The thing is tweeters and mids are made to cover part of the spectrum of sound. When all 3 are set correctly it will give a rich full sound. Mids you don't want loud as in high frequency because it's not made for that, a mid is just that, the ranges where your subs leave off and tweeters are starting. Some folks like a little overlapping. Like you said with the pioneer tweets, it's high range loud but wouldn't sound good in a system unless you add a speaker to cover the range it doesn't. I just think most people couldn't (including myself) get a true sense of that speaker's sound and quality.
Its a thing about how much money do you have and how old you are also what do you need. So if you have a lot of money and can spend it for car Audio. You will definetly go for a 3 or even 4 way System. With 16cm 13 cm 10cm and a tweeter to cover the low midrange/midrange/high midrange/ and at leat a god tweeter for the high frequencies. And power this with Digital or Analog Filters not just with capacitors and maybe would use per Door more Chanels than just one to Power it up. For the Bass and deep bass you would use 2 Different subwoofer one Portet and one closed enclousure and would power them up with separate 2 channels on a Amp. So would need a very good isolation in the doors. A good power supply. And would tune the system with microphones ans software at a perfect level up. And would get perfect results you see at the Graphs in the Software but you want be able to hear this High fidelity so Perfect 😂 because you had the money to do all this things but would be above 50 or 60 and your ears woulnt perform like in your 20s 😂 And if you in you 20s you dont mostly have 2-3 k for a basic and 20-30 k for a realy highfidelity sound system.
