I know exactly how you feel. We had a stand of birch that shielded us from the nearby main road, came down due to rot, such a shame was great for many finches. Then last week the wind took down two large fence panels, exposed us to the World we lost our nice wooded corner. Yup its crap, but stuff certainly grows back, guess we dont see change cos it grows so slowly, like seeing our parents if we dont visit them year on year. Ah well, we will be our grandparents age one day😢
Pallets are worthy of keeping....I grab the heavy ones that are made out of scrub oak....A wood that grows in the southern USA... Instead of pulling them apart, I just cut the boards off in between the rails, at 16 inches plus, about 40 plus cm... Afterwards, I cut the random lengths to a nice squared off even 40...In soldier fashion, I build raised beds for the garden....With a coat of CWF, the wood doesn't rot for a decade or more, even with it being in constant contact with dirt....Looks good too. We call the wood scrub oak, but it may be some kind of other species....Like Ash....Ash is resilient, pretty strong, and useful....as you well know, firsthand...At least that is what your lady should say....Guffaw!
Hej! Hoppas ni mår bra! The good thing about the timber felling is you might get some smaller scale firewood off the felled forest. Unless they're now sending even the scrap off for burning at a heat / power plant!
Tack för filmen 😀
The sound of the tractor is the same as an old 1950s coach, that came up the street when I was a young kid. Lovely sound which took me right back.
Fabulous video Ash, great bit of reversing practice. So love watching that tractor of yours. Keep Loving the Lifestyle Bud 🙏
10/10 on the trailer reversing, proper job that 👌.

I had to do a month of work to get some cash in so didn't have time for anything else. Back to normal now 😊
Podrías hacer un vídeo que sistema de calefacción tienes para el tractor?
Las temperaturas ahí tienen que ser muy gélidas
When they come to cut, do they leave anything you can salvage for firewood etc?
En que zona de Suecia vives?
show us your hair out of the pony tail/bun
