@@TheReZisTLust There was a time in pc gaming where you could have bought a new high end gpu that was obsolete the next year because no one used their API. I'd much rather deal with games that don't run as well as they should, then games that literally don't work at all on my hardware

@@sergiosegura2024 yeah I can’t say I’m a huge fan of every modern AAA game looking the same. It shouldn’t just be indie and AA games remembering that its possible to have different art styles and create worlds that are actually compelling to look at and that I want to immerse myself in.
This game looks deliriously boring, but the commentary here is fantastic. "She taught me how to do a backflip and Iron Manned out of the room." It's still making me giggle an hour later.

I don’t really see how having projectile magic (in what is already described as an FPS) is a bad thing, and having different colours to differentiate the magic types is a cliche formula but it does work. Nothing about these two things specifically seem bad to me.
EA really did a hard reboot of/reused ideas and assets from bulletstorm. I honestly can't even complain I loved bulletstorm and this really seems like a spiritual successor.

It lines up with EA's reputation at least, though a bit more dramatic.
