great day.

+Kabab this is lofoten in Norway.. the whole area is a wild and wonderous place to behold.. if you have the opertunity, go for a backpack or car-vacation there! highly reccomended!

Is fpv still legal in Norway? Can you fly in national parks? Just wondering because the rules are quite strict where I'm from.

I was all still in one piece except a Gens ace 9000mah lipo :(
Oh and all the electronics was also thrown to the nose of the plane.....
That's crazy. I thought the plane would be gone.
+Nathan Knight I couldn`t believe it either, but diving 40cm into the marsh helped with reducing the damages. Had to stick my hand down to my elbow to find the gopro ;)
