Honestly I saw EA and nearly checked out but I trust Lemon enough to believe the video will at least be an honest run through and it's kinda giving me ghostwire tokyo vibes with the hand magic. Certainly not gonna be pre ordering but looks like a solid pick up so far.
Looks like this may be a great fantasy action experience with a pretty i spired gameplay and art direction, will look forward to seeing how it develops!
Looks cool, competently put together, but I still feel we have yet to experience a big studio game that has taken the fantasy of being a powerful mage and bent every effort into fulfilling that task. The best we've gotten so far are like this, which mostly seems to be "DOOM but more magic"
This reminds me of an indie title called Runewaker, but with a lot more to it and in more of a classic FPS style. Im interested to see how this turns out.

That was a very well thought out, thorough, and honest review that left me kinda wanting to get the game and if a few minor frame drops are the only true issues from a demo, that's pretty good! Well done Lemon😊

Hold it, hold it. You said this is being published by EA, right? But you also said the following about it: Single Player. Offline. No Microtransactions. My brain is having trouble computing these two drastic clashing of ideologies being together in one place.
I think bigger studios need to learn that price point is, in fact, negotiable. This single player, 20-25 hour game is being listed at $60 (or $70 for a deluxe edition that doesn't appear to include anything additional, at least on the steam page). Even with this game piquing my interest and looking up my alley, there's no way I'm interested in buying on release when I could wait maybe 2 months maximum and pick it up at a much more reasonable $30-$40 which is more in line with what this length of game is worth.
Oh good, a new studio. With some Dead Space guys working for it. That has ties with EA. I imagine they have some pretty pessimistic ideas about the future of their studio and possible franchise. Y'know... because history. And EA's standard practice of "see good game, buy studio, meddle with the production of the sequel until it's bad, see sequel is bad, shut studio down".
