    Hi. This is and old video but maybe you’ll remember. On the pipe there seems to be a black oring (I can get that from bmw) but also a green seal/oring? That that need replacing as well? I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks

      Technically BMW should be able to sell those o rings. They are special for ac. Any other would get damaged. Or you can ask the supplier of the part.

    hello, I bought a new one but they recommended me another model from Mahle ac345000s. I saw it was almost half the price of your Mahle ac345000p. Do you think it is compatible for bmw e60 520d 177cv year 2008? On the website I saw that they are both compatible, but I have doubts, especially for the price difference...

      The things, with the cheaper ones, sometimes they dont fit properly, but also how long will they last, there is a reason they are a lot cheaper and depending on what you are doing with the car.

      The P is their Premium line. The S is probably made in China. I would hope that being Mahle it would still be made to a reasonable standard. I've just purchased the Nissens version. It comes complete with new orings so thought it would be more convenient. I would think at this price point they're all pretty much similar. I've no desire to spend big money on a 17 year old car so I'll take my chances.

    Which one pressure valve goes to what. Is it low pressure to cold and high pressure to hot?

      You may need to search for a google diagram of an ac system to get an idea of how it works. Am Not sure what you mean by one goes to cold and the other to hot ?

    Just Hammer under where the bolt goes. (Not near the Aircon line) First small screwdriver, then a second thicker one and twist :)

      No, get it refilled by a qualified shop. Halfords can do it.

    How do we remove gasses safely if there is still some inside old condenser??

    • @DaringBeefcake
      @DaringBeefcake  ปีที่แล้ว

      I normally would take it to the ac specialist to remove the gas if any before replacement. However if the condenser is leaking there wouldn’t be any gas left in the system as it leaks out.

      Tap the valve wth a screw driver to check if there is any gas in the system. The only way to empty it is bt going to a garage with the machine. they can put the gas back in once you are finished.

    Bruh.. it was crushing my heart watching you hammer and chissle the aluminium ac line. Maybe use a massage gun so vibrate and loosen it. dont wanna mangle the soft aluminium
